I was browsing youtube and came upon Dollastic's toyhunt in London, and she went to "shreks adventure" (just the store not the ..ride?) and i was FLOORED with all the dreamworks merch they had there! what the heck! is there any place in the US to get that stuff..? i really want some of the httyd merch.... aaahhh ...
alternatively...anybody in London wanna make a pit stop for me? ; )

ive been letting my niece play with some of my collection (with supervision...), my g4s in particular, since she loves them so much. she really likes to play with the pearlies. when i got them they obviously had greasy box hair, so i gave them detergent baths and their hair went right to soft and silky. but since she has been playing with them, their hair has frizzed and poofed out! i watch her pretty carefully, shes not playing with them any rougher than I would play with them, it seems like she just touches them and they become a disaster. is this just the natural order of things, or are g4s more prone to this, or what? i let her play with some g3s/g1s, and havent noticed that big of a change.

yesterday i went to a toy sale fundraiser, and picked up a couple nice things, but then this morning my dad came in my room and dropped this huge tote full of ponies on my floor! its mostly MIB g3s, some loose g2s, and a couple playsets, and loooads of g3 merch! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginthis sew-and-so i got yesterday at the sale, and the firefly i got today out of the tote. im so happy i finally have a g1 plushie, i love them so much they're so goofy! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginthese are the MIB g3s i got, though i'm really only interested in pepperberry..the others i might be willing to part with  visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginthe tote had the g1 show stable and the other is i think the g2 garden playset or something..? i also got several bags of ponywear and various accessories, and the fences for the stable (i think). and the g1 collectors carry case. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or logini've already set up my g2s on a bookshelf, here they all are. i have yet to identify everyone but i know one of them is ivy. i didn't think i would like them so much, my opnion was kind of nuteral on g2s but holding one in my hand..i totally love them!!! they're adorable. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginthe tote also came with tons of g3 merch and stuff. oh, and not pictured i got a cookie-making kit still in package, with the batter mix and cookie cutters. its really hard not to want to open it and make them!!! thanks for checking out my brags! if anybody wants any better pictures of anything let me know, or if my items would be helpful for the wiki or something : )!!

hi everybody! im making a series of big brother customs based on little brothers, and my next project is big brother leaper. im unsure what to use as a base though, and i want to ask for advice before i go dying big brothers willy nilly.
should i get a daddy apple delight or chief and use their white base to dye green?
or should i get a Tex and use his yellow base?
and how would i go about it? if i got tex would i use blue to make green? where can i get yellowy-green dye... ?

I got this night glider at a toy fair (aka flea market) the other day for only 5$!!! she was really really dirty, but today i cleaned her up! at first i was worried that she was too dirty, and soap/hot water wouldnt do the trick and id have to acetone it or give up, not to risk ruining her marks. but with some elbow grease and good soap she got clean surprisingly quickly! here's a shot of one half dirty and one half clean. she was PRETTY DANG filthy. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginafter thurough scrubbing of all her nooks and crannies i took acetone to her hooves to wipe off stubborn scum, and then washed her hair with detergent. here she is wet and clean : )! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginand after quick blow drying on low and air drying, shes up on the shelf with the other girls, clean as new! Her mane is really really silky, like, factory silky. and her forelock popped back into place after i washed her, no re-setting needed! her tail is still a little crunchy on the ends. but overall im really really pleased with the result, im so glad i have her in my herd now~  visitors can't see pics , please register or login

today a friend and i went to a "toy fair" at the semi-local flea market. its a huge flea market, but for today they had a section up just for toy collectors and vintage toys. it was really fun! there weren't very many booths, but several had g1 ponies, and lots had g3s/g4s. i only picked up two though, since i pretty much had everybody else. here's what i got! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginim really happy to have the night glider, even though shes REALLY dirty. but, aside from all the muck she has little to no other markings/flaws. her hair just needs a nice shampooing and she should be right as rain. shes such a big want of mine, and i only got her for 5$!!! the celestia one i have been looking for EVERYWHERE, its from the combo celestia EQG/pony set, and i just wanted the pony. im really glad i found her too. i got a non-pony item too... visitors can't see pics , please register or loginand I think hes SUCH a good find!! for only 10$!! he's the flocked GUND "doll plush", from the year 2000 i think? i really really want to de-box him because the box is in pretty poor condition, and i want to feel his skin fuzz.... i wont get rid of the box though, i still want to display him in it. i think im just going to take him out and put him back in. hes really cool, im really glad i got him. anyways, thats it! thanks for looking!

i was browsing through my bait box, looking for somebody to customize for fun, and i came across this stripped (who i thought was) sundance. but to my surprise, she has no country marking! does this mean she is from Spain, if i gathered the info from the wiki right? i thought, cool! i have a spanish sundance! (even tho she has no hair or cutie mark...) but then when i went to mark where im going to put in hair, i found dual-color mane hash marks (made by the manufactures to mark when to change colors), and to my knowledge, sundance only has one mane color, yes? i thought it might just be a factory thing to put it on all of them, but after investigating my other single-color g1s, that is not the case. who was this pony??! any help identifying her would be great! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

hello everyone! i am going to be moving out of my now apartment and taking things to my parents house for a while until i can take everything into my new apartment (wherever it is...). They will have to be in boxes for probably a couple weeks minimum, a few months maximum. what is the best way to make sure none of them get damaged? what risks should i be cautious of? : O
is it true that its safest way to pack them is everybody gets a ziploc bag? or is it sufficient to just.. kind of neatly place them together in the box?

hi guys! i was at a local consignment store and i saw a mint in package novi star..um..the green one! i don't know their names but theyre all really cute. i thought about grabbing her but that shop can run kind of expensive, and they usually are mostly toys (but never any ponies >_>) so i might go back for her.
i think i read somewhere that they arent in production anymore? is this true? is it worth buying one mint and leaving her in box? : O

went to the flea market, vv, and TRU today. no ponies, but i scored a couple dolls! I've been having very good luck with barbies lately : O at the fleamarket i picked up two 1966 barbies for 5$ each (score!) and a Seriously overpriced meowlody with her tail missing : / i didn't want to pay the full 10$ for her but the guy was pushy and I've wanted a doll of her for a while, so.. i got her anyway. ce la vie! these are the barbies i picked up. i have no clue who either of them are, but i LOVE their dresses. love love love.
