Miraja’s Wish and Want List

- I am currently trading and doing *some* buying, feel free to contact me -

Unless otherwise stated, I’m looking for ponies in very good condition, though some I am looking for baits on too!  By very good, I don’t want any cancer or regrind.  Small hair trims are okay, really frizzy hair is not.  Dry hair is okay, I can fix it as long as it is not serious.  Pen marks depend and depend on the pony.  I can sunfade most anything, so I am not even so worried about that.  Small scuffs and damages to eyes and symbols are even okay, especially if it’s a rare pony.

I am always looking to buy Taffeta, Moondust and Pristina, I am happy to take them in good condition or baity-hair condition.  They’re kind of my army group!

- Quackers ( I want a perfect one.  Perfect white body.  No cancer.  Hair can be bad, though I’d like one with perfect hair too at some point.  But the body is the main thing with Quackers for me.  Basically, I'd like a perfect-perfect one, and one with a perfect body and bad hair for me to rehair.  >D )
- Sugar Apple ( Any condition.  I’d like a perfect mint one, but I’d also like a few to rehair. )
- Sweet Clover
- German Clover
- Cranberry Muffins ( upgrade. )
- Deflocks ( I have Magic Star, Buttons, Twilight, Truly and Paradise in deflock. )
- Deflock candidates ( I want Skippity-Doo, Crumpet and Angel, Twist, Fifi. )
- SS Angel
- Surprise Pose Nirvanas ( Spain and Brazil Dancing Butterflies, Brazil Wind Whistler, Pristina variants.  )
- Starglow ( Any condition to hair, symbol and eye rubs okay too. )
- Dazzleglow ( Any condition to hair.  symbol and eye rubs okay too  I am specifically looking for either of the pink heart versions, light pink body and dark pink body, but I’d be happy to have another Blue heart variant too. )
- Romance Ponies
- Princess Pristina - Any condition, I'm looking for one to rehair.
- Lemon Treats
- Ringlet
- Always buying and wanting Taffetas and Moondusts of any condition.  Long as they’re not gnawed on, and I’d still want a gnawed on Taffeta. :/ I have issues.
- Blueberry Baskets ( Mint as possible, please. )
- Princess Misty ( I don’t have one of these yet, I think I would like the body as mint as possible, but not too worried about hair, because she’d be fun to rehair )
- Banana Surprise
- Winger Glow
- A Super white Starshine
- More G2's.  ( Swap only. ) - I am quite close to completing all of what I want from the America release of G1( Really, what’s on here is what I want and voila, done, and then I’ll probably start upgrading, though I’ve kind of gotten to that point too. . . ).  I don’t remotely close to have all of them, so please don’t think that, I’m just a bit of a fussbucket of what I like, and I like having a small collection.  However, I have wanted to get into G2, and am happy to get random G2's for swaps because I know I have such a short wishlist!  And some of them are a bit hard to find even with me not so fussy about condition of some of them.  On G2's, all I ask is they be static posed ponies.  I don’t like the moving bits ones.  I like the ones with lots of sparkle, glam, tinsel in the hair, etc, etc.  I would love a pair of babies, or even just one or a million.  They’re adorable.  Right now I have:
2x Bright Berry
1x Sea Breeze
1x Clever Clover

Nirvana Wish List:
- Baby Honeycomb
- Brazil Moonstone
- French Starshine ( Purple hair )
- French Windy ( Either purple hair or both.  Haha. )
- Alt German Princesses ( Especially Princess Sparkle variants )
- MEXICAN PONIES!!! ( Starflower and Pinwheel especially. But any non-CP Mexicans are wanted! )
- Greek Moondancer
- Greek Skydancer
- Italy Moonstone - Blue hair
- Any Nirvana Starshine besides German, Greek, Mexican.

