I am so pissed right now. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy mom's stupid dog chewed up one of my new EqG dolls I was letting my kid play with. Not even sure what to do with her any more, I'm so pissed. Was going to use her for a kid Applejack at some point, but I guess that's out of the question now. Ideas for characters with prosthetics on the right arm and leg? (Damn dog didn't even have the decency to just chew off the left leg, could have had a Hiccup EqG doll custom or something...)

I have a commission I need a white pegasus body for. Head doesn't need to be in good condition, just the body. I can go forward with a painted body if I have to, but it would be really nice if I could get my hands on a baity Blossomforth/Diamond Rose body.

After going through all the stuff to put in my sales thread, I had some stuff that I was keeping sitting out in a pile, one of them was the full MLP train set. Every time the baby walked past it, he would point at it and go "Car? Car? Car?" but I didn't want to open it just yet. But today... he finally peed on the potty! I was so excited I wanted to treat him with something, so I decided to crack it open and let him play with it. He was soooooo excited! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginHe did laps around me as I was opening it up, and at one point I said "Let's see..." and he parroted as he did his laps "Lessee! Lessee!" At first he just wanted to go "vroom vroom!" with the train cars, but after I applied all the stickers to the tracks and engine, put batteries in it, and assembled the whole thing, we showed him how it went on the tracks on its own. He screamed and cried for a while because he was scared, but after a few minutes he got used to it. He is now completely mesmerized by it, sitting on the couch holding Applebloom. I am really pleased with this set, it's super cute. Only reason I didn't take it out sooner was because I didn't have a place to put it. Looks like it's gonna chill on the coffee table now, and as long as the dogs don't get it that should be fine. Only problem is he's a little too little for some of the smaller parts, so I'm tucking them away somewhere safe. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI also finally opened my Cherry Berry, Cherry Pie, and Diamond Rose for my collection (which had been hiding away with my MIB stuff). I don't really care about most of the accessories, just the ponies and some of the pets, so if anyone needed something here feel free to ask. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

So I was at Wal-Mart at 3 AM, and apparently they had just gotten truck in. Employees were just opening a couple boxes of miniature sets (Pony Lesson Set, Groovin' Hooves Set, and Daring Pony Story Set) and there were 2 fresh boxes of Wave IX blind bags. I've been toying with this idea for a while, and now the time has come... to customize an Equestria Girls doll. My plan is to make RD into a  Pony. I was originally going to make a Vinyl Scratch or Trixie, but since Hasbro will be putting those characters out in the future, there's not much point. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginBefore I get started and tear this poor girl asunder, I'm looking for some advice. I've never worked with a ball jointed figure before, so I don't think my usual painting methods will work as well. Can I dye the body so it's slightly gray? And how would I go about doing that? Also, has anyone else had any experience dehairing these dolls? It looks like it might be a little more complicated than the ponies I'm used to.

I only recently joined the arena, but I've been selling customs for about 3 years now. I was just wondering, does anyone on here have any of mine? I sell a lot on ebay and conventions, besides the commissions I take from Deviantart and elsewhere.
If you're not sure, the bottom of one of the hooves should have "HRH" painted on it.
Just curious, and would like to see if any of them have found their way to this community.

So I have a couple baits I've had sitting around for a good long while, and I want to use them. Everything in my gallery is G4 because that's what people are always paying me to do, and in the 3 years I've been doing customs, no one has ever commissioned anything else. I really want to broaden by portfolio, just so people know that yes, I can and do other ponies. Right now, all I have is this ugly little fakie one of my coworkers gave me because they found it in a yard sale and knew I collected MLP: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd a stripped Sunny Daze bait: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAny ideas what I should do with these guys? Most of my followers are bronies, so I want to make something that might still appeal to them, maybe something based on book or video game characters. If you like my work and want to commission something with one of these baits, even better.

I found a second-wave McDonald's Rainbow Dash toy in the dirt near the curb in someone's yard in my neighborhood, her tail torn out, her wing cut off, and her left hind leg barely attached. It appeared the brave mare had lost a fight with a lawn mower. I brought her home and tried to decide what to do with her. She was beyond repair, and I had limited options as far as customization due to the lost wing. I was originally going to make her into a custom Morning Glory from Fallout Equestria, but it occurred to me that Daring Do might be a more popular choice. I know in the episode it was her other wing that was injured, but the lawn mower had already made the design decision for me. :p visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSince doing this custom, I've been wanting to find more broken or destroyed toys to bring back to life, but toys in this bad of condition usually end up in the trash, not thrift stores. So if you have or happen upon any toys in really hopelessly awful condition, please think of me and send them my way. I had so much fun with this one, I'm pretty sure this is my favorite kind of customizing job. ^^

Hello Everypony! Princess Gryph here, custom pony artist. I have been collecting ponies for years (Gen 3 is my fav) and I had always been inspired to do custom ponies, ever since I was a teenager and saw lots of artists' amazing work in the DeviantART community. But I didn't get started myself until FiM started up and the bronies swarmed the fandom. I have been an active member of the herd since Season 1, when I took advantage of my Toys-R-Us discount at work and bought some supplies to start doing customs for fun. A little practice and a few months later, I was swamped with commissions, gobbling up all my free time until it became a second job. Plus, I started making tons of new friends (and isn't that what it's all about?) I'm a mod of the Central Florida Bronies Facebook Page, and have hosted meet ups and gone to multiple events and made lots of friends within this group. I have come a long way in my crafting skills in the last three years. As much as I love the art, helping young people in my community is my real passion. I worked for a while at a runaway shelter, but right now I'm a stay-at-home mom to my 20-month-old son, who we call Fiver. I hope to get a job as a case manager one day, or maybe go back to school for my social work or clinical psychology masters. But I also love writing, and may begin to pursue that as a career option instead. Who knows. We'll see where life takes me.
