Pony Corral / Where did the G3 background ponies' names come from?
« on: November 07, 2020, 09:22:33 PM »
G3 didn't have as many non-earth ponies, so on Butterfly Island, in Unicornia, and in Breezie Blossom, they used new inventions (I believe the only cartoon Breezies with toys were the main three!) to fill out the crowds. The former two locations' residents are listed on My Little Wiki, and each one has a name.
These names are all a little... off. Like name-generator off. None of them were used in the cartoon as far as I know, but they may have been in the credits...
Here they are: www.mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:TV_and_Movies_Exclusive_Ponies
Who was responsible for naming these? Are the names official or fanmade? Just curious, as always...

Pony Corral / G3s with unique eye highlights
« on: November 05, 2020, 04:37:19 PM »
I was examining a book I found thrifting the other day, kind of perplexed with it- I had never heard of it before finding it, and could find no documentation of it online. It's a Play-a-Sound book called "Hop, Skip, & Sing!" with Twinkle Twirl on the cover. Her symbol isn't visible, and neither are some other ponies', so I was going off of color scheme, hoof heart, and eye detail to make sure my identifications were correct. Then, Twinkle Twirl's eyes stood out to me...

Okay, so every G3 has two highlights in her eye: one large white one, and a smaller colored one. The smaller one generally comes in three shapes: a circle, heart, or five-point star. Twinkle Twirl does not have any of those three shapes; in fact, she has two small highlights! How many other ponies break the norm?

I know of three or five, depending on whether you count G3.5.
Applejack has an apple. I used to think it was a heart until I got mine- I noticed while inspecting her "smudged" eye!
Twinkle Twirl has a white four-point star with a small reddish-pink circle next to it. As far as I know, she's got the only "double" highlight.
Waterfire has a flame. Hers is my favorite!
Scootaloo had a heart in G3, but in G3.5, it's a butterfly.
Cheerilee had a flower replace her star in the transition to G3.5.

In addition to these, each pre-Newborn So Soft (Rose Blossom and friends) has a more detailed highlight which is a mini version of her symbol.

Are there any others? There are a lot of ponies I don't have, and this detail tends to be quite small in photos.

Pony Corral / G3.5 book list?
« on: November 05, 2020, 03:05:14 PM »
Does anybody know if my list of G3.5 books is complete? I'm not including coloring books at the moment. There are a TON of them and I'm pretty sure I have one with at least most of the artwork, in both its original printing (hardly used, but a couple of missing pages) and its recent reprint(!) that was sold at Five Below a year or two ago.

Bendon board books
Despite sharing titles with the G3 versions, the artwork is new and the text doesn't match (at least in Toola-Roola's book).
  • Cheerilee's Flower Garden
  • Pinkie Pie Throws a Party
  • StarSong Sings and Dances
  • Toola-Roola Paints a Picture

Phidal My Little Library
These came in a three-pack in a carrying case with StarSong on it. There was a Core-7-era G3 version, too, but the book titles are different. The G3 version's illustrations appear to be made of official artwork, so these might be the same.
  • I Can Help! (Sweetie Belle on cover)
  • A Stylish Idea (Rainbow Dash on cover)
  • StarSong book (idk the title or where I saw that it was StarSong, but that's who's on the cover)

Animated Storyteller books
These came with a Pinkie Pie plush who could read them to you. The covers feature G3.5 artwork, but the inside features screenshots from Meet the Ponies, where these stories came from.
  • Pinkie Pie's Party Party
  • Sweetie Belle's Ta Da, It's My-New-Cake Party
  • Cheerilee's Slumber Party
  • Scootaloo's Outdoor Play Party

French Comics (Jungle Kids)
These were only released in French, at least to my knowledge.
  • Joyeux Anniversaire (Happy Birthday)
  • L'histoire Qui Fait Peur (The Scary Story)

Other
  • I Can Read! The Greenest Day
  • Cute Cupcake Cookbook (Australian exclusive)

All in all, I'm surprised at the lack of Pinkie Pie books- the only covers she's on are the books centering on her!

EDIT: I just did a search for a book I found the other day (the same trip as the moldy Twilight Spore-kle) and I didn't find it. It's a G3 Play-a-Song book called "Hop, Skip, & Sing!" The documentation on G3 books is not perfect, but I don't know if there could be "lost" G3.5 books. After all, online shopping was much more popular then than it was in early G3, so listings for more recent books should still be up, right?