Culture Swap Q&A

Do you wear jewelry? any allergies related? Yes!  I wear jewelry.  Lots of it.  I like unique gemstones, semi-precious, etc.  Eudialyte is my favorite.  I do have allergies, I cannot wear inferior metals.  I am a person that prefers silver or bronze toned jewelry.  Most of my stuff is silver/sterling.
Army pony?  Sort of.  I have quite a few Moondusts and Taffetas, and I love them to bits and would take more.  I also like Starshine and currently have kind of a nirvana army of her, but no US Starshine!  I have German, Mexican and Greek Starshine!
Specific things that are or are not ok on ponies? As in marker on bottom feet, flocking rubs in normal areas, small hair trims, a missing plug.. etc?

Okay:  I don't mind small trims, especially on foreign release ponies, like Italians and Spanish ponies.  A little frizz is okay.  Rubs to symbols is okay.  As is eyes.  Of my army ponies, these are all perfectly okay, as I love fixing them up!  I am always up for rehair candidates in these!  Flocking issues are okay on my wishlist ponies too, because I like deflocks, just don't get me one of those stupidly stubborn flocked ponies with issues, okay? :P   I don't do any hard chemicals, just acetone, rubbing alcohol and hot water and soap.  Small penmarks are okay, and ponies who are a bit yellowed and can be sunfaded are totes cool as well.

Not okay:  Cancer.  No cancer.  No regrind.  Horribly frizzy hair on something not meant for a rehair project.  No chews.  Chews are no bueno.

Spare time?  What spare time?  Ah, I work as a bartender and server, so that might give you a bit of an idea about me.  I like antique and vintage things.  My Little Pony is really the newest thing I collect!  I collect old American dolls, Japanese dolls, and Japanese kimono and related bits and bobs.  I'm rather eclectic and I love writing and playing Clarinet.

Partner, do you like Coffee or tea, maybe both?
- I can't have coffee right now.  I'm recovering from two different accidents which have destroyed the muscles in my back, and the caffeine level in coffee apparently messes with the body's ability to form muscle.  I can have tea in moderation, however, which is basically the only reason worth living besides ponies at the moment.

What sort of handmade goods might you like partner?  Soaps?  Candles?  Honey?  Incense?
I love incense, and collect it, but only all-natural and handmade stuffs.  The sort that comes out of mall ‘spiritual shops’ is super toxic and no good.  I use Japanese incense, myself.  Candles are always welcome, I am pagan.  I don’t actually use soap myself.  Honey is divine, always.  In terms of what I like in scents, I like spicy scents, but not like warm-apple-pie scented, but rather like Aloeswood, Sandalwood, Sage, myrrh, and other natural wood scents.  I’m not much for fruity, but I do like some flower scents, like lilac and gardenia but in moderation.

Do you have children and/or pets?
Three rottencatchildren.  The one is a stepcatchild, but whatever.

Do you like rehairs? Customs? No to customs, yes to rehairs.  I do prefer colors that look like they could be original, like, not overly bright, or colors like black or neon, but colors that go with a pony’s paint sceme. :3  I mean, I think I would like a couple repose customs at some point, or may try it myself, but I am so fussy about how things are painted and I rarely like the look of a FBR, so it's probably best not to.

What is your favorite time of year? why?  Spring or Autumn in Florida, as it’s the only time I can spend outside.  In Wisconsin, I was completely a summer girl.

1. do you like mlp merch etc/ craft/ art supplies if it is some how relevant to the swap box?  I’m not much on MLP merchandise.  I have so much stuff, so I try not to collect it.  Dollyhair and the such are always welcome, and I’m always happy to get cute little note pads and the such as I use them for work as I’m a server and bartender. :)

Do you have one concrete style which you like? Like vintage, kitsch, goth, etc?  Vintage, I like lace and velvet.  Googling ‘Gunne Sax,’ would be my style in a nut shell!  Big flowy dresses!  But then I have interest in Kimono and such too!

What colors are your favorite and which ones dominate in your room/house?  Lots of amber tones.  My apartment is painted all in creams and coffee colors, and my furniture is dark wood.  I have ambers, oranges, and deep reds.  Lot of warm colors.  I do like sage-y greens as well for interiors.

