Hi! I am decorating a miniature room display box and decided that Calico Critters are the most adorable families to display in there. So, I need some! The species I am most interested in are
1) bunnies
2) cats
3) kangaroos
4) Squirrels, mice, chipmunks and other woodland
I'm interested in babies, children, and adults, newer or vintage is fine. Trying to keep costs down so I'd prefer them unboxed, so used ones are just fine! I can also trade for items on my trade list!

So I went ahead and got both of the families I "needed" for my party scene- the deer family and tux cat family! I realized at 8:30 last night that I hadn't made up my mind, and the sale was almost over, so I zoomed to the store and snatched them up! Even with the 40% discount the two families came to just under $40, still quite a lot for some bittle aminals... oh well! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I've read once or twice here on the Arena conspiracy theories about how AJ is being phased out of the main six. I always think, "they're (Hasbro) not really doing this..." I mean, if she's left out of a wave release, maybe it's just coincidence? After all she was in the masquerade wave, the rainbow hair wave, and she's still on racks packaged with Cadence. Then I saw this puzzle at a local dollar store: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLOL! Can you see her there? Poor gal! And now I'm back to wondering! Do you have any funny stories or pictures about how somepony is being excluded?

Hi! Found these around. I'm pretty sure that the two cats are Calico Critters, but the other ones... Maple Town or Forest Friends? They have squishier bodies than the cats. I'm not familiar with the non-Calico Critter line. Can anyone help identify these animals? Like what line and what species are they supposed to be? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

But I DID buy a can of alphabet soup, because my Japanese exchange student has never heard of them before, so American culture and whatnot. I am planning some major improvements and expansion of my pony room, so I need to box up the plastic beauties for a while. But how? I don't want them to get damaged while in storage, like rubs, sticking plastic, flat hair etc. Individual ziplocks? Simple tissue paper? Plastic bin or cardboard box? How does everypony else safely store their collections when not on display?
I'me sure this must have been discussed before... if there's another thread on this please feel free to post the link!

Found these in the impulse zone at Target checkout. Couldn't believe my eyes! They looked bagged for a foreign market. I stalked every checkout and these were all the different ponies I found- Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Apple Jack, Rarity, Cheerilee with three flowers, Lyra Heart Strings, and Lily Blossom.
