Sorry for all the random price check threads lately, but I've been finding things as I clean out drawers! I know this one is probably a long shot, but you never know. Bought these two comic books at a church sale a few years back just for the heck of it. Younger me thought they looked cool, so here I am with two random comics I know nothing about. Can anyone lend a hand and tell me what these are worth, if anything? Doing a trade with an Arena member, so I packaged up the item and brought it to the PO today. Get up to the counter, fill out the customs form (it's going from the US to Canada), and then things get weird... I asked about putting a tracking number on it, and I've been able to do it fine in the past (Delivery Confirmation I guess?). The woman tells me I can't do it on international things, and since I'd only declared the item to be worth around $5, it would be a waste to "pay $50 on tracking."  I mentioned that I'd done it before and she was absolutely insistent that it couldn't be done. She told me that the number on the customs form would track it in the country, and left it at that. I tried saying otherwise, but there was a line behind me and tempers were flaring. So that was that. Has anyone else had this happen?

I dug this out sometime last year with the intent of doing something with it, lost it, and refound it again today. It's not really much, but I know there are Lisa Frank collectors both here and elsewhere, and I figured it'd do better to go to one of them than to sit and collect dust in my drawer. That being said, I know nothing about values of LF designs and such, so I figured I'd ask before doing anything. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThere might have been a sharpener that came with it, but I can't remember nor can I find it. Case, 2 pencils, and an eraser. Used it as a kid (it's from the late 90's or earlier 2000's), so everything's used, but overall it's in decent shape. The sticker on the case is worn on the edges, and I Magic Erased my name out of it a while back. Again, I doubt it's got much value, but hey, you never know!

I've been catching up on what I've missed since disappearing from the pony world, and I see that there are new and improved princesses! I'm dying to find the white Celestia that came with Pinkie, as well as the Luna that came with Rarity. Not sure how much interest there would be in this, but I have the following ponies I'd totally trade for them:
-The Celestia/Luna pack that came out originally. Molded hair Celestia and the Luna that matches the size of the other Playful Ponies. It's out of the box but I have all of the accessories!
- Cherry Pie (the Playful Pony) with all accessories+ animal friend
- Flower Wishes from the first TRU favorites set
- Trixie from the first TRU favorites set
They're all in great condition, with the exception of a few factory flaws here and there.
I also have a Lisa Frank pencil set as well as an old Nintendo DS (that I literally can't get rid of) if you'd be more inclined to trade for those. I can post pictures or more in-depth descriptions if you'd like.
Please PM if you have any interest, as I'd love to add a "proper" Celestia and Luna to my collection! Thank you!
EDIT: I'd be alright with the Luna from the Crystal Princesses pack as well!

Hello! I've recently become obsessed highly interested in Wreck- It Ralph! Namely the character King Candy. I've started a small collection of his merchandise, but I'm still interested in a few things. Could you help me out? I'm looking for: 1) The King Candy figure from this set. Not really interested in the whole thing, just the one figure. 2) this pin3) and this pinI don't think the two pins are that "rare" per say, you know how evilBay is! If you're someone who can get them at the parks, or has them and doesn't want them, I'd be more than happy to take them off of your hands! Same with the figurine. If you have the item or are going to get it, we can discuss a price. I DO NOT HAVE PAYPAL, so payment will have to be cash or money order. I've been looking for g3 Minty, and a very kind member offered me Winter 3 Minty MIB. I really want this pony with all of her accessories, and obviously an MIB one will have them. I was hoping to find her loose with accessories, but the price is extremely reasonable.
So my dilema is, would it be alright to debox her if I buy her? I'm not an MIB collector, mostly because I like playing with the ponies and styling their hair. Is she very sought after? I'd hate to debox her only to find out that there are people who are looking for MIB ones...
Help?

Just watched A Very Minty Christmas with my sister and now we're on the hunt for a g3 Minty! Preferably the Winter III one or Minty VI. Winter III came with a hat and scarf, and VI came with a Santa hat and the movie. I'd prefer VI of the two, but either one with her accesories is good. The movie with VI would be nice, but not necessary. I just really want either girl with all of her accesories, not in the box!
I have a few items to trade, if you're interested in Lisa Frank or DS games. I also have a finished winter custom. If you don't want any items I have, we can work out a price. Unfortunately, I don't have PayPal, so any payment will have to be a cash or money order. Either one I'll send in a bubble mailer with Delivery Confirmation.

