Anyone want to be friends on there? I’m filling up fast since I’ve been adding people from my virtual running group, but I still have room.

These two seem to not be showing up locally, and if I could avoid Ebay  inflation cost that would be great. If anyone has some extras.

There is a local husky breeder I’ve followed since last year and have wanted a pup. The last five months she has had one of the girls from her first litter looking for a home. Nyx will be three in Sept, so she isn’t just a young little pup. I had been staring at her a while on and off debating an older dog. I decided to give it a try and she is living here on a trial bases to see if she gets along with my girls. Right now she is very nervous and clingy to me, but she was taken away from her home where she was born. I could see being nervous. She has refused to eat just yet though so trying to coax her. She seems like such a sweet girl I want her to work out here.

Anyway she is apparently wooly or plush? Whatever you call it, so this is her summer coat after blowing her winter one. She is still a fluff ball. I did get kisses this morning, so that’s a positive step right?

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Reccomend some PS4 games?
« on: June 11, 2018, 01:03:26 AM »
I used to play games all the time, but when I got my divorce years ago and my ex wife took half the game collection I had I lost any joy in it. I used to have cabinets full and hadn’t even gotten the new systems part my OS3, Xbox360, and Wii. I finally got a PS4, and I’m so behind the times I was wondering about game recommendations?

I typically prefer dark, horror, and psychologically terrifying stuff. I’m not a fan of ones that have a lot of room elements or excessive quests. That being said I have a few I like such as KH I always loved. Anyway, what are your favorites or ones you think I might like?

Since I like scary stuff please don’t post links to anything against the rules of course or include content that isn’t acceptable. :) I’m off for the summer and so some games to entertain me when I’m at home and it reasons would be appreciated.

Pony Corral / Summer photo contest
« on: May 08, 2017, 07:51:54 AM »

Welcome to the Summer photo contest!
The photo contest is simple, following the guidelines you will need to submit a photo involving your ponies in some way having summer fun, or I know many people like myself have summer birthdays. You're ponies can be having a fun birthday part as well

generation of pony doesn't matter, so it's open to G1-G4 and fakies can participate as well. I'll keep it all short and sweet for everyone.

Rules
-You may submit one photo for the contest. You're allowed to take extra angles of the set up that you've -created, to show off details but only one main photo to be submitted. You're allowed to edit your photo or change it till the contest cut off.  If you change it you must edit your original submission post. I cannot chase submissions all over the thread.
-The photo must include MLP but can have other toys ect included. Ponies should be the stars of it
-It must fall into one of the following themes: summer fun(pools, beaches etc.), party fun (birthday or other just no like drunk inappropriate pony parties), or even pony traveling/vacation to different areas. Feel free to ask if you have an idea and are unsure if it fits.
-must follow TOS of the arena
-Keeping the above in mind in order to receive a prize you must be within the age and trade limits given on the Arena
-Post your photos here in a spoiler and all will be put together at the end

Time Frame
open for entries- May 8- Aug 8 (closing on my b day just because)
Judging- Around three days needed
winner will be announced after that & prize shipped (note I'm a slow shipper)

How the judging works
A poll will be placed on the arena for members to pick their favorite. The favorite Arena pick will be crowned the winner and receive a prize.

Prize
The prize will be a G1 80's pattern plushie by myself with some modifications to the pattern. The winner will have the choice of picking a plush from what is currently made by the time of contests end.  It all depends on what I have done by contest end. The plush prize is not a commission prize, but a choice of what I have in stock. Sorry, I'm booked up on request of sewing projects right now for others. ;)

Here is a link to my plushies as an example of what you would receive
-Plushies come from a non smoking but pet home. They are made from fleece or fleece like products, yarn hair, fabric painted eyes and mouths with felt hand sewn on symbols and parts of the eyes. They include a foam board in their feet and while I would think they are durable I'm not sure how well they will stand up to rough play or excessive washing. They were made for display. Because of the nature of the plushies and time it takes me to make one there will only be a first prize winner for this contest.

Note: I will now have to use a strong fabric glue to attach symbols and eyes. My carpal tunnel has become severe enough to restrict my sewing by hand even with braces on.

The prize is free shipping within the U.S. (I will ship the cheapest method possible. If you wish for extra things like insurance and tracking ect that will need to be covered by the winner)

If outside the U.S. the winner will have to either pay for shipping or pay the difference of shipping outside the states. Sorry! I typically cover it all myself, but it's hard to get my plushies in a box other than a 12x12x12 without having to smash them. Boxes that size do cost more in shipping than the smaller parcels I was able to send in contests past.

Off Topic / Ferrets have taken over!
« on: May 06, 2017, 06:17:15 PM »
Hello all!

