Yay! It's only my second time finding G1 ponies at a thrift store! They were in three different bags and I already had them all- but I wasn't leaving them behind! I spent a whole $4 and got: - Brilliant Blossoms - Raincurl- with her curls intact! - and sparkly baby North Star Yay! My husband was laughing at me because I was so excited!

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has any of their ponies or other collections at their workplace? If so, anyone have any pics? I personally don't, but have been debating whether or not I should bring anything in. Most people at my job (Federal government) really don't have anything too personal on their desks. I, on the other hand, have pics of my family (including my herd of animals), some random beanie babies that people have given me from work, and a whole candy area for everyone to come and snack. I also decorate during the holidays (fall/winter) and my desk becomes a bit of a "tourist attraction" at work. Most of my friends at work know I collect Care Bears, but they have no idea about the ponies. lol I really don't care what people think so that's not a factor here. I just was wondering if anyone else had any of their collections displayed for their whole office to see

So since today is my furlough day (thanks Congress) I decided it would be a great idea to rearrange my ponies. NOT SUCH A GOOD IDEA!! AHHH! I am completely overwhelmed with all of them. I decided I was going to rearrange the ponies by year of release which caused me to completely take apart the entire area where they are. Now I'm in the process of sorting them first by generation, then sorting them by pony to determine any duplicates, and then by how I want them displayed. I'm done with every generation but the G3s! There are simply too many! I have shopping bags full of them to go through... it's crazy. I have lost all motivation to even finish them today. But I'm going to go and force myself to finish because I know once I'm done it will be worth it and maybe I'll finally be happy with how my ponies are arranged. Thanks for the little time to vent

Hey all! I have a few pony brags from the last few days (I forgot to take a picture of the one set which included an SS angel!)  Here goes: From a few days ago: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSherbet, Baby Countdown, Baby Paws, Baby Tappy, Sugar Sweet, Twinkler, Silky Slipper, Brilliant Blossoms, Baby Starburst, and the seller threw in Sweet Suds! From today: I went to Target to see if they had any new ponies and I found these: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI am only missing two from the box of blind bags (of course someone beat me to find Griffin!) I love the new sparkly girls. They only had the two at Target. Hi All, So my family tries to give each other at least one random gift for Chirstmas. So this year since my dads name is Scotty (and he collects Scottie dogs) I am going to give him baby Paws So this got me thinking. My mom collects skunks... would anyone be able to do a custom skunk pony? It wouldn't have to be anything too crazy. I was just thinking either a black and white painted pony with white hair (kind like flower from Bambi) or even a pony with just a skunk symbol? I'm just trying to guage interest/price for this right now. I know I would prefer either a G1 or G3 to be used as the bait pony. This would be my first custom commission so I'm really not too sure where to begin! Thanks all!

Today my mom sent me a box of my childhood G1 ponies and some of my other childhood items! Pictures are below. Now these ponies need some serious, serious help. They were stored out in a garage for many years and have a mildew/musty smell and are rather dirty with marks, stickiness, ink, and hair issues. Anyone have any good ways to clean them up besides just a magic eraser? Any ideas how to clean up the so softs? I've never tried to fix any of my ponies hair, but since these are my childhood ponies I would love to get them in as good of condition as possible. Hi All, Even though I have a ton of ponies most of them are G3. I find myself longing for some more G1s (I just found my childhood collection and my mom is shipping it to me). Does anyone have any relatively inexpensive G1 ponies they are selling? I would prefer to buy in larger lots if possible. I don't mind issues with the ponies-- I would prefer them to have their manes (I've boughten some without tails ) I would still like the ponies to display well, but I am open to all G1s at this point! I have some ponies/pony merch to trade as well if interested. I need to go through my collection again as I kept doubles/triples last time I went through it. Thanks!

So I went a little crazy this weekend in the pony department. My husband and I hit up a few thrift stores and found a few ponies and pony items. Including a sleeping mat Then we decided to go to KMart since we don't have one in our town and found the Wave 1 (?) blind bags! I bought the whole group (minus the doubles). Good morning,
I'm new to the Arena. I consider myself a very, very novice MLP collector. I usually just pick up what I find at the thrift store, flea market, or on sale at the store . I'm more of a Care Bear collector at heart A little bit more about me-- I live in Maryland, but am from Minnesota originally. I collect Care Bear, Ponies, and Strawberry shortcake.