Do you like scrapbooked albums? Or maybe you like scrapbooking yourself?  No thank you.  I don’t do much of this, as I have so many other hobbies that I’m currently trying to narrow down as is.

If you have favorite music bands, favorite book authors, online writers or artists, who are they?
I like a lot of Classic rock.  Boston, Queen, Kansas and Fleetwood Mac are my favorites.  I like some new stuff, but electronic generally, like I really do like Ellie Goulding and even Lana Del Ray for some dumb reason.  Favorite authors would be CS Friedman and Garth Nix.  Artists, I'm a huge

Is there something you collect from every place you visit? E.g. fridge magnets, bookmarks, postcards, stationary, keychains?  Not really.  Book marks would be cute, and even a few magnets as I’m always running out!

What are your favorite landmarks or places you visit when visiting other cities/states/countries?
I love music, so I always try to catch some sort of show when I’m visiting some place.  When I was in the UK, I managed to go to a big theater in London to see a ballet and they had a fantastic pit orchestra!  I also love old places.  History and the such, museums.

Any type of food/candy you love/hate?

I don’t like overly sugary sweets, they hurt my teeth.  I really prefer chocolate to most sweets, and I like any sort of chocolate.  Dark, milk, white, does not matter.  I like almost all nuts, but I do not like fruit flavor chocolate.  I’ve only ever liked one, and that was World Market’s Pomegranate dark chocolate.

Do you prefer one big item or multiple smaller items?
It does not matter to me.  How ever my partner wants. :)

Partner, if you have a pony on your wantlist which has a variant that is different, for example in Europe than in US, which one do you want? Or do you prefer CP ponies to have concave or flat feet? Or, if you collect variants, would you like both?

I love variants of a lot of the ponies on my wishlist.  Especially show and glows.

1.How do you feel about a minimal body-head discoloration?  It bugs me, but small and minimal ones on an especially prized pony would be just fine.

2.If I got you a pony which has a small haircut to few strands of hair in their mane, would you like me to add it as an extra pony as it is, or restore it by rehairing it?

Small haircuts are okay.  I’m not fussy about that.  I think that rehairing a pony who has a minor but still soft and silky hair isn’t really nice.

Hey, Partner? If you're in a country that isn't getting the McPonies, would you like them? Any single one of them, or all of them?

None please.

Partner, how do you feel about Flutter Ponies? I have all of them, so that question no longer applies to me.

No thanks!

Do you have any favorite animals?  Cats.

Do you have any other collections besides MLP?  Antique dolls ( Japanese and American ), Japanese kimono, kanzashi, etc, and apparently maneki neko have started to take root as a collection as everyone from every swap I’ve done has sent me one!

Did you have favorite fragrance or smell you like?
Aloeswood is my most favorite scent, followed by sandalwood and gardenia.  I prefer more natural and woody scents, and not overtly artificial scents.

What do you prefer for TShirt womens, mens or uni sex and size?
I don’t wear tshirts. . .  I have my work one’s, but those are stamped with my workplace stuff and what not, so when I’m out of uniform, I do not wear any tshirts. ^^;;

Do you enjoy history?
Depends, I have backrounds in Southeast, Southwest, and Northwest Native Americans, Japan, Germany and a lot of Latin America too.  I was an anthropology major and got my BA in Cultural Anthro.

MLP Nirvana / Sunfading Greeks
« on: February 09, 2014, 08:35:35 PM »
So, I was wondering if anyone has attempted to sunfade a Greek.

I have a Starshine and she's pretty, well, uhm, creamy.  She's very beautiful, but I was curious how well they sunfade.  Basically, I would want to just give her a peroxide sunfade for two days at maximum, while the sunlight here in Florida is still somewhat gentle.  I mean, don't get me wrong, a yellowed pony who can take some crazy UV's is a good thing here and what not, but with a nirvana, I'd like for it to be as gentle as possible so not to burn her.  I've had some really good results so far, my Honeycomb bait came out bright white even if she still has some pink marks on her, and she also had some cancer spots, but those went bye-bye on her.

