Pony Brag Arena / Feeling good
« on: February 15, 2018, 07:27:15 PM »
It is not a new brag, but...I have been out of the pony buying loop for 3 years....I had to sell most of my collection, G1s and almost all my G3s when I dropped out of the scene, but I managed to keep some that I never sold. So this is a brag to just say, these are the special ones I got to hang onto. My favorites I still have...

Pony Corral / Just a strange question
« on: February 14, 2015, 05:29:57 PM »
I was talking with someone today about diva G3s, and I have a Mib Diva Tink-a-tink-a-too. Which made me think something....Does anyone else have one MIB or know of someone with one MIB?

Weird thought, because I cannot find any pictures of her mib except the one on the wiki which is mine, any other proud owners of a MIB Tink-a-too?

Trader & Shipping Support / Need USPS insurance help Non-Pony Related
« on: December 13, 2014, 03:19:53 PM »
I recently sold my broke laptop on ebay for parts. Everything worked on it except the motherboard had gone out in it. A guy did a BIN for $65 on the item. I packaged it in a laptop box with clamshells that floated the laptop and I believe it was packaged securely enough to ship through the mail, and for good measure marked all over handle with care. I also took pictures of it as packaged in the box. It was shipped priority through ebay, which is covered with up to $100 worth of insurance.

Needless to say it made it to the buyer, but the screen got cracked. The rest of the laptop is fine. Ok, so it is covered with insurance, but now what? Do I tell the buyer he should file a claim or do I file the claim and have the funds sent to the buyer (it has that option on the online form)? If USPS asks for the item once the claim is through, the buyer has it, and I read on USPS website that the item should not be reshipped. My concern then is what to do if the buyer tries to file a claim with ebay after USPS claim is started?

I was there to buy my daughter some clothes, and was not even going to look at the toy section because there are never MLP, just fakies...but of course the kids ran to the toy section and what did I find when glancing around? A bin full of ponies!!! The owner said they just got them in! lol!

Good news....hubby got a job....bad news, We need to get him a vehicle in order to get to said job when I am working too. I have the money to get a used, beat up truck that will last for a while, but it will leave me strapped for 2 weeks until pay day. I am asking a family member to loan me some money, but if that doesn't pan out then I may need to sell, and I want to get an idea of what combo will do so.

Mimic-she has her original ribbon and brush. Small bit of twinkle is missing from one of her eyes, but hard to even notice as it is so small. Still very green and her mane/tail stripes are still pink.

« on: October 27, 2014, 06:15:39 AM »
I am looking at possibly selling some ponies to help (in some small way) hubby raise money for a car. I am looking at selling some ponies that I may want an upgrade for and was thinking about two of my so softs....but then I was wondering how likely it would be to find another one in great shape....I am worried that I will not be able to find one as nice, and I get picky about SS ponies....So...

How likely am I to find an upgrade to these two? Also, may get a PC on them in their condition if I do sell them?

SS Angel- Very clean, has rubbing to her face, but that is it, the hair had a lot of wave to it from her original curls, so I reformed them.

SS Satin N' Lace
Original Curl, very pink hair. Rubbing to saddle are (where a child would have place their hand to hold her) and a bit to feet and ear tips.

Off Topic / Any advice on buying/Selling a house
« on: August 29, 2014, 07:29:18 AM »
Ok back story:
I am currently living in a house that is 936 sq feet with 3 bedrooms and a full basement. It is me, my husband and two daughters, my husband's sister is staying here too and occasionally my husband's uncle. The city I live in, I cannot stand very much. Pretty much, if you are here they tell you don't stay in the North, South, Central, or East side because they are not very nice places to be....so only the West side is ok. There is always someone getting shot or stabbed everyday it seems like. So guess what, I want to move.

I want  to move back to my home town 3 hours away from here. The area is nicer, hardly any crime. The school systems are waaaaayyyyy better and the price for house and land is cheaper and you get more land and sq footage. I also pretty much have a job offer for about $4 more an hour down there, I told the interviewer that I needed a 3-5 months to get in a position to move and the lady told me to call her when I am ready to move down there as she will have some openings. My husband wants to also get back in the work force as now both girls are starting school, which supplements our income.

So We are trying to fix up the few little things that need done and sell this house. But here is the thing. I really don't have Down payment money unless this house sells. So what can I do?

Truthfully our house is the nicest on the block as far as interior. Everything was updated in 2009, with new siding this year. We are also wanting to add a new front porch prior to selling and the back yard has raised garden beds, fruit bushes and rose bushes that we put in.

I contacted a mortgage lender through our bank to work on pre-approval for the home loan to see what we can get, but he is not responding to me or my questions, so I am going to have to get a new person, which I am miffed about because he pulled our credit scores and stuff.

I have not talked to a Realtor yet as we are trying to finish up the little things with this house.

So enough rambling, does anyone have good advice?

Customs / *update* Gypsy Vanner Replica
« on: July 31, 2014, 06:13:38 PM »
Been working on this for a couple weeks...

I started seeing posts on my facebook feed about this breed of horse, and I instantly fell in love with them....
Then, I heard about the first USA registered Gypsy Vanner passing here recently in July, so I decided to make a custom of the horse to send to the farm as a condolence....
