I have two Bow Ties. Both are made in Hong Kong in '83. One has white bows with blue eyes and the other has pink bows with purple eyes. I was wondering why that would be. Just a different batch or something? Here are some pictures:

I know there are a few of us who would like to cosplay as MH characters or have/currently cosplay them and would want help and give advice!

I am looking into cosplaying Cleo, but while I have no sewing skills, I would love to create a Cleo-inspired outfit. I found a few items that I would love to incorporate into the outfit since I feel they would be something Cleo would wear. I would be very grateful if I could get some advice since I'm not the most knowledgeable on fashion.

The items I bought were a couple of earrings, a matching necklace to one of the pairs and a pair of leggings. I apologize for the crappy cellphone pictures:

I'm not sure what to add to the outfit. I'm also debating on which earrings to go with. Cleo wears gold so I think the gold with blue feathers would work great, but I adore the peacock earrings and necklace!

I'm sorry if this is such a silly question, but I needed to ask this before I did anything. I tried finding a topic on this, but I couldn't find one that answered my question. I have some ponies with heads that are completely sealed. Specifically, I have a Whizzer that may have tail rust, but it's hard to tell so I was going to pop her head off to see if she indeed does have tail rust. I don't want to if it devalues her and it indeed turned out she did not have tail rust. Thanks!

A few days ago, my boyfriend and I were looking through craigslist and my boyfriend found a listing for some awesome ponies! It was a complete set of the Party Gift Pack minus one hair ribbon. It even came with the box! I also got Megan and Sundance! There are a few flaws with the accessories like Megan's underwear is coming apart as well as Sundance's reins. I also got Baby Fifi with her accessories and Cool Breeze with her wings! The ponies are in decent condition and could use some TLC, but overall I feel it was very worth the $40! I had the Party Gift Pack as a child and it's so nice to have it again! Here are some pictures!

I am super happy with what I got! I can't wait to clean up the ponies and make their manes and tails super pretty!

My collection has grown a ton over the last few months! I am super happy with what I have found at antique/collectibles stores, flea markets and thrift stores. I have yet to clean them up and tame their manes, but I'm hoping to do so before Thanksgiving.

A few months ago I went to this place called the Volo Antique Mall. I ended up finding Beach Ball and Buzzer with wings! A month or so later I found Wigwam at the same booth I found Beach Ball and Buzzer.

My boyfriend and I went to a couple of antique malls in Northern Illinois that are pretty big. The first one was a miss, but the second one we went to was a hit! It had more collectible items rather than antiques. While there weren't many MLP items, the two I found made me super happy! I found the Pony Show Stable and a So Soft Shady! The Show Stable had a few of the accessories. I couldn't pass it up!

About a month ago someone found a couple of G1s at this shop in Chicago, when they told me what store it was, I made plans to go down there and see what they got. I came back with Sky Dancer, Peachy, Butterscotch, Brush n' Grow Curly Locks, Mommy Sweet Celebrations, BBE Baby Half Note and a Blue Baby Ember!

I went to this other flea market and got a G2 Ivy. The lady says she has some buckets full of ponies and that she would bring them when she goes to her storage lockers and finds them. I'm hoping to go back next week to see what she has.

My most recent purchase was at a Toy Fair a few weeks ago. The person had lots of G3s and G1s and I picked out the best looking G1s that I didn't have. Some of the ponies looked beyond restoration so I bought the ones that would be easy to clean up. The ponies I ended up getting were Baby Shady, Baby Heart Throb, Dance n' Prance Twirler, Whizzer, Banana Surprise, Sprinkles, Speedy, Pony Bride, Scoops, Sundance, So Soft Sundance, Starshine, Windy, Posey, Coco Berry, Baby Cuddles, Christmas Baby Pony and Baby Frosting. I saw some other people with G1s, but the prices were a little high for me. I did see one of the Birth Flower ponies though!
