Pony Corral / Ebay morning wake-up

I have Ebay email me ponies I'm interested in buying.

These were in my inbox this morning.

Do a search on

"my little pony sports time" and
"my little pony berrytown"

My first thought was "really?"

I know they are not common but ?

They're not even the same seller.

I don't like to brag but I've finally gotten around to displaying my ponies.

Not the greatest picture. The flash blocked Thundercloud and the glass caught lots of reflections.

Trader & Shipping Support / US Postal service woes! Update!

Instead of hijacking another thread I'll start another.

Sorry for the rant.

Right now I'm waiting for a package from the UK that's registered mail. It's last update was July 23 in New York. This package is going on 3 weeks on arriving here. I've had other packages from the UK and Sweden and Finland sent later already arrive on my doorstep. I never have packages from the UK take this long. Tornado is in the package!!

It's not big. One pony but precious to me anyway!

I sent another package for a trade. Priority Mail. Across the San Francisco Bay. Didn't have far to go. Made it all the way to the destination town post office. Then marked "missent." Now I don't know what's happening. My pony from the trade already arrived!

What happens if it lands on my doorstep? Do I have to pay again to resend? But right now I just hope the ponies are okay.

Do you like white/light colored backgrounds or dark/black? Busy or plain? What do you think looks better?

Is lighting more important than background in getting good results? Natural or artificial?

Indoor or outdoor?

Discuss!

I'm not so sure with any of the above as I've had mixed results with all of them.

Pony Corral / Using Summer Hayes G1 Inventory to Price Ponies

Do you use it to do price checks? How accurate is it now that the book is 4 years old?

I realize that prices are cyclical for ponies but is the book too high, too low, or just a good average.

Sometimes it's hard to find a good range of prices for a pony here at the Arena, the old Arena, or Ebay.

Please help me decide whether or not to bait or clean these ponies. Any help is appreciated!

I haven't done any cleaning on them so some dirt may come off easily. I don't want to waste my time cleaning if it's not worth it. I used spoilers since there are lot of pics. Thanks!
