Hi everyone!

I'm looking to buy a bunch of brushable G4 ponies for custom bait. As such, I really don't want to pay more than $1-$2 per pony. They can be in any shape; haircuts, paints rubs, scratches are all fine. Really need pegasus ponies and earth ponies, but unicorns are good too. I might be willing to pay a little more for princess molds and/or Shining Armor molds.

I would like to buy as many as possible from one person in order to save on shipping costs, so if you have a bunch of baity G4s, please contact me!

So, it looks like I WILL be getting a table at Anime Central this year and I'd really like to sell custom G4 ponies there in addition to my custom G1s and G3s. The problem? I have no G4 baits!

So, I am looking for loose, brushable G4s. Just the normal ones, not the ones with huge plastic wings or molded saddles. Condition unimportant since I will be painting/dyeing/rehairing/etc. I particularly need pegasus ponies, preferably without the sad-eye mold that Fluttershy has. But it's negotiable since I can easily paint over it.

I would also be interested in loose blind bags of boys, princesses, the pinkie mold, and the twilight mold. Not sparkly or metallic since those a pain to paint over.

I'd also like maybe one or two fashion style ponies, preferably unicorns, but I'm open to any.

I am hoping to buy a fair amount from just one person since I am trying to keep the costs of my materials down, preferably paying about $3 a pony or less for the brushables. $2 or so each for blindbags. Up to $8 for a Fashion Style.

U.S. Sellers only please since the cost of shipping is something I'd like to keep down too.

So, my childhood Paradise is in REALLY rough shape. I want to deflock her but my previous reflocking attempts did not go well.  I've already taken her apart and taken her hair out, but I don't want to deflock her myself.

So... I'm looking for someone I can mail her to for deflocking and have her mailed back to me so I can rehair her.

Does anyone offer this kind of service? And how much would you charge?

1. You must have 5 5-star arena feedback and no 1/2-star arena feedback.

2. You must have been an arena member for at least 3 months before sign ups are over.

3. You must have pictures of at least 3 of your most recent customs and/or re-hairs to show the quality of your work. This is a skill based swap and I need to know how to pair you.

4. Along with your sign up, you must send a list of 20-25 ponies that you would love to see with spanking new hair. Please try to stick to ponies that are relatively common and likely to already be in someone's bait box, or at least easy to find on the secondhand market. A word on value: Do not ask for a re-haired Mimic, you know better than that. Keep the ponies you suggest valued at roughly $15-$20 or less in good condition. If you want to do more than one pony, yay! If you don't want to do more than one pony, that's fine too! This is where this is a little more like a Holiday Swap than a custom swap in that you can do as many as you want while staying around $15-$20 or less spend on the baits.

4a. If you want to alter symbols, fix flaws, etc. Go right ahead. The main point is that we should still be able to tell who the pony was originally. Making Applejack's apple red or green is fine. Changing them completely to oranges, not so much. That being said, you do not HAVE to do anything but re-hair. If you want to have more than one partner (ie - guarantee that you receive more than one re-haired pony), let me know and I will enter you twice.

5. Ship on time! Life happens, as we all know. Let me know as SOON as you realize you will be shipping late.

6. No shipping early! Shipping addresses will be withheld to prevent this. The exception will be when your partner is ready to ship as well.

7. Be prepared with progress pics at progress date. Since this is an alternate rehair swap and not a typical custom swap, the dates are a little, shall we say, faster than the usual custom swap.

8. Send me pictures of your completed re-hair before you ship.

9. Let me know right away when you ship your pony and when you receive one.

10. Do not let anyone know who your partner is. It is a secret.

11. Extras are not required, but are welcome. However, do not go overboard with these. This is about the ponies. A small treat/gift or 2 is fine and good but not too much.

12. This swap is mainly a G1-swap. Be mindful of that when listing ponies you would like to see re-haired. Having a few G3s or G4s in the mix is OK, but the list should be primarily G1s.

13. You must be in no more than 2 other swaps (total of 3).

14. The title of your PM should be Legolas, so I know you read the rules.

15. PM the sign up form to me (red_velvet_rose) by the sign up deadline.

16. You must check in for the final check in. If you do not check in, I do not give you the address of your partner, nor will you be receiving a pony.

17. You need to be able to produce proof of shipping when asked. You need to hold onto your receipt until your partner confirms that they have received their pony. I also highly recommend delivery confirmation for those not shipping internationally.

So, for those who don't know, C2E2 is the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. Sort of the Midwest's answer to San Diego Comic Con. I got to go for Sunday only this year, but what a Sunday!

Squee! I *had* to get the Fluttershy shirt since I adore her and her tiny, little yay! My girlfriend got the brony shirt and the Pony bag for her 13 year old son (total brony and so proud of it!).  That huge back drop is actually a big shopping bag that we got for free for buying the shirts and Pony bag. It's HUGE! I plan on using it for a laundry bag.

They are all from www.welovefine.com if anyone's interested in checking out their stuff. They had some GORGEOUS art-deco style pony shirts and art prints, Pony shirts, Lyra shirts, Dr. Whooves shorts, everything. I was spoiled for choice!

You can also see my I Love My Library pin. A sheet of magnets and a coffee mug from the Chicago Red Eye (which is a free daily paper here in Chi-Town).  There was also a stand giving away free books, so I got Laurell K. Hamilton's Harlequin and three old pulp fantasy novels.

And you can see a cupcake in a plastic container there, which needs some explanation.

The entire reason I got to go at all is because I (and my girlfriemd) are both huge Lord of the Rings fans and Sean Astin (who played Samwise Gamgee, as well as Rudy in Rudy, and Mikey in Goonies) was there. I bought this cupcake from Bleeding Heart Bakery ( a local punk-rock balery that specializes in vegan and local, sustainable ingredients). And then we went to see Sean. Sean, having worked with my girlfriend before on several charity events, recognized her and actually got up to hug us both. He was so happy to see us! While we were talking to him, he asked for my cupcake and signed the top of the container to be funny. (Considering it was actually supposed to be $40 to have things signed, this surprised me!) I carried that cupcake around with me all through the convention!  (Finally ate it when I got home and it was delicious. I'll be keeping the container and using it as a protective case for a little Sam Gamgee figure I have.)

All in all, major fun!

So I went to work yesterday morning despite having a raging headache. I took some tylenol, but by 11 o'clock I was ready to tear my eyes out. My boss was nice enough to let me go home at 12 instead of making me tough it out until 4:30. Naturally, by the time I got home, my headache was gone. So, with some time to kill, I called my girlfriend to see if maybe we could go on a little trek to Toys "R" Us. The closest one to us is tiny and has almost no ponies, so I wanted to drive further out to the big TRU in Niles.  She said sure and we headed out there. Truthfully, I wasn't expecting much.

But i managed to come out with a great haul!

I got the gift pack of blind-bag-sized ponies. And I found Diamond Rose and Cherry Pie. There were a bunch of blind bags, so I got three for myself, one for my girlfriend's daughter who was with us (she wanted Pinkie), and one for her son who is turning 13 this week (he wanted Rainbow Dash). I also bought him the Rainbow Dash that comes with a scooter and her little pet turtle. My blind bags turned out to be Rose Luck, Sugar Grapes, and Firecracker Burst. I also got the school pack with Cherilee, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo!

I'll post pics this afternoon when I get home.