There have been topics about kids and ponies and pets+ponies, so why not parents? How do your parents feel about ponies/collecting? Have any of them taken interest in it enough to start collections of their own? Or maybe they like going out on pony hunts with you! My mom is usually willing to go pony hunting with my sister and I. She asks lots of questions, usually, and generally seems interested in what I collect. She likes knowing what's what, what we're looking for, and who the characters are. When she sees us looking at ponies in the store, she always wants to know who they are, if they're from the show, what they're like, etc. My dad seems indifferent, but shows interst now and then. He sat down and watched some of the Discord special becuase he's a big Star Trek fan. I don't think he really "gets" why it's so popular now, but he tolerates it, so that's okay! Both of my parents are always willing to buy us ponies, and usually snatch them out of our hands to pay when we find one. Funny story, my sister and I decided that we were going to split the Spa Friends bb set today, beucase I wanted Lotus and she wanted Zecora. My mom got it for us, just because. But we were debating what to do with Pinkie, since we both had her already. We decided to give her to my dad, and told him to put in on his desk at work. He's got all kinds of little things on his desk, one of which is a tiny cannon. I told him to put her near it because Pinkie needs her party cannon! Then my mom told him he was a brony now lol. He wanted to know how to explain her to his co-workers, so I told him to say that it's the trendy thing. We'll see where Pinkie ends up  So share your stories of parents and ponies!

Finally got around to doing my first custom! She was made from a g4 Rainbow Dash, the one from the favorites set. She was rehaired with embroidery floss in an ice blue, and a gradiented blue/white. The ends are sealed with Mod Podge to prevent fraying. She was hand painted in acryllics, and again, sealed with Mod Podge. I had to paint her symbol with a toothpick! She has a few individual pieces of glitter on her symbol, wings, and near her eye. Snow Crystal's bun is secured with three straightpins and some Mod Podge to hold the ends in place. There were a few snags, however! Aren't there always? First off, her head and body are slightly mismatched, but that's typical with g4s. Then, her head came off pretty easy, but I couldn't get the plug back in her head! So I cut it off and superglued her head back on. I glued it this afternoon and I'm not too sure that it's gonna hold, so I might have to re-glue it tomorrow. Then when I was trying to do her hair the pin went staight through her head once and stabbed my finger  But I leared a lot, and I hope to improve! Tonight the family and I went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner (awesome shrimp, btw!). There's a little family run toy store next store, so my sister and I decided to check it out while the parents waited for a table. Boy, did we find the mother load!
There were a ton of MH dolls, first of all, and quite a few early releases to boot. But the MLP aisle... G3.5s and G3s! In a retail store! It was like my childhood all over again. Naturally, they were quite pricey. $20-25 for most of the ponies, $30 and up for most of the MHs. The one g3 they had was some sort of dancing twirling pink pony that spun around. It had the anniversary logo on the box. I'd like to try to go back tomorrow and get something! It's been so long since I bought a brand new g3. Just thought I'd share!

I haven't touched my old DS since I got an iPod touch. Seeing as it's been sitting around gathering dust for the past few years, I decided I'd like to try to sell it. It's in good shape, still has the stylus and charger (and a nintendogs skin), plus I've got around a dozen games. Also have a few GameBoy Advance games, as well.
So my question is, what's the best way to go about selling it? I'm... skeptical about eBay, honestly. And I know that being a brand-new seller can be tough when you're trying to sell a decent sized lot of electronics. I know GameStop offers to buy old games/ equiptment, but I've heard that they're notoriously cheap unless you get paid in store credit. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Do you think there'd be any interest if I post in the Sales board here (I trust the pony community so much more than eBay!) Thanks, and mods please move if this is in the wrong place!

So I recently started my first custom. Pretty basic, just hairing/ detailing my CaM Seamonster. I have a few questions though!
- Is Mod Podge waterproof? I used it to seal her fins, tentacles, and ears. I also painted her scalp and sealed it so the scalp isn't as visible under the hair. I also want to use it to attach flocking to her for a shaved look, but since it's water base should I use something else? If I do use another product, would I be good to apply it right over the Mod Podge, or should I remove it all and start over?
- Do I need to glue the hair after knotting it in? If so, what's the best stuff to use?

I was searching for Lyra on Target's website (no luckl) and I noticed that they still have the G3 Favorite Friends listed. Thinking it was just old stock yet to have its picture removed, I searched for store availability near me for the heck of it. Lo and behold... at least two stores in my area supposedly have them! I'm tempted to bring the product number to one of the stores and have an employee try to look them up, but I figured I'd ask if anyone here had tried it first.
So has anyone had luck finding G3s at Target recently? More importantly, why are they still in stock? If no one's found them, would anyone like to try to provide insight as to why they're still listed as available in some stores? Thanks!