I sort of fell off the forums since the start of the year, but lots of life stuff and such including an increase in the animal family. I never realized how these little creatures could weasel(lol) into my heart like they have, but they sure have managed. I've even oddly enough joined a few ferret gift exchange groups and ran into people locally that are also ferrants. We have started having little get togethers and hoping to meet more people. I might be traveling this summer to get a ferret/Polecat hybrid if I'm lucky. :lookround:

Anyway, here are the babies and some I've posted about before. First is Noodle (marker white). He is the one I got around early Nov that had been starved and abused. Unfortunately he has insulinoma and there isn't much for him minus taking his meds and living his life till it's time to say goodbye. Despite being the oldest and weakest he is king of the ferret business and even my biggest ferret doesn't mess with him. He runs funny due to his previous abuse and the insulinoma, but he still runs, plays, demands to be rocked and then passes out. The one next to him is actually the last one I took in and named Kovu. He is the dark sable. He came from the same place is Noodle and is much younger and also sadly has insulinoma. I was told when I got Noodle he didn't have cage mate but then this guy surfaced from the same person a few months ago and they automatically have stuck together like glue. I'm glad they are together again . Kovu is so sweet and you can pick him up and carry him just about anywhere. I've started taking him places with me. He was supposed to be a rescue and I was going to foster and rehome him. That didn't turn out since he has never left. lol I cannot foster!

Ollie is my big boy that originally I saw pics of a small young ferret needing to be homed. I thought I was picking up a baby but when I got there he was a very hungry(on bad food) underweight two year old that was very smelly and had urninary tract infection. He is doing much better now and probably the least affectionate of my babies minus jumping out of his ball pit and chomping. He is named Ollivander but Ollie works easier

Finally the girls Bella(Bellatrix) and Tonks. Bella is the panda and Tonks is the sable. They have blown their winter coats and lost their cute winter bellies. They were actually well taken care of and are only like a year old. Their owner just could no longer spend time with them. I adore the girls but of course love all my babies. Anyway, yep ferrets along with the rest of my crew have stolen the spotlight over pony love. Not to mention ponies my big Clyde girl Nevada turned 2 this week! I'll have to post pictures of her birthday party.

Don't worry she didn't eat it just tore up something and had to take it away. They have a happy life now and their own room to run in.

Arts & Crafts Corral / A good fabric glue?
« on: April 29, 2017, 03:19:01 AM »
I've always with the symbols I do on my plushies hand stitched in the felt, but my carpal tunnel hates it now. Is there a good fabric glue that will work for these and one that can actually stand up to being washed?

And unfortunately it won't let me upload the video of them running, dooking and war dancing so here is just a shot. Ignore the messy floor it was my craft room and turning it into a room for the girls to play in.

The doctor gave the ok to get Noodle some friends and these girls popped up earlier in the week. They looked too cute and sweet not to get. My phone is being awful and won't let me post videos of them playing and running.

I'm only letting everyone sniff through bars till the girls see the vet and get their shots. They look pretty healthy. Poor Noodle has been cuddling me a lot and I guess he is worried about being replaced? Also, having such big healthy girls shoes just how bad Noodles condition is to me. I know he is constantly improving but wish his owner had loved him properly.

update

Getting to know the girls I can say the panda is more vicious and a little more difficult to warm up to people. I would like to give her a slytherin fitting name.

The sable is more sneaky and smart enough to get in trouble.i would like to give her a Ravenclaw name. Any suggestions would be great.

This is kinda sad to admit but my ferret has hid my phone somewhere in the house because my case is shiny, and I cannot find it.

My cats broke my laptop so a month or so ago I got a really nice newer iPhone to do all my online stuff with. Right now I'm borrowing my mother's phone to post this and I'll continue to look for mine. Unfortunately it's showing up offline and I think the battery is dead, so I cannot track it. I'll be back soon as I find it or give up and pay the insurance to replace it which I don't want to do since of course Christmas = no extra money.

Anyway I know I'm in some swaps so here is a quick rundown since I'm in a rush I posted my brag for the ornament swap and need to leave feedback. I received my pet swap gift and need to post a brag and leave feedback. I've received some of my card swap cards and need to post a picture and message the list of the ones I've received. Hopefully it will just take me a day or two to resolve the issue. I'm sorry!  Mods if you need me you can on me but if someone in particular that is a mod (that I can trust with a phone number if necessary in an emergency) I can do that if you absolutely need me. All my swap boxes and cards on my end have been sent so other than that I think I'm clear. Sorry everyone!

I should be back before my photo contest ends so you guys still feel free to post pictures to the contest and bump it.

Thanks everyone for understanding. I unfortunately forgot that ferrets like the rats like to steal things and made the mistake of leaving my phone with him. Stupid ferret making long distance calls and what not. :pout:

Post Merge: December 18, 2016, 03:31:15 PM

Never mind. We have been hunting my phone for almost five hours and soon as I posted this mom found his stash. He acts so innocent and cute about it and just curled up to us licking our fingers.

Off Topic / Omg omg so excited!
« on: December 09, 2016, 08:52:25 PM »
I know I posted about her before but made friends with someone that owns Nevada's half brother. We chat on and off pretty often and she intends to go to the world Clyde show with Nevada's brother in 2018 and wants me to go with her and bring Nevada to show. I just about died earlier as I'm just an old barrel racer and know nothing about formal showing like this, but I was over the moon. It's the biggest show for clydes in the U.S. And will have tons of the top breeders from all over. I don't know even if we work our butts off if we have s chance to place since st her age she would do halter and while lovely she has some conformation flaws. I'm so excited though and told her that if she is serious I'm more than willing to get my butt in gear and train. Can you imagine? My girl at such a big show, to even go would be amazing seeing all those beautiful clydesdales.
