Customs / Pus Pie ~ A Zombie pony~~~~GORE WARNING~~~
« on: February 19, 2014, 02:28:39 PM »
So seeing all these cool zombie ponies  here, I have been wanting to try my hand at a Zombie MLP for awhile. With only a few commission I found time to fit one in. So Pus Pie was formed. Finished her in two days.  Bones and Muscles are hand scuplted.  never thought i would be applying my animal anatomy class to this. There's your college money at its finest.
Water washed in many layers to give the dry cracking skin affect. Added puscules and some what transparent blood.  For my first attempt Im rather please with how she turned out.
Sorry She was snatched up before I even got her done.

Customs / My Minion, Quacker Snail and Lionfish
« on: February 18, 2014, 01:03:38 PM »
Well I finished all my loose commissions and had a little spare time (that is if you call it that between 4 year old tempertatrums and 2 year old fits).
So here we go,
First is My Minion~ not sure on which minion ( Jerry?).  My kids love this movie, if I have to sit and watch it for hours at a time might as well make a pony of it at the same time... Right.......
So anyways to the details.. coveralls and boots are sculpted even included treed on the boot bottoms. I used many layered washes to give the cloth more life. Goggles have plastic lens that I kept sticking my fingers or would haze over 15 minutes later..ggrrr.. After the 4 attempt I finally got a pair that turned out ok.    $45

Baby Quackers~  another snail pony. I had major trouble with this one. the bait, a rock hard rusty BBE sundance would not behave. First have cleaning it with acetone, twice! the clay would release after harding. Broke a couple blades trying to cut the holes needed (honestly I think I could of cut through a rock faster). Not real fond on how the eyes turned out, the crystals are set into the clay as I sculpted each stalk, but  getting them to look right when adding the eyelids... Grrr.
The  shell and duck are sculpted also. the little umbrella was a bit of a challenge as I  made  it with wire and Fantasy film. Add some little drops of water to it and the shell. Didnt turned out how i wanted but not back. For Sale. $50

Cute little Lionfish G3 baby, rehaired in Kiss of Death, tangirine and one other. Hair is put up with oil sheen black crystals. $25

So anyway these are freehand ones, wont bore you with the 15 Nirvana remakes I did this last month. Enjoy

Customs / Al-ahmar and African Elephant
« on: January 21, 2014, 03:20:28 PM »
Alahmar means "the bay" in Arabic and I hope I got the translation right as it is written down the leg. Based off a arabian horse in tradition arab horse attire. Arbrushed, sculpted with apoxie scuplt and hand painted. Accented with hand made tassels, reins and rhinestones. Next time I'm going to sculpt the tassels, these where a pain to do. Tail is poseable so can be down or up in the arabian way.  I tried making the eyes look real.  Trimmed the bangs a little to short, darn dull scissors.
 For Sale $75

Had some extra green clay that need to be used from a snail project , this was the result. Hind leg grass is scuplted, Rest is hand painted. Based off an African elephant. For Sale for $30

« on: January 08, 2014, 02:27:08 AM »
Aethel Wyh means "Noble Friend" in the old language. which I thought would work perfect for this custom of a veteran war horse.
Scuplted with Apoxie and then hand painted in many layers of wash. I love how he turned out.  when I started I had the intention of sell him...... maybe.. can't decide.
I left his back open so can be used as a Storage spot for ....pencils ??????

Customs / Equestria girls Queen Chrysalis

This is my third attempt at doll making. Queen Chrysalis. Started off as Fluttershy with a full body repaint, with clothes added on by ether glueing or, "I did attempt " sewing. Rehaired in Pacific ocean, a tad bluer then I was hoping but it was what i had on hand. Also she has a whole lot more hair so its more puffer then attended. The wings are removable and have been Altered to give more of a ragged look.  She might be spoken for.
Enjoy.
Who should I do next?

« on: December 16, 2013, 05:53:21 AM »
So this was my last commission just finished. Off the board she wanted a Granny smith that was Close to Show accurate That could handle light play. Hips, rump, face have been resculpted with wrinkles detailed. Shaw is hand sewn (so wished she wanted sculpted instead) with apples hand painted on. Enjoy