Pony Corral / Mold on a plush?
« on: November 03, 2020, 01:35:21 PM »
Okay, so... I pulled out my Sleep & Twinkle StarSong, and the back of her wings have white stuff on them. I've only had her since like 2016, but I've never noticed anything like this. It's not powder, and I don't think it could be paint. Everything around her was fine. Her wings were already stained up, but she was free, so I was happy, but this is not okay. Is this mold? How can I clean them?

(And yes, I'm still using Photobucket for now.)

Okay, so my mom recently made this bear for a friend's son. It's a beginner-friendly pattern, so I might be able to make one.
https://www.amigurumitogo.com/2014/11/crochet-teddy-bear-youtube-tutorial.html
Handling it, I immediately saw Sleep & Twinkle StarSong.

She skipped the thumbs and attached the arms differently, which helped with the look. I would attach the legs further apart, but that's pretty simple to do. The muzzle's about right, and the pattern actually includes angel wings that are perfect for StarSong.

The only real bit of altering I want to do is to add cheeks. A few increases to each side of the face, just to bulk them up a bit, then the pattern is all the same. I also want pointed ears, of course, but there are a million patterns I could work with for that (though I'd appreciate a recommendation!). I'm not sure how feasible the cheeks are, nor where to put them. I also lack the skills to test the pattern again and again. If somebody could help me with this, that'd be great!

Thanks in advance!

Pony Corral / Pre-G4 talking ponies- how many languages?
« on: October 29, 2020, 08:41:33 PM »
Okay, this is a little random. I just found myself wondering how many languages each talking pony came in. Here is (what I hope is) a complete list of pre-G4 ponies who speak/sing with words. A few other toys are listed as well. These toys would be a nightmare for a super-completionist. If there are any I don't have listed, let me know!

If I don't have languages listed, I've only seen them in English. If you have seen foreign ones, let me know!

G1:
Sweet Talkin' Ponies
Chatterbox and Talk-a-Lot (unnamed in the US) spoke when squeezed.
English- Says "I'm pretty!" "I love you" and "Comb my hair"
Spanish- Says three Spanish phrases... one is "Vamos a jugar" ("Let's go play")
German- Says "Kämmst du mein Haar?" ("Will you comb my hair?) and "Ich hab' dich lieb" ("I love you")

Honorable mention: Simba's Talky-Pony fakie
This one only comes in German, to my knowledge.
Says "Ich bin hübsch!" "Ich hab' dich lieb" and "Kämm meine Haare," which are literal translations of the English phrases!

G2:
Romantic Couples

Princesses Golden Dream and Flora speak and light up when Princes Blue Dream and Fauna "kiss" them on the cheek (magnets?)
All I know is that they say "I love you." They said it in English in a foreign language commercial (probably French), but they could just not have wanted to record it in the proper language.

G3:
Spoiler
Singing Minty Plush
Sings a line from "That's What I Love About Christmas" (altered then recorded just for her)

Grand Puzzleventure Game
Does this count? It's got voice acting.

Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie
The features of this one are quite extensive and I'd be shocked to see a foreign one... That doesn't mean there aren't any, though.

Ring a Pony Cell Phone (exact name?)
A toy phone which allows you to "talk to" Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Sweetie belle.

Musical Boombox
Plays three songs made just for it: Pinkie Pie Pop, StarSong Swing, and Scootaloo Scoot.

G3 & G3.5 So Softs
Spoiler
You can tell which ones I actually have, probably. Examples of phrases are given when known.

Bright Night
Says a short prayer

Good Morning Sunshine
Says many phrases, including "Good morning, Mommy!" and blinks/moves

Sweet Steps
Says nine phrases and walks

And now for the ironically more talkative So Soft Newborns! I'm optimistic about foreign Newborns, since foreign commercials are everywhere! They speak English in a lot of them, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they don't speak those languages.

Newborn Pinkie Pie
Says phrases related to feeding her

Newborn Rainbow Dash
Phrases include 'Will you rock me to sleep?" "I love you!" "I'm sleepy" and singing "Rockabye Baby" (to the tune of the MLP theme). Tilt sensor to sense "rocking," which triggers most phrases.

Newborn Play n' Carry Skywishes
Has 20ish phrases which depend on whether she's laying or sitting up, activated by foot button. For example, while sitting up, she thinks she's being carried ("Skywishes LOVES to go bye-bye!") and is in "play mode" while laying (I love my toys!). Tilt sensor and moving limbs.