I have a Sugarberry I'm about to bring up, but she still needs a few spots sunfaded out, so maybe all of a day left on her.

I'm also going to try my German Starshine.  I've heard a mix bag on that, but I may try her on an overcast day, but I haven't really heard much about the Greeks!

Please help!

MLP Nirvana / Apparently I love Starshine <3
« on: January 17, 2014, 08:25:05 PM »
And I don't even have a G1 US release, but I have BOTH a Greek and Mexican Starshine on the way who will be joining my German Starshine very soon!  ( I just cannot find her in perfect condition without paying an arm and a leg )

I'm so excited!  I have. . .only a few Nirvanas, but I think it's hilarious that I have lucked out that three of them will all be Starshine!

I *think* I scored on the Greek, I ended up paying somewhere under $80 altogether with shipping after conversion, and I know I scored on the beautiful Mexi Starshine.  Mexi Starshine will likely be here in a week, as she's coming domestic, whereas Greek Starshine may lag a bit.  She's in France, got a bit further to go!

Anyway, seller's pix, not in hand, but so much pretty:

I've really started out my New Year pony buying with a bang.  I just got in three ( Moondust, Taffeta and Dawn ) Princesses who cleaned up wonderfully despite playing in the mud, and then I have a Spanish Parasol, and Italian Firefly, Posey and Bowtie on the way as well. . .!  After this I need to behave, but there are still some nice ponies on ebay I want to bid on.  @_@

Pony Corral / Does anyone make replacement/custom twinkle eyes?
« on: January 02, 2014, 12:56:08 PM »
I was looking around on one of the restore websites a few days ago for other hair treatments, and got engrossed in reading. . .  Apparently someone used to make replacement twinkle eye plugs???  However, the link no longer worked, and well, I didn't give it much thought, but I had wanted to do a custom some time ago with gold/yellow twinkle eyes, and was wondering if anyone could make them or even made the replacements anymore.

I know I could just glue some yellow/gold stones on the pony's eyes and call it a day, but with me, being a terrible perfectionist, I'd really like something that looked as factory as possible!

MLP Nirvana / Well, this is fun. . . ( Mexican Moondust/ Prince Emerald )
« on: December 28, 2013, 03:33:41 PM »
So!

I got my first Mexican Nirvana, raising my Nirvana country count to.  . .three!  All the others are Germans and Italians. . .

I am loving these Mexican Princes(ses), and do want to collect the entire set.  Mine is pretty rough, I mean, she will display well once I get some work done.  She has some really scuffed up hooves, but most of the damage is to the underside and her paint and symbols are not in the least perfect, but worst is her hair.

The hair feels very different from US MLP hair, but it's really frizzed out.  I think her mane can be tamed, but her tail is shot.  Furthermore, her washer/crimper combo, whatever it is, is rusted to heaven and I do not see a way I can actually get it *off* her tail without further wrecking her tail.  I was thinking of bagging her tail, putting it away in case of resale or trade, and using one of my Moondust tails I have laying around here somewhere.  ( I have perfume puff rehair'd two Moondusts.  Shush, she's one of my favorites. )  The hair on these are not perfect either, especially given the ponies they came from were rehaired, but I'd better than what she has.  I know part of the draw for Nirvanas is the hair, but this stuff is shot.  It's really frizzy and heat-damaged feeling.  Plus the rusted washer that I don't think I want to try getting off.  That rust is only going to come back, and it could eventually damage the actual pony.

Which brings me to my next question.  How well do Mexican ponies take to the hot iron?  I've done well defrizzing normal US ponies, but I'm fearful of this stuff.  It feels as if it's been heat treated before, because it's so brittle feeling.  Basically, she feels like she's bleached her hair out a gazillion times all while flat ironing her hair every day on the hottest heat setting.  As I said, I think her mane is salvageable, I have about a ton of synthetic hair conditioner and some professional hair oil on both her mane and tail, and the mane has improved quite a bit.

