The Horseland MMO game has been retired: https://www.horseland.com/ That was one of the first games I got into when I first got a computer in 2006. Played both the original and junior accounts, then just the original after jr. was retired (liked playing the jr more than the original). when they changed the coin system and made everything more expensive, and harder to get coins, I lost interest in it. I would check in every so often. Just tried it and saw the message. I also watched the cartoon, and have both sets of the horse figures. [moving to Games Cupboard ~ Kiwi]

We have reached peak bootleg with this actual carousel you can buy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyQp2BLwcmEIt's pretty obvious Hasbro didn't give them the OK to do it. They may have used some fanart on it too. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

As you might know, this is the last year for the biggest brony convention, and so they're going all out for it. Their final guest announcement is Bonnie. The 4th time she's appeared at one of these cons. Lauren will be there too (the 2nd time they have been at the same con). Bronycon goes to where it all began with Bonnie Zacherle
(BALTIMORE) - It’s a bittersweet day here at BronyCon HQ as we celebrate the eighth anniversary of our first event and are announcing our final special agent for our final mission this August. Knowing the weight this announcement carries we wanted to bring in someone important to My Little Pony fans from all over the world. In fact, without this special agent’s creativity and vision, none of the missions in our long history would have ever been possible. On this special day, BronyCon is honored to announce Bonnie Zacherle as our final Guest of Honor for 2019!
This will be Zacherle’s first ever visit to BronyCon. She is best known as the original creator of My Little Pony, and its precursor, My Pretty Pony, while working at Hasbro in the early 1980s. The properties were inspired by Zacherle’s childhood memories of horses and horse riding. Her career also includes working on a redesign of Mr. Potato Head, as well as working on the Nerfuls toy line for Parker Brothers. After that, she opened a studio with her Hasbro colleague Liz Knight in a converted barn in Massachusetts which focused on freelance work, design, and consultation services.
Zacherle was honored in 2013 at the first annual My Little Pony Fair by being the first inductee into the My Little Pony Hall of Fame. Currently, Zacherle lives in Virginia where she teaches art to children.

Took a look at mine for the first time in ages, and she looks a little different than when I bought her several years ago: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWhat are the dark spots, and why did the head discolor so much? and what would be the way to fix it? Guess I need to go through my others and see if any have the same problems.

So LoE had their version of the Grand Galloping Gala Saturday. And this time there was an actual hall for it to take part in (added in an update last year). It started with an airshow by the Wind Riders (the new non copyrighted version of the Wonderbolts. There's also the Wind Howlers which is the Shadowbolts counterpart) that I took part in with my OC "Nightshade" (I'm a member of the group that puts on airshows). Then there was a march to the gala hall complete with a LoE version of At the Gala, then the gala itself. Here's a video of the airshow and parade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6Dk3vZnvQcAnd some pic's: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy OC Chrome Thunder is the gray pony in the center (I have 6 characters on the game): visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy Dahlia Hawthorne character: visitors can't see pics , please register or login Some people seem to think the game is dying, but it's not. It's just quiet most of the time. Altogether there were 101 players online for the event. More than last years.

So I had My Little Plush on Deviantart make this for me: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe stands just shy of 16" (to tip of horn) and weighs quite a bit. Probably because she has a wire frame that allows posing. I recently made Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker radio control trucks, and though I had an Onlyfactory NMM plushie, I didn't have a Daybreaker one to go with them, and with G4 almost over, I decided now was the time to commission a plushie for the first (and probably last) time. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginhttps://www.deviantart.com/lonewolf3878/art/Daybreaker-Radio-Control-Pickup-798136653visitors can't see pics , please register or loginhttps://www.deviantart.com/lonewolf3878/art/Nightmare-Moon-Radio-Control-Pickup-798133690

A couple months ago I got me a blue light saber (from Ultra Sabers) at Planet Comicon in Kansas City, and I wanted to see what it looked like in the dark, so that night I took it into the room where the bulk of my pony collection is and turned it on, and to my surprise my shelves lit up with glowing pony hair and some ponies themselves. Examples from G1, 3, and 4 did it. The yellows were the brightest, but red and orange also glowed while everything else remained blue: visitors can't see pics , please register or login I decided to group all of them together and try getting a pic'. Unfortunately the oranges and reds don't show up that good even with enhancement: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginWhat surprised me was this was blue LED light instead of blacklight. Now I want to get one to see if it makes them glow even further. Anyone else try this with their collections?

It's that season again, and I went to a few in my town. At the last one I found a bookhorse plushie for a buck. Didn't even realize until I got it home it was a Build A Bear one (I thought it was one of the cheap ones). The hair was a bit matted but I got it brushed out a bit (it may have been cut a bit too). It has the sound module, but the battery is dead. With G4 at 9 years old we'll be seeing more and more stuff pop up at sales. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

As is usually the case, I have a bad habit of getting the IDW MLP comics in batches every few months instead of getting the new ones every time. I got a bunch today (from 3 places). While I was looking for the new ones in one Ebay store, I saw some G1 "annuals". Intrigued I got a couple (the 87' was $5.50 and the 94' was $3.50). Was expecting something comic related, but they are more like a comp of short stories. The 87' is the best one. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

HarmonyCon in Dallas happened over the weekend, and I attended it (here's a write up): https://www.deviantart.com/lonewolf3878/journal/HarmonyCon-2019-785294030Didn't get too much, mainly because I decided to get this $50 Coloratura custom from SanadaOoakmai (3rd time I've gotten one of hers). visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe other stuff, including having Elley Ray (VA of Mistmane in FiM) autograph one of my R/C trucks which she loved and even tweeted pic's of). visitors can't see pics , please register or loginOverall was an awesome 1st year con (aside from some @$#% calling a false bomb/hostage threat in that caused the entire hotel to be evacuated).

I's been a wille... wyle.... while... since I've done a brushable custom, so instead of another general thread for mine, I'm making a post for this one of a chatty character from FiM. I still have to put the hair on: Spoiler visitors can't see pics , please register or loginStarted as a Rarity brushable. I trimmed down the horn, put 2 pieces of wire through it along with the tips of the ears, then used Sculpt It and body putty for models to make the horn and modify the ears. Also used this for the hair on the front legs. For the hair: I heated a needle and put new holes into the back legs and neck (at a down angle so it's easier to boil perm it). I'll have to curl it also. As for the tail: I'm going to try installing it, then using super glue, make the first half of it solid, leaving the end loose. Will cover the hardened part of the tail with body putty to smooth it. I did plug the old hole and make a new one as I felt it was just too low (though hers is like that on the show). I drew the scale lines out on the base coat of the scale color, then hand painted the darker color over the lines. Only time will tell if I can pull this off.