Newborn Make Me Better Rarity
Has buttons in mouth ("Do I have a temperature?"), on stomach ("My tummy feels funny!"), on heart (*heartbeat* "That's my heart"), and on leg (mine's broken ), and a heat sensor in nose ("Thank you for wiping my nose"); a few phrases are tied to each, with all phrases being unique to each trigger.

Newborn Crawling Ponies
Button on back activates crawling (accompanied by tail wagging!) and speaking. Apparently, these break easily...
Scootaloo insists "I'm the best crawler ever!" while crawling; she says "mama" instead of "mommy," which is, to my knowledge, unique to her among G3 So Softs!
Pinkie Pie has her own separate set of phrases. I'm pretty sure she says "mommy."
There are fakies of these which sing a short song in Russian(?). I don't have time right now to dig for video, especially since their song is unrelated to what they're supposed to say.

Newborn Cheerilee and Sweetie Belle
Button on foot activates five phrases; there is also a button in the mouth which only has sucking/giggling/yawning sounds tied to it.
Cheerilee:
1-"Cheerilee hungry!" 2-*Giggling* 3-"I love you, mommy!" 4-"Lalalalala" (to the tune of the MLP theme) 5-*yawn*
Sweetie Belle:
1-"Sweetie Belle tired" 2-*Giggling* 3-"I love you, mommy!" 4-"I'm sleepy" 5-"Lalalalala" (to the tune of the MLP theme) *yawn*
The same phrases are identical between them (Sweetie Belle's fifth phrase is Cheerilee's fourth and fifth combined); in addition, Sweetie Belle's "I'm sleepy" line comes from Rainbow Dash.

G3.5 Newborn Pinkie Pie
I don't know a single phrase from this one! I assume they're mostly recycled.

G3.5 Newborn Sleep & Twinkle StarSong
Sleepy eyes and a star-shaped button on chest which lights up in red and blue during all phrases.
Mouth button has two different sucking sounds and five or six phrases (*burp, giggle* "Excuse me!")
Chest button has two songs (each followed with "Goodnight!"), the shorter one being "Lalalalala, lalalalala" (to the tune of the MLP theme) and the longer one being hidden in this spoiler:
Spoiler
(to the tune of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star")
"When the stars light up the sky,
StarSong sings her lullaby.
Softly, as you rest your head,
Starsong also goes to bed.
Time for sweet dreams to take flight!
Now it's time to say 'goodnight.'"
Foot button has six phrases ("StarSong sleepy!")

G3.5 Newborn Cheer Me Up Cheerilee
I HAVE seen this one speaking Polish! www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_DVH7LOJNE
I have her, but I don't know all her phrases or which button triggers them (she's been boxed up for over a year). She has a button on her foot and her heart, each with different phrases (there are a LOT compared to most others!) such as:
"Hi! I'm Cheerilee!" "Flowers are my favorite!" "I have a tummy ache"

G3.5
Animated Storyteller Pinkie Pie
Her mouth moves as she talks. Retells (in first person!) the events of the Meet the Ponies segments for Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, Cheerilee, and Scootaloo, in that order. Sings (in this order) the Core 7 theme (short version), Pinkie Pie Pop, and shortened versions of the following songs from Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie: Come Along, A Day Full of Cheer, Dancing with my Friends, and Make a New Friend Every Day. In addition to these features, she has other, random phrases she says before and after performing them. She may ask you your favorite food or favorite color, ask to be hugged, or inform you that everyone is a princess, to name a few. She also says "Bye-bye!" when she goes into sleep mode.

I might make a separate topic for G4, but not right now... Ten years of being quite popular in an era where talking toys are easy to make means that there are a LOT of them! That list doesn't seem to be getting bigger, though, as an Amazon reviewer reported a pan-European version of Flurry Heart who doesn't use words, and neither Oh My Giggles Pinkie Pie and the G4.5 kissy Celestia thing use words, either. Seems easier to make one version of a toy that you can sell worldwide rather than a toy that actually speaks... Oh well.

Pony Corral / Has anyone disassembled Princess Twilight Sparkle? UPDATE
« on: October 28, 2020, 06:40:36 PM »
I've had a very productive day of thrifting. I mostly found accessories, but I did find a couple ponies. One of them is the electronic Princess Twilight Sparkle. She's functional, sure, but she has a problem. All over her NDS are splotches which resemble pony cancer, with some black gunk in that side's wing. I can only imagine what her insides look like. I think it's some sort of mold or mildew, since the area where I found her frequently floods during hurricane season.