Thanks for the help in advance!

Pony Corral / How much? That's crazy!!!
« on: November 08, 2013, 04:37:27 PM »
Am I the only one noticing that prices for ponies have just shot up?  Not so much mint or nm ponies, but ponies that aren't in that good of condition, and even common ponies at that!  Especially on ebay!  I've been looking for bait ponies and rehair candidates but the prices are ridiculous!  I'll see people list ponies who have MAJOR hair problems and be all nonchalant about it and still want $10-$15 for the pony.  I'm sorry, but when a pony has more than 50% of her hair cut, she is BAIT!  Bait, bait, bait, and more bait!

I understand uncommons and rares still being worth that, or whereabouts that even in baity condition.  I would gladly take another buzzcut Taffeta or a dozen for that matter, because I adore her and want a rehair army of her, and would pay $10 for even a bait Taffeta(she's also very, very hard to find, in my experience!).  But I'm talking Lickety Split, Surprise, Peachy, and other commons that I'm seeing, who I don't believe are even worth $15 in near mint condition, except in the case of Surprise, if you can find one pure white, that is. . .  I mean, I want a bunch of Sugar Apples to mess with, but they've been astronomical on prices, and I'm sorry, she is pretty, and I adore her, but she is so common!

Is it just me?!

Pony Corral / Annoyances and sadnesses in collecting :sigh:
« on: October 17, 2013, 05:36:12 PM »
I just wanted to post a small venting, not that it's really a serious problem.  It's definitely not a WYP, at least I don't think so?

Anyways, I've been going through my collection and I've been watching two of my favorite ponies degrade.  It's a bit upsetting, and they're not favorites because of their values.  Only one is a valuable ponies, but both were bought on the cheap, and both had issues that I tamed and fixed only for major issues starting to crop up that can't be fixed.

The first is my Sugar Berry.  She's super white, and with beautiful hair.  There's a bit of dryness, but I styled it all, but her major issue was pindot.  I knew with Sugar Berry I couldn't do a full boil and oxy on her.  Her hair bleeds, as most anything that deeply pigmented red is wont to do.  Seriously.  Fortunately she had the pindot only up to her chest, and really thickly on her legs, but that meant a lot of hours baby sitting her in her oxybath, and keeping her up right, and keeping her hair out of the mess and all of that.  I got all of the pindot off of her!

However, I find that the treatment I used to get the pindot has likely caused her major issue.  She has a spot of cancer developing on her leg, and it's a deep black splotch that is beginning to leech out.  It's likely some nasty particulate trapped in the vinyl, and the immersion has triggered it to degrade.  She didn't have this mark two years ago, I know, because I cleaned this pony top to bottom and really worked to make her so beautiful.

It's not even a major cancer spot, but still, it's an issue I can't fix.

And then, then there is Night Glider.  She's one of the prizes of my collection, and I don't think it's even an argument to say she is definitely one of the most beautiful ponies ever produced.  If there was an alt Nirvana of her, I would fear the prices that she would fetch. . .

I digress, but I never paid a lot for my Night Glider.  She was manky, she was dirty, but she didn't have cut hair, and her body wasn't chewed up.  Her hair is thin, and the color isn't in the least vibrant, but her symbols came out nice and I was more than happy with her.

But now I'm not.  When I took her out of storage ( all temperature controlled, and she was in there for a year! ) she was covered in neon green splotches.  Regrind has gotten my Night Glider.  It's not too apparent still, but I swear every time I look at her, she's got a new splotch!

I want to replace her, but the prices have been too high.  The prices when I bought her at were high then, but they've only gotten more expensive now.

It's just sad, I know I've babbled, but it's a frustration of mine watching things degrade.

