Hey all!
I'm thinking about significantly reducing my g3s and want your opinions about the current market. I've been away from the pony community for about a year and a half with pregnancy and a now 8 month old baby.
I've searched the Arena but am only finding old threads about G3 demand. I no longer know (other than a handful of obvious ones) which G3 sets might be worth a bit more or if they are all still relatively low in value. I have the opportunity to sell (for free!) in a second hand store locally for basically original retail cost ($5-7 for MIB). I think i would probably do well this holiday season and a big chunk would disappear fast!
While I would love to sell on here, it honestly isn't worth my time to sell 1 or 2 ponies to a single person at a time when you factor in PayPal fees, shipping and materials. However, if there is interest in entire sets to one person or ponies worth a bit more...
I'll probably keep the original wave. I quit collecting at Core 7 but have quite a bit before that (no birthstones or birthflowers). I also have quite a few playsets but wonder if shipping makes them hard to sell online. Thoughts?

I used them to decorate my dorm room so there are push pin holes in corners and some have residue from a sillyputty-like stuff that doesn't damage walls when hanging posters (not sticky anymore). Otherwise, very nice. No creases or tears. Excuse the caulking! LOL! It was sitting there so I used it! Hello! I'm super excited about my first child who will be here in just 3 short weeks! I've had a really good pregnancy (except the first trimester- yuck!) and was disappointed to learn she's breech which means I'll be having a C-section. Bummer. I was hoping to hear from some of you about your experiences. I know about the procedure itself so I'm not really looking to hear about that part but maybe how you felt about it or how your recovery went. I'm feeling apprehensive and worried about the pain and emotions afterward. I'm just over 37 weeks and I've been told (and read on the interwebs!) that it's unlikely she'll turn around on her own at this point since there isn't much room in there! I have been doing some hip elevations on the slim chance that might get her to move, though. Anyone had any luck naturally turning a breech baby? ETA: Well, I made it through the C-section! Thanks to all who commented your support! I appreciate it! She absolutely was not going to turn! The doctor had a heck of a time getting her out of there! My very brave husband watched the whole thing. YUCK! The C-section was both not as bad and, at the same time, worse than I expected. The hardest part was definitely the day after and then having to try and recover from major surgery AND take care of a newborn! Luckily, my husband and mother were able to tag team and stay with me in the hospital. Found this at the thrift shop and it tickles my memory but I haven't been able to find anything about it. I thought at first it was a zebra but then realized I'm a doof and I think it's a white tiger (which would explain the fangs... duh, Aadra). Anyway, it used to talk or make noise with a AAA battery in the bottom but it doesn't work, anymore. 1994 Lanard China marking on back of head. Not sure if this is the right forum but I just saw that a custom that I made for a swap is up for sale on eBay. As are a whole bunch of others from diffferent people.
Search "*removed per site rules" - kkat*to find them all just in case you might want one of yours back!
Now, I completely realize that once given, a pony belongs to that person and they can do what they want with it.
edit: went back through my records to find who got the pony and I am contacting them with a request to remove my user name from the auction title as that makes me uncomfortable.
edit: because my pony was a swap and therefore a gift and not a purchase, I would have really liked to be notified by the seller (assuming it's the person who originally got the pony) so I could possibly buy it back. It was just by chance I stumbled upon the auction and would not have normally ever seen my custom for sale.
I was initially more upset about this but I think it was illness and a long day talking. I still don't like my user name in the auction title but, other than that, I'm not angry with the seller.
So, maybe somebody will spot one of their old works of art! Happy customizing!