I tried searching for disassembly instructions, but her name is just "Princess Twilight Sparkle," so you can guess how that went. The best reference for it is this video: https://youtu.be/-htpjDMgZtQ
It's not very instructional.

My guess would be to heat up the screw covers, pry them off, then make sure I sort them in a way I won't mix them up. Then I'll just attack her internal organs with rubbing alcohol and probably soak the shell in diluted bleach or something. My dad is good with electronics, so he can help if anything goes awry with them. I just want to know if anyone has experience and tips they could share.

Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I can't photograph her nasty skin condition for you, and I'm just as shocked about why as you might be. I decided to just give her a surface clean for now, using a soapy washcloth... The dots came right off with minimal staining! It was the same on the harder plastic parts (face, body) and the more vinyl-y parts (ears, scalp). I don't think I could capture what's left with my camera. She's still got gunk in her wings (and probably in her guts), but she's a lot better off now. I just have to get off the nail polish/glitter glue/whatever that I thought would be the easy part. If she's not easy to open, I don't think I will. She's fully functional and mostly cosmetically fine, so why risk it?

Customs / Can you bake McDonald's ponies?
« on: October 27, 2020, 03:30:22 PM »
Hello! I'm a beginner customizer and I have a question. My only completed custom is an alternate rehair (whom I may post about later), but I've already got a bunch of ambitious ideas buzzing around in my head like angry bees, so I guess I should entertain some of them!

My favorite art style is G3.5's, but the toys don't do it enough justice (they look fine, just not fully accurate). My attention has fallen onto the McDonald's ponies due to their abundance and pose variety. I chopped the molded tail off of a Cheerilee who was quite faded and had a haircut. I then realized this was easier said than done... Sanding helped, but there was some scarring.

My plan was to smooth a thin layer of clay over her crotch and back legs to remove the scars and fill her hollowed-out feet with it. I tried a baking soda/cornstarch dough that you can make in the microwave, but it's too stiff and brittle and didn't stick very well. The pieces in her feet just fell out, and the leg pieces flaked off while drying. Sculpey might have the texture and adhesion I need, but would she survive the oven?

Has anybody baked a G3 or G3.5 McDonald's pony? They're basically the same. If you don't think she'll make it, I could boil the clay. I opened up a Butterscotch from the 2005 set and she was full of mold, so I drowned her in a microwave-safe dish and nuked the pony soup for like... ten minutes? I don't remember, but she survived unharmed! How would I go about the boiling process if it's what I'll have to do?

If anyone's curious, she will be a full body repaint. I don't think it would be easy to match the faint glittery/pearly sheen these guys have, anyway. I'm also planning on giving her a full head of hair by gluing on brushed yarn wefts, and trying to mimic those crazy tails you see in G3.5 artwork somehow. Wish me luck!

Pony Corral / What's up with yarn-haired Hasbro Softies Bowtie?
« on: October 19, 2020, 10:35:24 AM »
I stumbled across this girl on eBay, where she's still for sale. She's quite the enigma!
She looks just like a normal Hasbro Softies Bowtie, but with multicolored yarn hair (purple/green/red/pink in the mane, only pink in the tail) and no evidence of a tush tag. Her hair is thin and short; the pictures don't get close up to her mane, but her tail looks original. I don't know what to think about her.

If she was from Rhode Island, I'd definitely think she was a prototype, but she's from Georgia, which is still on the east coast, so who knows? She's obviously been played with, as evidenced by scratched-up eyes, but is in decent shape otherwise. If she was a custom job, she's really cleanly done- but why bother removing the tush tag? Why use those clashing colors? If she was a prototype, the yarn was probably cheaper to test than the synthetic hair, and they used four colors they had on hand, perhaps to test color distribution for the Rainbow Ponies.

What do you think? Is she a restore job with questionable taste, or an escaped prototype? I'm thinking about buying her, but I'm not sure. She's cheap for a prototype, but way expensive for a custom that looks like... that. If you beat me to her, though, you wouldn't break my heart. Just let me know you got her!

Pony Corral / Dream Beauty questions
« on: October 17, 2020, 04:26:49 PM »
Okay, I've had my eyes on these gorgeous creatures for a while now. I don't own one yet, but am thinking about rectifying that soon. In the meantime, I have four things I would like to learn about these guys.

1. Mane Beads
It seems like such a small detail; how many of you knew they had different shapes? I call them "diamonds" (faceted gems) and "pearls" (plain spheres). If there were any variants with these, it would be easy for them to go unnoticed. For anyone who is blessed with a Dream Beauty's presence, I'd like you to please check them, make sure they match this list, and tell me if they don't (and tell me the two I'm missing!).
Spoiler
Morninglory: diamonds
Skysplasher: diamonds
Windsweeper: pearls
Circle Dancer: pearls
Mayfair: diamonds
Crystaline: diamonds
Dreamgleamer: diamonds
Stardazzle: pearls
Manewaves: pearls
Sheertrimmer: diamonds
Spritzy: diamonds
Colorglow: pearls
Colormist: pearls
Fairflyer: diamonds
Songrider: diamonds
Glider: ???
Skyflyer: diamonds
Windwalker:???

2. Windsweeper's symbols
I have noted on my list that there appear to be two variants of Windsweeper: one with her flowers painted blue, and one whose flowers show her body color. It's hard to tell, but I can't recall seeing a non-prototype with unpainted symbols... but there has to be a reason I wrote that, right? I now think it may be a fading issue, since the painted flowers are the same hue as and only a few shades darker than her body. If you can prove me wrong, please do!

3. Songrider's hair streak
Almost everywhere has it listed as fading pink, so I just kind of accepted it. That is, until I saw that Ghost of the Doll had it listed as white! Surely they were just referencing a faded one, right? But digging upon digging didn't yield pics of any that were definitely still pink. There are a few which have a faint pink tint, but who's to say it isn't coming from the rest of her hair? Dream Beauties didn't have any backcard art or media appearances, so that's not something to go off of. Can anyone show me a Songrider with a pink streak? If not, I'll have to assume it's always been white!

4. Prototypes
Does anybody here own or know anything about  the prototypes? I desperately want info about a certain one especially: the Showtime Beauty shown on the back of the box. Even a good scan of said box will make me happy! Here's what I wrote about her in the prototype section of my list:
"A prototype version of Spritzy’s pose also appears, with smaller eyes and less muscle definition. It is possible that this was the first pose created, but there is little evidence to support this other than the difference in style."
"On the back of the box, a Showtime Beauty is shown in Spritzy’s pose. Her saddle is decorated with tassels and daisies. She has a short forelock. Her color scheme is similar to Mayfair’s. She has smaller eyes than a normal Dream Beauty.
The fact that this pony’s mold was based on the early Spritzy pose is the most likely reason it was never used; it would look out of place among released ponies. Most likely, it would have taken too much effort to recreate it in the new style to make it worthwhile. The presence of a third Showtime Beauty mold suggests this set originally consisted of three ponies, but without a third unique color scheme, it remains unproven. (And no, I don’t count proto-Circle Dancer’s color scheme as unique, as it was clearly reworked into her current one.)
The possibility of a third Showtime Beauty raises the possibility that there were initially only three Sweet Perfume Beauties, making these sets contain the same amount as every other set. Which Sweet Perfume Beauty is the “extra” will likely remain unknown; however, Colorglow and Songrider seem like the most likely candidates. Not only are they the only Dream Beauty setmates to share a pose, but they also share this pose with Mayfair.
With this third Showtime Beauty in mind, it is possible that Mayfair’s color scheme was intended for this unused pose, and Mayfair herself originally had a different color scheme (perhaps the colors of the “extra” Sweet Perfume Beauty?) that has yet to be seen on her mold. Assuming this was the case, the name “Mayfair” may not have been intended for her color scheme at all, but the pose. This would leave the prototype pony nameless."

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Pony Corral / Japanese Newborn Plushies- Do they exist?
« on: October 07, 2020, 04:24:54 AM »
Okay, I haven't been here in forever. I think my last post was from when I was seventeen! I'm doing well; I just have a tendency to disappear.

I will obsess over small things off and on and kind of go wherever the metaphorical wind takes me. Pony has been front-and-center in my life all this time, but the Arena was a thing that came and went. I probably won't be too active on here after this, but this is burning me up inside! So I should probably get to the point.

Firstly, many of the aforementioned small details that I obsess over are pony-related. I will just get in the mood where I have to know everything there is to know about, say, the G3 CDs released with a mixture of original songs, songs from movies, and classic kids' songs. In this state, I end up falling down rabbit holes and sometimes finding information that I deem irrelevant in the moment but never truly forget. That's what happened at some unknown point a few years ago when I SWEAR I saw something that I've yet to find again. I'm only bringing this up now that I absolutely need to document every G3.5 plush pony ever released and can find no mention or images of this thing I remember so clearly.