Customs / My Custom Alt-Rehairs ( Perfume puffs )
« on: October 13, 2013, 05:19:29 PM »
I've been rehairing for a couple months now, and I think I about got things figured out.  I mainly like perfume puffs, as honestly, I do not like Dolly Hair.  And that's not a smack to their product, I just don't like it.  It feels too thin, and I'd like to use a product that is thicker in texture and feels more like G1 hair, if that makes sense?  I know there's a lot of other types of hair out there, so I was wondering if anyone of them are going to feel ( and thus look ) more like G1 hair?

Also, I'm thinking of selling a few of my alt rehairs, but are they good enough?  And if so, maybe do commissions?  I'm just looking for some feedback.  ^^

Anyways, these are some of my rehairs I've done:

For Trade / Raja's Trade List - TRADE WITH MOI! 9/18
« on: September 18, 2013, 12:54:09 PM »
I'm looking to do some serious trading!

I have my sales list here:  http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,334096.0.html  And everything is fair game for trades!

I also have my want list here: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,339218.new.html#new

I really, really want to thin down my herd, and would be beyond willing to trade more of MY ponies for less of YOUR ponies.  Even if it's not on my want list, feel free to contact me if you have exclusives, rares, or even nirvanas. . .  Gee, I wish. . .  I can never exactly keep track of all I want and I have some trouble of who is and who isn't trading.  Basically, if you see something on my sales thread you want or a few things, contact me!  Send me what you have and I'll take a look!  The worst I can say is no, but I am more than likely to find something I would like if you have a minty pony I would like an upgrade for! I will do trades outside of the US as well!

Pony Brag Arena / My crazy sleep deprived adventure! ( Ends in Pony finds! )
« on: September 14, 2013, 09:12:00 PM »
So, yesterday, well, kind of today, kind of not, I ended up working a Friday 9hr shift at work until 1 in the morning.  Got home, and found myself too wound up, as was my girlfriend!  Hilariously enough, we decided to wanted to pretend we were morning people and I had the brilliant idea to go to a little farmers market that is only held on Saturdays.  I normally am dead to the world on Saturday morning and thus have always missed it.  ;.;  We were ready to go at 6, but it didn't open until 8 so. . . STARBUCKS!  Had a coffee, and enjoyed a rare nice, cool Florida morning!

Anyways, head down, we found a loooovely honey merchant and got some amazing honey.  ( I'm an addict ) And I found a lemon grass plant too!  Oh, how I've wanted fresh lemon grass for my coconut chicken soup!

It's a small bit of a thing and we got done with it fairly quick.  We were downtown so it wasn't too far from the flea market, so why not?!

Bingo!  Finally found some ponies!  I didn't buy much, she had more, but they were all pretty baity.  I did find myself a SS Buttons, who I'm working on ( and has shucked her fluff almost complete, just working on deglueing her but ran out of nail polish remover ), a Surprise(yellowed), Merriweather ( some bad vinyl stains, but good color ), Baby Northstar ( Some cancer ), A flutter ( a purple one, I believe the one that regrinds badly, but she has no regrind, yay! ) and a Moonstone who should clean up fairly nicely.  I paid $5 for them all.  I'll have to remember to go early for now on, should score again.  There was another vender who had a flutter and a Princess Primrose, but they were really baity and he said he wouldn't let me have them both for anything less than $5.  Even a nice Primrose is not worth a lot.  :/  They were worth at most a dollar each with major haircuts.  XD  He said if he had them in a few weeks still he might think about it!  Never mind I honestly reiterated that I wasn't in the least buying for a profit, but rather just picking them to pass on and such to buyers who'd be looking to fix up or custom.

Still, no complaints, I got a nice little pile of ponies to work on, and one I've been wanting ( Buttons  ) and in deflock who is deflocking pretty easily.  I mean, I've used hot water and nail polish remover on her and she's about 85% of the way done.  I just need more remover.  :)

So yay!

