Glitch was a really amazing, inventive, magical game which was, sadly, shut down last winter due to lack of funds for the team to keep it running. (It was free to play; real money was only useful for outfits and decorations for your house, and they would have needed something like $500,000 a month to keep it going as it was.)

There was gorgeous scenery, beautiful, beautiful music, inventive storylines and quests, and most of all, an absolutely wonderful community. My first day in-game I was so shocked. People greeted me whenever I entered an area, welcomed me to the game, and gave me a bunch of special items to help me out. And best of all, Glitch rewarded its players for helping each other. Working together always yielded better results.

It was literally a game of imagination and ridiculousness and I miss it so often. I pitched in on indiegogo for both the artbook and the soundtrack (which will hopefully be here this winter) so I can always have a piece of the world with me.

Did anyone else here play? It probably sounds really silly, but I cry every time I think about it. It was just a beautiful thing, and it helped me realize what I want to do with my life.

I'm just always looking for people to reminisce with and cry to about how pretty everything was. 

I have two Trixey brushables. One of them from the favorite set last year, the other from an ex-friend. I want to downsize, which for me means no G4 doubles allowed, but I'm antsy about getting rid of either. The one I bought myself I'm kind of attached to; that whole set was a special buy for me. The one that was bought for me, I'd like to remove from my life, but I'm so nervous that someday this person will come back into my life and want to know why I don't still have her. I know that's just ridiculous; I cut off communications because I found out this adult man was bullying teenagers out of roleplaying as a hobby, and he made himself very scarce and disappeared. I have no intention of ever talking to him again, and I want to get rid of this pony, but there's that fear that he'll somehow know and be angry at me.  What a ridiculous thing to be worried about!

All of my babbling aside, do any of you have ponies/other collectibles that someone you had a falling out with gave you? Did you decide to keep them or sell them? Or did you even have to make a decision? I look at that Trixey and just hate her! I think I'll definitely sell her, or even give her to a charity shop. 

I've always liked Moondancer, but managed to never buy her. I just saw Argie Moondancer in someone's signature, though, and now... I feel like I need a Moondancer army just to express my love for her! That's not very practical right now, though, so can you all show me your Moondancers? Baby MD, plushies, and merch are totally welcome too! I just want to fawn over this girl some more. (And get a few and rehair some to look like an Argie or Italian... so pretty...)

So, once again I checked Craigslist and found ponies! ...in another city!  It's never quite in Missoula, always in another town, or a neighboring state! (At least it's just a G3 lot, not something I'll absolutely die without.)

Anyway, I've yet to have luck on Craigslist. I guess all my pony luck went to thrifting. But I know some of you guys have found fantastic pony lots on there before. Care to share your stories of joy or woe? 

I've fallen in love with the UK Princess Sparkle variant, "Princess Crash".  Does anyone here have her? Any idea how much she costs? I'd love to know some more about her.

I've got a 75% mohawked Streaky sitting here with me. (Well, her head is with me.) I'd like to give her back her curls, so I need to know what colors of hair to buy next time I order from DH. I can't match any of the colors to my screen. :S Help? Thanks in advance!

Hey, remember when I said that I wouldn't buy any more lots? Well, I didn't buy a lot. I bought two lots, cuz two is better than one, right?

 

Well, anyway, how bout a good old fashioned game of spot the pony, followed by a game of spot the many problems!

I haven't started cleanup yet, but I went over each of them, shook em around, peeked down a couple of loose neck holes. And look, I took notes while I went!


I'll end up cleaning them all inside and out, probably sunfading most of them, making lots of oxy clean baths, and I'll post restore pics as I go. If you have any tips I need to know (like not to sunfade Confetti, right?) I'll be glad to hear them!
