We stopped in to browse at a HMV (Canada) today, and I found a new 2015 calendar. This is a different one from the yellow background one found at Dollar Tree [initial thread here]. This one is a bigger size, has a purple background, and completely different pictures (and more pricey). So we have 2 calendars! Here are some pictures (borrowed from calendars.com). Price at HMV was $17.99. visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I was browsing Kijiji and found a lot with Dream Castle and a few ponies. The lister says to make an offer - what would be a fair (but hopefully reasonable for my bank) amount to offer for this? The description is this: Very good condition, has all the accessories for the castle and the unicorn has all its accessories too! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThankies!!

So a few years back I bought a Baby Keen Bean on ebay, and she came with this little comb. I didn't think much of it but kept it anyways figuring it way pony. I thought I had it ID'd at once point, but after checking the G2 sites tonight, it appears I was wrong. But I can't figure out who it does go to. This is the pic from the auction that I kept - you can see the comb and it's size related too Baby Keen Bean. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThanks for your help, and helping Kiwi find her sanity again!

NotAlwaysFriendly is one of the sister-sites to NotAlwaysRight, and browsing through today I found this neat pony story of a collecting in Australia. Wonder if it's anyone here. http://notalwaysfriendly.com/an-unexpected-party/35315

I need to pick the knowledgeable brains of the crafty ponies. I'm working on some Plastic Canvas projects, and have seen recommendations to spray them with Scotchgard to protect from stains and getting wet. I have some gift cards for Michael's, and was wondering if anyone knows if they carry it...or a similar product. Also which section at Michael's would something like that be in? The PC area is pretty small, so it must be somewhere else, if it's there. thanks!

A Canadian airline - WestJet - pulled a huge Christmas surprise for passengers on 2 flights. This video is awesome (it's a huge promotional thing, but really awesome too). http://blog.westjet.com/westjet-christmas-miracle-video-real-time-giving/One thing to keep in mind - they pulled this off (one article I saw said 357 gifts) in just 4 hours.

Fall/cold weather is officially here, which means nice soft fuzzy socks for bedtime. Let's have some sock fun - how do you wear your socks? What kinds do you like, or do you despise and avoid them at all costs? In the summer I avoid socks as much as possible - mostly barefoot, light slippers (love slippers), and sandals. In the cold months - I love my socks! Especially my bed socks - fuzzy, thick, warm, soft. I wear socks all the time in the cold weather. My only sock quirk - I cannot wear them the right way (except for the odd rare ones), have to be inside out otherwise the seams drive me crazy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm. Heehee, I just got a song in my head: Soft sockie, Warm sockie, Little ball of fuzz. Happy Kiwi, Sleepy Kiwi, Zzzz, zzzz, zzzz.

I want to hear your experiences with family reunions! Anyone been to one? What's it like?
I'm not talking a small "family backyard BBQ" with close family.... I'm talking a huge "anyone descended from *this guy* 6 generations back" type reunion.
Tonight is the spaghetti dinner/registration night, kicking off 4 days of family reunion. There is going to be a lot of people we've never met. Should be interesting!