26
10/26 - I am looking for Pricesses.  Taffeta, Moondust and Pristina.  I would be interested in these in either great condition or baity-time-for-new-hair condition.  I love rehairing these three, so I could always take more of them.  I am also looking for them in original condition too for my non-rehair collection.  I want Starglow.  Nice body is all that matters.  I definitely need a Skyflier.  I need a great body, but torn up hair, or just otherwise cheap.  I am also buying additional baits.  If you have any of these I'm looking for, and additional baits, LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE.  I am BUYING, though I will trade too, as always.

9/19 - I have a project I want to do!  I need a baity Quackers.  Well, somewhat baity.  I'm looking for one that is still pretty white and cancer free, but I don't care about the hair, or some marks being on her.  I want her for a rehair project, so please help!  ( Still not found, still wanting.  Will pay. )

Finally getting a want list.  I am currently: Trading and BUYING!

My sale list is http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,334096.msg917447.html#msg917447.

Anyways, I would like to pick up your baity Sugar Apples!  Everyone seems to have this pony on ebay, but for way too much.  I love her, but I'm only looking for ONE nice one, so let me know if you have a nice one too, but I want a Sugar Apple ARMY!  But I want all sorts of rehairs!  I don't want to chop hair off a nice one.  Even symbol damage is fine, because I would like to do an alt pose Blueberry Baskets and a Wind Whistler.

I also want your baity Surprise Poses!  I don't want Surprise herself, as she's so prone to yellowing and browning even in the best of conditions.  Tickle and Flutterbye are off the list as well.  I will take Heart Throbs and the such.  I would really, really, really like some buzzed up Honey Combs with bad symbols.  Please. . .!

I will also take trades of HAIR!  I don't have any hair to use right now, and dollyhair is so slow. . .  So, let me know what you have, and I'll trade you my ponies from your hair overstock.  :3

Aaaand, here's the rest of my wish list: ( Trading on these unless otherwise noted )

- Love deflocks.  I would loooove a Skippity Doo deflock, also Fifi.  I have deflocked Twilight, Paradise, Buttons and Truly just as a note.
- Baby Honeycomb
- Cranberry Muffins - Another I'm looking for an improvement of.
- Any of the romance ponies.
- Clover ( German clover )
- Sweet Clover
- Wave Runner ( With super good hair )
- Any Surprise pose Nirvana. ( Italy Surprise.  Want.  Will take a Pinwheel or Tickles as well )
- TE Quackers - but a minty one, one that's bright white with super silky hair.  I will take one with ruined hair, too, for rehairing.
- Crumpet - Looking for a deflock candidate.  Hair does not matter either.  Rehair and deflock would be fun to do.
- Firefly posed Nirvanas
- Starglow ( super soft hair.  Body can have small issues. )
- Lovestory
- Euro Clover
- Angel Deflocked or in needing Deflocking.  Also a flocked Angel that's in good condition.  Don't matter.  Gimme.  ( Buying a bait. )
- SS Twilight - I'll take these in any condition too, even though I already have a deflock.
- Satin N' Lace ( any, lavender, magenta or SS )
- Posey posed Nirvanas
- Princess Taffeta ( Any condition. )
- Princess Pristina  ( Any condition. )
- Princess Moondust ( Any condition. )

- I also would be happy to trade for G2's.  I'd like to expand my collection, as I only have two. . .  << >>

Pony Brag Arena / Grail! Yay!

So, I haven't been doing a lot of pony buying, but I have gotten here and there.  Really, I've been concentrating on getting the ones I really wanted before I got out of the pony fandom.  Previously, I had been a bad collector, just buying ALL the ponies.  And buying SETS, and now, I'm like, no, just what I like most.

Buuuut, Surprise pose has *always* been my favorite, and now I have a German Starshine!  There's just not enough US Surprise pose, so, got to get those few rare alt pose nirvanas!

Here she is:

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

She has some dark staining, but that's to be expected, but as far as I know, German Starshine *can* be sunfaded out, unlike Quackers or some of the other early white ponies, who can burn.  As far as I know, I saw someone have good experience with sunfading her.  :3

Plus, she's from Baby Applejack, and I know I'll get a lovely, beautiful pony.  :D

So, squeeee!

