Back in 2005 an American manga company, named ADV, bought the rights for a Japanese manga series called "The First King Adventure." Sadly ADV only released volumes 1 and 2 of this great manga series before going bankrupt. For years and years I've been hoping some other company would pick up the series, but no one has. And I'm dying to know what happens! 

I recently discovered this entire 8-volume set was translated into German in 2005 and is available on German Amazon. I was thinking I would like to order this set. If I can't read it, I could at least look at the pictures and try to figure out what's going on. (Yes, I am that desperate to have this story! I also own a lot of Japanese manga even though I don't read Japanese writing lol.)

Could any German people here on the Arena help me out with ordering? If German Amazon will only ship to Germany, would you perhaps be willing to order this set for me and then ship it to me? I will cover all costs of course. I just really want this set!

Anyone have any advice? I've already tried ebay.com and Amazon.com, they don't carry the German (or Japanese) versions of this manga.

So I recently found one of my childhood ponies--Merry Go Round Sunnybunch! I was delighted until I tried to put her on my display shelf and realized why she was my least favorite of my childhood ponies.... she doesn't stand on her own.

This doesn't seem to be an issue of the plastic getting squished over time. I don't think it's something I can fix by putting a pen between her legs for a few weeks. It seems to be a problem with the mold itself. The left front leg that is pointing backward seems to be almost a full inch shorter than her other legs, so it doesn't even touch the ground. Because of her pose, she's way off balance and falls over every time.

Is this common with Sunny Bunch? I've never seen another in real life--for all I know, they all fall over!

And does anyone have any suggestions? Other than propping her up on another pony, I did think of that already. Right now it looks like Tassles is helping her get home after a night of a few too many.

Sigh. I just -knew- this was going to happen. Now I don't know what to do.

I bought a lot of blind bag ponies from one of the many Chinese sellers that have popped up on ebay lately. The blind bags were a random assortment of many different waves, including a bunch that haven't even been released yet (they're from the anticipated wave 6, I think...)

It was an impulse buy and after I made the bid I really hoped I would be outbid by someone, but unfortunately I wasn't and I ended up paying. It was $25 plus $10 shipping, so $35 altogether.

After I paid, I noticed something about the pictures in the auction. The first picture was a 'group shot' of all the blind bag figures in the lot. After that picture, there was a bunch of additional pictures that were larger shots of the ponies included, like 3 or 4 for each picture so you could see details of the figures. I noticed in one of these photos a couple of the blind bag ponies shown weren't in the 'group shot' first photo. ...Including a particularly rare blind bag figure I really wanted.

At the time I wondered if the additional photo was put in the auction by mistake because I didn't see the ponies in the 'group shot' photo, but I figured I would wait to see when the auction arrived.

Of course the box arrived today and the only ones inside are the ones in the first 'group shot', none of the ones that were in the other picture and of course, not the rare one I wanted.

So now... sigh. I don't know what to do. It's going to be a hassle first of all because I bet it's going to be difficult to communicate with this seller since they're based in China, plus they do hundreds of auctions a day by the looks of it so I'm just one in a hundred.

And it seems like the one particular photo was included in the auction by mistake maybe, since the ponies weren't in the 'group shot'? I dunno if they even have those ponies around, let alone if they'd mail them to me. But I was -really- looking forward to the rare one that didn't get included. :\

Advice? Options? Am I out of luck since I didn't inquire about it before I bid? Has anyone else had to deal with these Chinese pony sellers on ebay with items not arriving as shown? I'm so disappointed but don't know if I really have the right to object at this point. :\

I have some mint copies of the 4 wal-mart posters and I was wondering if anyone would like to trade them for G4 blind bags? I figure this is a fair trade since the blind bags are small and inexpensive, and I'll have to buy special shipping tubes to ship the posters safely, so it evens out.

I would also trade a poster or two for FiM Gold Foil Trading Card Princess Luna, the last one I need.

Hey guys!

I have a thread in the FIM section but it's been up for days with only one response, so I'm thinking maybe there's no interest in this... or maybe people just aren't checking the FIM section?

Would anyone be interested at all in buying dresses that the FS ponies could wear that look like the dresses from the show, either the wedding dresses or the Gala ones?

My step-mom and I are just starting to take some sewing classes together and I thought about making some pony outfits based on what they wear on the show. For now I'm going to be working with the FS size but I might do the regular brushable size too if people prefer that? (And if I can work that small lol)

I'm just wondering if there would be any interest in this at all. Please let me know, as I don't want to start a big project and buy a bunch of fabric if dressing up your FS ponies in different outfits is something only I'm crazy enough to do. ;;

Over the weekend I found a store selling the fakies that were super popular from the dollar stores a few years ago. The ones that use the mold of the G1 newborn babies and make great custom bait bodies.

The thing is, they are $2.70 for each package, and the package comes with one baby pony and one other fakie, a rearing one that in no way resembles a G1 lol. Also the newborn babies were only white with blue hair, not a variety of colors like in the dollar store.

Is there still a huge demand for these babies? If a lot of people want them I could go and pick them up, but it's a little bit of a drive for me and I'd need to charge $3 each to get back the cost and the money I would spend on gas, etc.

Just wanted to let the pony community know that these are still around, sort of. Let me know if the demand for these is worth the $3 each and I'll go pick up all the ones they had. I'm not a customizer but I know a lot of people loved these babies when they were around!

My friend and I are going to try for a complete G4 collection. (This may be a silly dream. I very quickly gave up my plans for a complete G3 collection when I realized how many were coming out. )

My friend isn't the type of person who buys a lot online, and isn't here on the Arena or MLPTP, so I'm also purchasing for her.

I would love it if I could find a trading partner overseas and we could trade, rather than trying to purchase these pricey ponies on ebay. I would be happy to pick up Target exclusives, McD ponies, or any other pony stuff you need that is only available in the US, to trade for the following four G4's:
