Hay Ponies! I enjoy swap shopping, not only because you share pony love with others, but you are also introduced to new ponies or receive extra goodies in lots - some are total surprises! And who doesn't like nice surprises?!    I got this Rainbow Curl Streaky from a swap shopping spree and instantly knew she had to join my herd! Here are some before and after photos! This was my first time with the ringlets. Hay there! --- So.. I currently am swap shopping and picked up a lovely Streaky in a big lot... Never have owned any of the RC ponies before...I love her musical theme and she's a purple unicorn, so I've decided to keep her.  If those aren't good reasons for keeping a pony, I don't know what is!  --- Anyway, her curls in the mane need only minor work ..just need some defrizzing / styling...but I'd like to know how many curls are in the tail? I've seen photos.. Most have three, others have four.? Are the colors supposed to be separated in the tail too? There's not a clear picture of her MOC so I can't really tell... Unless there's a photo out there and I've just missed it!  I'd like to keep it as original as possible.. because I'm one of those collectors.. Feel free to share your styling techniques on these lovely Rainbow Curl ponies too! I'll share some before and after photos too..

Welp, my pony dreams have finally come true!! I've always wanted to own this girl, and now she's finally mine!! Hey y'all! Here's my most recent pony mail baby accessories brag and a nice little surprise that made my day yesterday! First up, the accessories! Anyone who knows me / chats with me on social media knows that I'm a sucker for the baby ponies; and I'm always on the lookout for their accessories.. They are just so small, and cute and tiny and precious! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe girl I got this from said it was her friend's childhood baby ponies' accessories. Her friend gifted her with all the ponies and accessories she had...The girl ended up giving the baby ponies to her daughter to play with, leaving these accessories behind. As most of you know on the Arena, I'm serving as hostess for the first ever Texas Pony Meet Up. Since buying / selling / trading on Facebook and on the Arena back in June, I've acquired several new additions to my collection. . . I figured since I have a thread featuring my original MLP collection, I'd start a thread featuring my 'current' one! I now have replaced all my original childhood ponies I lost except for winger High Flyer and TE Sky Rocket!  The most exciting discovery had to be Magic Star! If you haven't seen it already -- check out the 'before' photo/thread! I took a 10-year hiatus and I originally only meant to replace lost ponies, but everyone knows that doesn't necessarily happen and your collection automatically grows! 2016 Texas Pony Meet Up!

Sign up deadline: Closed
About: This will be a multi-generational, family friendly pony meet up, focusing on the older gens (G1-G3) for Texan collectors - this is not a Brony event. Feel free to bring ponies/accessories/playsets for sale or trade and even some of your favorite G1 - G3 ponies for Show and Tell! Please note: We will not turn away non Texas folks who are in town that weekend and would like to attend! UPDATE: My mom is graciously helping with lunch refreshments. Dinner as well as buying & trading are Dutch/on your own.
For participants: We should have enough G3 prizes and would appreciate more of G1 and G2 prizes. If you plan to help with FOOD/REFRESHMENTS, DECORATIONS or general SET UP, please plan to arrive at around 9 a.m. Saturday. While there is no cost to attend, donations are welcome! ALL donations will go to paying my mom back for lunch and extra items she has/will graciously bought/buy for this.
I ask all participants to please refrain from wearing any kind of perfume / cologne that day/evening as your hostess is chemically sensitive. If you must wear it, I ask that you do not sign up. Thanks for your understanding in advance!
If you would like a list of things to do in the area, I can provide suggestions! Please PM if you would like to sign up! You are welcome to bring a guest and/or food/treats for everyone, just let me know so we have a good count/enough.
Any questions?, please PM me. At some point after deadline has passed and location(s) is/are secured, I will notify all participants with additional information.
Tentative Schedule:
9 am Arrive/set up - Optional - only if you brought goodies/food, BST & Raffle items
10 am - noon Welcome, Buy/Sell/Trade! Don't forget to get your $1 & $5 raffle tickets and guess how many peppermints are in the jar! All proceeds goes toward paying my mom back!
Noon Lunch Time!
1:30 pm Door prizes / Jar Contest winner announced. Mystery gift bag of pony goodness!
2 - 3 pm Show and Tell - First ponies, rare ponies, customs, etc.
3 - 4 pm Raffle drawings ($5 and $1 / ticket)
4:30 ish Wrap Up / Remaining Door Prizes / Farewell.
5 pm Clean Up
6:30 pm Dinner - Optional/Dutch. Restaurant info already given out to those who signed up.

Hay Ponies! Here's my latest group of lovelies! The complete set of Pretty Pals and Baby Ponies!  I acquired this set (and some ponies) from a mother who lost her daughter last December in a car accident.  I'm honored and proud to give these little darlings a new home with me.  I only had Pockets and Hoppy from my childhood - they are my favorite set! In the '90s, I sadly gave them away (and all their accessories) to a family garage sale for selling....a moment of what was I thinking!? ha! The others are new to me. They are sooo cute..and y'all know I'm a sucker for baby ponieesss! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is the 'before.' I tackled Baby Pockets and Hoppy first, and I forgot to take before photos of them. They didn't need that much cleaning..The others are waiting their spa treatments..I'll post some before and after photos at some point! Nectar is the most dirty, poor thing.. I got a lot of pony mail yesterday, including a big lot of ponies in various conditions, and when I mean various -- I mean various.. eek! . . . Was a bit overwhelming!  But I got it at an amazing deal...the pony genie strikes again! 
Several I'm sending to my pony friend Featherwurm ( waves hello if she's reading this!  ) for restoration work. ... There's all kinds -- from tail rust to rehairing projects...eye / neck issues, etc. I'm still too chicken to decapitate ponies and work on /clean their insides.. I will give the ones I have here a good spa treatment...that I can handle! *********************UPDATE!*****************
Hi y'all!
I received the ponies several weeks ago and will prepare most of them for hair styling! It's just taking a bit longer than usual.. My grandfather passed away Feb. 14, and the ponies were delivered right before I left town for the funeral.. When I returned, I wasn't in the right mood to unbox them and such, so that's why the delay.. plus, I recently moved and need to find my hair cleaning supplies since I'm not completely unpacked! But anyways.. I wanted to update on here.
Featherwurm did an OUTSTANDING job on them. And I couldn't be happier! The complete "before and after" photos can be seen on her MLP memories blog (link is in her sig). Check it out when you can!

Whoohoo, This is my 1,000th post! I can't believe I've already hit this mark! It's been fun hanging out here, learning and sharing with y'all.  I have finished my holiday swap shopping (hay yay!) and I'm anxiously awaiting pony mail! ...Today I conducted spa treatments on two ponies who will be Christmas presents for my brother's gf. I hope she likes them! Anyways, here's to another thousand!

Hi there,
I'm looking for any RB experts.. Did they make two varients of the '80s regular sized dolls?
My childhood Patty O' Green doll had blue designs on her shoes. I recently bought an '80s Patty who has plain two toned green shoes.. I'm wondering if the all green shoes version was the first..? I also have seen two different '80s Rainbow Brite dolls, each with different shoes.. Any input is appreciated!
