Trader & Shipping Support / Help with removing feedback on eBay
« on: March 26, 2012, 01:13:00 PM »
Recently I've been left feedback from a seller who has left negative comments with a positive rating. It's the first time I've ever had this happen to me in nearly the decade I've been using the site so I'm a little unsure if I'm doing the right things in order to get it removed   Could someone please tell me if what I've done is correct?

First off I've contacted the seller directly to ask them to remove it. (I'm not holding me breathe on that one)

Secondly I searched through eBay to find a link for reporting such a thing and completed the required fields. (item number, seller ID, reason for wanting it withdrawn and commented in the box why)

Then I received the following message from eBay:

This links me right back to the page I used to report it in the first place but is asking me to fill it out again? Did I do something wrong the first time or is this normal procedure?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I feel so lost with all this :yikes:

Pony Corral / Do other people rename your ponies?
« on: February 28, 2012, 01:55:59 PM »
My husband has just kindly informed me that he accidentally knocked off a pair of newborn twins that were on display on our bedroom bookshelf. So I asked him which ones and he says 'The blue ones, Twitter and Tweet'. Took me a moment to realise that he meant Puddles and Peeks, lol.

Although he's pretty good with remembering their names (mostly commons and those that appear in the cartoons) he also has a habit of naming them himself. He can't be the only one, so who else has family and friends who rename ponies?

Pony Brag Arena / Pony cake! :D
« on: February 21, 2012, 06:03:55 AM »
Today's my birthday (I'm celebrating being 21 for the tenth year in a row  :P ) and just a couple of hours ago my husband surprised me with a cake he had especially made for me.

What makes it more awesome is the fact that it's not just any pony made into a cake but is in fact my persona KG.

Customs / Flutterguy, Fluttershy and a baby dragon (lots of plushies!)
« on: February 20, 2012, 07:46:31 AM »
Over the past few months I've been trying my hand at making G4 plushes (well, 2 versions of Fluttershy so far) It's the first time I've made a plush from scratch in almost 15 years so I'm a little rusty.   Both of them are made from yellow fur fabric, pink yarn hair, felt eyes and symbols, and completely hand sewn.

Here's a pic next to G4 Fluttershy for size comparison:

I this was my first attempt and Christmas present for a good pony friend of mine. She had mention in a conversation how she wished Hasbro would release a talking version of Fluttershy with her 'Flutterguy' voice so I added a voice box recording of 'Evil Enchantress'. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, though her head angle and ability to stand could have been better, but her new owner assures me she's perfect just the way she is ^^

My second Fluttershy. Learning from the previous attempt I found an alternative way to attached the head and wings, thickened the tail, managed to adjust the angle of her head and reenforced the legs with cardboard so that she is capable of standing on her own so I'm even more pleased with how she turned out.  :satisfied:

After making these two girls I am going to leave it a while before I attempt another plush as they were hard on my poor little fingers (I stabbed myself lots of times >_< ) and they are sooooo time consuming.  :yikes:

And lastly here's a little welsh dragon plush that my eldest daughter (she's 8) made in time for St.David's day next month which she wanted to show off too:

I drew the pattern for her and helped to attached the spikes and wings, but everything else was she did by herself ^^ I'm so impressed with how well she did.
I'll have her making pony plushes next  :devious:

It's been ages since I've bragged so here's what I've acquired so far this year.

She completes the set for me

Here's the first of two late Christmas presents, this one is from my brother:

One of the few G4 sets I want; I just love Fluttershy and her little animal friends.

Last Saturday (after many months of planning and rearranging due to real life issues) I met up with PaintKitty who handed me this cool bag:

Inside it was my late Christmas present from her:

She so spoiled me :lovey:  I've wanted Blueberry Baskets for ages now and finally have her, Shoreline is a set completer, and the twins and their accessories are a so adorable. (there was also some dark chocolate but that didn't last long enough for the photo, lol)

Whilst on our day out we stopped by ASDA and picked up some Blind Bags:

And this girl arrived earlier today:

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / G1 UK Mail Order Pet Show for auction - ENDED
« on: January 19, 2012, 06:26:00 AM »
Over the upcoming months I will be getting rid of my childhood Littlest Pet Shop collection. I plan to offer my items on the MLP Area and Kenner forums before listing on eBay in the hope that some, if not all, of it will be able to find new homes amongst collectors who will appreciate it more than I am likely to. First up is an auction for the extremely rare and hard to find UK Mail Order Pet Show Party Kit.

Ending bid: £80 GBP

The set includes: Welcome and instructions letter, Invitations sheet, Rosette sticker sheet, 4 participant badges, Judging area mat and podium.

This is my own childhood item and has been played with so there is some wear to the mat and podium, but the rest is still in unused condition. I am honestly listing the condition of each item, which sounds worse than it actually is in most cases, so that you may bid in confidence knowing all of the flaws beforehand. If any further photos are required then please do not hesitate to ask as I will be happy to provide them for you.

As you can see, the podium has seen better days and is the most affected item in the set. Unfortunately it has been crushed and torn during previous storage, and I've done my best to salvage and store it since.

The mat is starting to curl at the corners with the bottom right the most severe. There is also a huge crease to the top right corner and a tiny one to the top left corner too.

The participant badges are unused but the one on the bottom right has started to come away from the backing as the sticker adhesive has dried over the years.

Apart from some minor handling wear and paper ageing there are no flaws to the rest of the set.

Important please read
* The auction will be displayed in £GBP and run until the end of February. Please PM all bids to me; doesn't matter about the currency as I'll convert to the nearest £GBP if needed.
* Payment is to be made via paypal only. There will be no hidden fees, but buyer is expected to pay for item, shipping, and insurance if required. I will post to anywhere in the world and use whatever postage method the buyer requests which is to be stated in the paypal comments when making payment.
*For anyone wanting to check, I have excellent feedback on both the MLP Arena and eBay

Happy Bidding  :)