As the title suggests, they're Japanese UFO Catcher plushies using the newborn pony design from late G3. I don't even know if these ARE G3.5, but what's more important now is that I prove they exist. I believe the photo was on a blog that existed during G3 and at least a little bit into G3.5. If so, I was reading these posts from the perspective of someone who watched these things unfold to get useless fascinating info such as how these things were received by them specifically (it'll prove useful later on, I'm sure) and just stumbled upon the pic in question. It was of the plushies in a machine, looking eager to be won.

As for the plushies themselves, I don't remember which characters were featured, but I DO know they had an attached box of tissues (which I remember thinking was quite bizarre) in their hands. They may have been Valentine's Day themed, or perhaps another holiday. And they were all plush, unlike So Softs with their vinyl heads, but were in the same sitting-up pose. There were four of them in the machine, I think. It's fuzzy. They have many factors contributing to potential scarcity, so it doesn't surprise me that info is hard to come by. I'm just surprised I can't find any at all!

Does anybody have these or evidence that can prove to me I didn't hallucinate them, perhaps even the very image I saw? I'm losing my mind here! (Also I will apologize for the novel; brevity is not my strong suit!)

TL;DR: Japanese Newborn Tissue Box Plushies- Real or Hallucination?

Customs / Cutting G3/3.5 McD's tails off? And poking more plugs?
« on: October 19, 2014, 01:35:56 PM »
I have a couple McDonald's ponies that I want to customize. I want a brushable tail, but don't know what to use to cut the molded one off (or form a hole). I also want one to have a thick mane, so I want to poke many new plugs for it. Are there any good tutorials?

Pony Corral / Mommy Charms?
« on: October 17, 2014, 08:28:43 PM »
Recently "discovered" these; I was aware that they existed, and of what they were, and even of some characters, but never paid too much attention to them. Now, I've fallen in love with these little charms. These are too cute. I might pick some up. How much do the members of the set of 20 go for in decent condition? Do any go significantly higher or lower than the average? How often do they pop up? Same for their poem. It's too cute not to own.

Another thing I'm curious about: what color are their eyes? Do they all have the same periwinkly color? If not, then what do each of them have? It's very hard to see online, since they're so small.

Also, are there any (other) variants? According to this image of the set on My Little Wiki, at least one peach Paint-a-Picture exists? http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/File:Mommy-charm-set.jpg How many are there? Are they expensive?

Thanks in advance.

Pony Corral / Tips for regluing G2 eye gems?
« on: September 27, 2014, 10:02:32 AM »
A few months ago, I decided that I needed a G2, specifically Light Heart, specifically the one that came with the Canopy Bed.

I spent $10 on a near mint one with both gems, which was too much, but I didn't care. It's actually one of my better purchases, definitely beats the $12 repainted Totsy fakie (you know, the pink one with ribbons, aka the most common?)

Well, she was shipped in pretty much a plastic baggie within a plastic baggie. No bubble wrap or anything. She has a few minor scuffs that may or may not have existed before being shipped. After receiving her, I was playing with her hair (that was intent on not laying down) and noticed that one of the gems was gone! I looked for it where I opened her, shook out the package, and didn't find it. I was really upset!

The next day, I started thinking about what to replace it with and saw something pink sparkling in the carpet near where I looked. There it was! I put it in its own baggie, making sure it was well sealed.

So basically I have a pony with a loose eye gem that needs glued. I don't know what to glue it with or how to keep it from seeping out the edges, or to keep it from going in crooked. Remember that this is Light Heart's original release so she is made of a different plastic.

Price Check Archives / PC G1 Honeysuckle
« on: September 24, 2014, 05:57:29 PM »
Thinking of purchasing one for about $4. She has visibly faded hair, but it is still nice and pink, and doesn't seem to have any major flaws other than her lack of wings. Her blush is really bright! In the pictures, it seems like she can hardly stand, but I think she is fatheaded so that could be why. She also seems to have slight head/body mismatch, but nothing too major and it may just be the lighting. It's just that I go looking for any old pony on eBay and come across a great fatheaded (not 100% on it, but looks an awful lot like it) Honeysuckle- I've decided just recently to look specifically for her!

The auction ends tomorrow, so try to be quick!

Can someone show me a comparison shot between this pose's fathead and normal? I also want to know how to temporarily attach wings if I do get her. Is she worth it?
