Someone PINCH ME PLEASE??? My book just won the 2012 Next Generation Indie Book Award (category: Children's/Juvenile Fiction). Um, yes, gold medal and national recognition?! WAKE ME UP ... AM I DREAMING??
My publisher is FREAKING. OUT. Says sales are going to skyrocket. AND jumping up and down for the next book (the other was the first of a series).
All future printings of my book are going to have this big shiny gold foil medallion on them. Every library in the country wants a copy. I'm like... WUT.

I never expected to find stuff like this in Iowa! But a lady had a CL lot - and she happened to be from England. Coolness!! Firstly, I was psyched about the G2 wedding chapel with Dainty Dove. Even had her veil!! Katana is rehaired in DH Black Magick and a blend of DH purples. She's painted with acrylics; her swirls have an overlay of black glitter acrylic. Her earrings & nose ring are Swarovski crystals. She has a rhinestone twister hair thingy in her updo. I finally found a worthy bait for Colorscapesart's glorious dyed rainbow hair that I purchased a while back. This hair ... is DIVINE. It's soft as baby bunny fur and the colors are so vibrant. About a year ago I got a SS Gusty whose fuzz, hair, and symbol were all destroyed. But I was amazed to discover that underneath the filthy fur, her body was not bad! I decided to use the CSA rainbow hair on her; and for the symbol, I wanted to keep it subtle, but sparkly; so she has white swirls, overlaid with hologram glitter, and accented with rainbow Swarovski crystals.
