I got a mail order spike (larger eyes) in a lot and haven't decided whether to keep him or not. I think it depends on the price/trade I could get for him. He has a very faint dot between his eyes, barely visibly in person or in the photo and a small dent next to his tail. A price check would be helpful. I've never sunfaded before, but I've heard good things about the marks it removes. I have Milkweed and Tumbleweed that came to me from two different owners. Although they both have gorgeous pink hair, Tumbleweed has a pink mark on her left ear and a slightly lighter one just above that same eye. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginIt looks to me like something that she was resting against bled onto her, rather than actually being drawn on. She also has initials written on the bottom of her hooves. I wouldn't even worry about them since you can't see them on display, but since I'm thinking of sunfading her anyway, I thought I'd mention it. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI'd like to try sunfading her, but I'm nervous since I don't want to risk damaging her hair. I've heard covering her hair in aluminum foil would work, but I was wondering if, because it's such a small spot, I could sort of cover everything except that spot. Would that make her look splotchy? The other questions/answers on the Arena make it sound like turning her regularly is important to keep the color even, but I figure even if that spot gets a little paler, it will look better than the pink spot now. Any help for a sunfading newbie would be appreciated.

A quick check in with two questions. I don't actively search for ponywear, but I keep the random ones I get in lots if I don't already have them. Since I don't know much about ponywear, I figured that my Something Old, Something New that came with 4 garters was supposed to (after all, ponies have 4 legs, right? ![Big Grin ](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/lol.gif) ) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginOnce I realized my mistake, I've decided to sell along the 3 extra garters I have. I tried to search for a price, but I can't find anyone actually selling them individually (which begs the question, how and why did the previous owner end up with 3 extras? ![Wondering :wonder:](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/Think.gif) ), though I see a number of people searching for them, so they seem relatively HTF. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me an idea of a fair price. Also going though my ponywear pile, I found I have 2 similar but different headbands. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI'm nearly positive the lower one is for Great Skates, but I can't ID the top one. It's the same make/material/size as the other one, so it seems like it's definitely MLP, but it's the opposite of faded, so I don't think the darker color is just due to age. Could it be a variation? Any idea on price if it is just a normal headband or variant?

I'm slowly going through and cleaning my ponies and playsets since they've been in storage. A few of my playsets have stickers that curl up at the edges and some that are completely off. I'd like to reattach them, but I worry that glue might cause the stickers to bubble, discolor or even yellow over time. Has anyone tried any glues with success?
Does it matter what plastic they are adhering to? I ask because one of the stickers that has come off is a napkin/spoon sticker from the Sating Slipper Sweet Shoppe table, and that is clearly a different/more flexible plastic than the playsets, like the Show Stable rug stickers I'd like to reattach.

I recently got a Rock-A-Bye bed with accessories. While the accessories were all in good condition, they all smelled like moth balls, particularly the fabric ones like the slippers, blanket, and nightcap. I soaked them all in hot water and detergent, oxi-clean and hot water, sprayed them with febreeze, and the smell is definitely better, but not gone, particularly in the blanket, which is made of a really odd plasticy-felt type fabric.
Anyone have any ideas what to do to get rid of the smell?

I'm just checking on my signature. The photo should be under 60KB, but I'm not sure if the links in the text below add any (or too much) weight to the overall total.
Thanks!

I hope someone here will have an idea what some of these accessories are. They came in 3 different lots. 1. The oval blanket came with my Baby Buggy. It's the right size to fit in the bottom, but the pattern isn't like any variation of the blanket I've seen. 2. The pink "ring" thing came in a big lot on Baby Cotton Candy's foot and is the right size to fit a baby pony leg, but it looks like it is missing something that snaps on to the front. The grooming brush also came in that lot. 3. The "Ponywear" Everything in this lot seemed pony-related (MLP, enchanted horse, fashion filly, etc) - The 2 pink clips are the same design as the clip from the Perfume Palace, the red one is a heart with a line through it.
- The pink skirt might be from a later generation? I only collect G1, but it seems too big for Ember, and would be way too small for an adult but it has 2 leg straps to help it stay on so I definitely think it must be for a pony
- The white/gold lined cape. It definitely fits an adult pony, but it could easily be for a Barbie or some other doll.

Any idea if the two longer ones are for My Pretty Pony? I've included the others for size/color reference. If they are for My Pretty Pony, does anyone know how much they'd be worth? Thanks! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Hi, I'm fairly new to the forum and collecting (most of my current collection is from my childhood), and was trying to identify/match with accessories the ponies I currently do have, when I came across the fact that Candy Cane ponies are scented ponies. I knew some ponies were scented, but I missed that fact about Candy Canes (oops!), which is only important since I have Sugar Sweet. I'd love to scent her, but my problem is what I should scent her as. All the information I've found says the "ponies are scented like their names and symbols", but I guess it's tough to find a cotton candy or sugar scent that I can use on her. It got me thinking about other scented ponies, so I put together the (possibly incomplete) list below and hope that you can help fill in some of the question marks-some of them are obvious, but I included them in case I'm wrong. Maybe some of you are lucky enough to have ponies with lingering scents - the good kind, not smoke ![Wink ;)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/wink_001.gif) Also, I'd welcome suggestions on scenting techniques- what scented thing to use (essential oils? scented lotions? something else), since I know some things that work on "normal" pony bodies can discolor scented ponies. Candy Cane Ponies[/b] Lemon Treats - lemon Mint Dreams - mint Sugar Apple - apple, maybe caramel?Molasses- ginger/gingerbread?Sugar Sweet - ?Caramel Crunch - caramel? popcorn?Perfume PuffDainty Dahlia - dahlia, I'm guessing Daisy Sweet - daisy, do daisies really have a smell?Lavender Lace - lavender Red Roses - roses Sweet Lily - lily Sweet Suds - soap? Sundae BestBanana Surprise- banana CocoBerry - Chocolate?Crunch Berry - ?Peppermint Crunch- peppermint, I'm assuming Sherbert - ?Swirly Whirly- ?Sweetberry - these all seem pretty obvious Cranberry Muffins Blueberry Baskets Boysenberry Pie Cherry Treats Strawberry Surprise Raspberry Jam Any that I'm missing? Thanks!

I'm new to the Arena, but I've loved ponies ever since I was little (I'm in my 30's now). I picked the name Bibsy for the forums because that is what I called Baby Tiddley-winks when I was little and she was the first pony I ever had. I still have my original ponies and playsets (I was persuaded to give away my dream beauty and my petite ponies at some point), but have only recently started adding to my collection. I guess I'm only interested in G1 and there certainly seems to bee enough out there, that it might keep me busy for a while ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) .