So, I bought a lot of ponies this past week, and I just got them in.  The pictures made them look in pretty good condition, but most of them really aren't.

The seller WAS pretty vague about the condition, and I probably should've asked, but several of them have MAJOR issues that I feel were obvious and should have been disclosed, and one of them was was photographed to hide her damage. . .

I have messaged the seller, but I don't really expect much to be done about it, due to the vagueness and such.  Really, I would just like a partial refund, of my shipping of $6 to basically cover the cost of one pony.

I paid $35 with shipping for eight ponies.  Most of them are fairly common.  I am thankful the main pony I was after IS in pretty good condition.  She has a body / head mismatch, but she's still a pretty big upgrade from the one I've just now traded out of my collection.

One pony has major hair cuts, and fairly evident regrind.

Another, a white pony, was taken with a picture with flash, to hide the fact that it looks like someone took a box cutter to her face( and various other parts of her body).  X_X  She also has a lot of multiple brown spots on her that are permanent.  They don't look like cancer, since there's only the marks, and none of the sort of ripple effect through the cancer. . .  Her hair is burned, and it's frizzy.

Most of the ponies have pretty frizzy hair.  The one that doesn't have frizzy hair is the one with the major haircuts.  LOL.  Go figure.

The rest are. . .eh, okay, they're currently going through the Raja Quik-E Spa, and I hope with that I can recoup the prices I paid for them.  I had bought them for three ponies, but will only be keeping one.  X_X  The rest were going to be for resale.  Being a lot, I did expect a lot of small play flaws. . .  Just not this much.

Oh well.  The silver lining was that I had been bidding on another lot of their's!  I got outbid!  They were a bunch of internationals which I was looking more for keeps.  I am definitely glad I didn't get them, even if I really wanted a nice German Bluebell, but I would've hated to be even more disappointed!

Trader & Shipping Support / Ebay - Evasive Seller - Buyer Beware
« on: July 12, 2013, 07:59:34 AM »
I haven't dealt with this person in terms of exchanging money, so I'll preface it with that.  However, I tried to ask her a couple questions regarding her ponies and she was really evasive about answering them.  Her feedback is. . .not that good, and a lot of it dealt with cigarette issues, so I messaged to find out whether the pony smelled like cigarettes or if she came from a smoking home.

The answer I got was "i dont know" and that was it.

So, I reiterated and asked if she could give a sniff test, I had allergies for cigarettes, and explained what I was asking for was if HER household was a smoking household.

I get an angry response not to bid, she doesn't know what the pony smells like, it's second hand ( yes, darling, I know ), she doesn't smoke ( note: she said she doesn't, but did not answer if her home was a smoking household ) and that it wouldn't be fair of me to buy it and leave her a negative.(If she had checked my feedback, she would've saw that I haven't left anyone a negative in a year, and likely longer than that, but ebay doesn't display that information.)  Pretty much flipped out, bad punctuation, overuse of caps, but not in the right spots, and I wrote back I wouldn't bid, not because I could not understand items were second hand, but that wasn't giving a clear answer, and seemed like she was being very, very evasive about everything.

This is the seller:  http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=mckinziesmom&&_trksid=p2047675.l2560&rt=nc&iid=171072960227&sspagename=VIP:feedback&ftab=FeedbackAsSeller

Pony Brag Arena / My first pony in two years!

And she's a Nirvana!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/My-little-Pony-German-Pony-Skydancer-other-50-ponies-for-sale-too-/360690131604?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&nma=true&si=wj46%252BjHOwUUhYVrN3P3RGQICFeo%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I accidentally forgot I was bidding with quids and not dollars, and that was the only reason I won her.  I had planned to put $30usd on her, and I really have no clue if I got her for a good price or not, but she seems to be in lovely condition and beautiful, so I'm pleased.

I kind of feel she's my first Nirvana.  I have a few Italians, like Heartthrob and Applejack, and then I have some Euro-exclusives, but this one is an alt-post, so very happy!
