I saw some of an episode of Caught on Camera when they were talking about hoarders. I saw a Newborn Cuties toy in a pile of stuff.

Pony Corral / How do you get the dirty spots off white ponies?« on: January 25, 2013, 06:58:25 AM »
I'm having a problem with white G4 ponies. They always get dirty somehow, like they have these weird and kind of rough dirty spots on them. A long time ago I tried washing Rarity, but it didn't work. Is there a way to clean them without painting them or buying new ones?
Also, is there a way to keep white ponies from getting the dirt spots to begin with? Today I got Diamond Rose and haven't opened her yet, and I don't want it to get those dirty spots. 3

I had problems with depression and anxiety for years. My depression seems to be gone now, but my anxiety has gotten a lot worse in recent years.

I wasn't sure what to vote for. Some people think I might have AS, but I haven't been tested or anything yet. There's been something wrong for years now yet I can't seem to get a diagnosis. I was tested for ADD and/or ADHD when I was around twelve or thirteen, though, and they said I don't have it.

Japanese Sweet Lolita (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lolita_fashion) dresses. They are seriously the cutest clothes EVER to me. Unfortunately, they are usually ridiculously expensive.

Pony Corral / Re: G4 Ponies who have been released but never found by some« on: May 25, 2012, 01:26:05 AM »
There seem to be loads of recolors that I never see in stores around where I live. I have also seen no blindbags or toys boxed with DVD's. However, I went to a store about four hours away from where I live (I was on a trip and stopped there) and was amazed. They had a bunch of ponies I had never seen in stores, all the regular ponies they had were packaged with The Ticket Master, and they had puzzles packaged with little toys. I was able to get Flitterheart and the three puzzles from there. Another time I took a trip and stopped there (last summer), they had a MLP backpack and a big coloring thing, both of which I got and have never seen at any store since.

Pony Corral / Re: ...G5...« on: May 20, 2012, 09:42:52 PM »Quote Do you have any idea how much making a single episode would cost, let alone a full 26 episode season? I mean that they could help, not fund the whole show themselves. I mean I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of bronies made some sort of campaign/fundraiser thing to help out the show. Regardless if it works or not it would show how dedicated the fans are; too dedicated to just dump the show after it ends. There are high quality fan creations that I'm sure would continue to be made. Already bronies make their own animations that have good quality, not quite show quality, but still very good. If the show ends you can be sure that groups dedicated to making fan episodes that continue where the series left off will pop up. 8

Wow, I disagree with a lot of what's been said in this topic. Maybe it's because I'm a brony and I spend most of my MLP related internet time on FiM focused sites rather than general MLP ones. I don't think G4 is going anywhere anytime soon. In fact, I think it will last far longer than past gens, maybe to the point that they will either never revamp it again or have a G5 alongside G4. Or maybe revamp the toys, but leave the show (new looking pony toys based off the show characters. The toys look a lot different from the show anyway, so maybe G5 would be a show accurate revamp?).
Friendship is Magic has accomplished something amazing, something that I have never seen ANY fandom accomplish, ever. The community is HUGE and absolutely amazing, and for the first time, mostly adult men! Adult men with money. Money they can spend on merch. If FiM goes, they will take their money elsewhere. If it stays, especially if it updates to a show accurate G5... loads and loads of cash for Hasbro, from kids, bronies, toy collectors, general MLP fans, etc. It's a win-win: Hasbro gets money, fans get show and better merch. The show is amazingly popular, as far as I know much more popular than any previous MLP cartoon. It's created an amazing and diverse fanbase that is, while unlikely, very loyal to the show. The creators of the show and Hasbro both love them. The Hub loves them. Why would they want to be rid of them? They do amazing things. Not just fan art and such, but they're even making a COMMERCIAL that The Hub supports! I've yet to see another fan base do something like that. All this is only scratching the surface. There is so much more to FiM/bronies, and I find it silly when people say stuff like "Oh, it's aimed at kids, so it won't last long." I also think the brony community will survive even after the show ends. The episodes will still exist, even if no new ones are made. Besides, knowing how much the community accomplishes, I wouldn't be too surprised if they held a successful fundraiser to keep the show going! 9
Pony Corral / Re: What's the latest pony or MLP item you bought?« on: May 19, 2012, 10:27:05 PM »
Fruit snacks! But the last toys were two puzzles, one with a small Fluttershy figure and another with Pinkie Pie.

Rainbow Dash + Fluttershy
Twilight Sparkle + Rarity Pinkie Pie + Cupcake Applejack + Flitterheart Blossomforth + Dewdrop Dazzle Ploomette + Lulu Luck Pairing ponies is fun! The reasons I have for the non-show ponies involve the personality/story I've created for them. Also, Cheerilee wants a very special somepony and hopes someday the one for her will enter the herd. 11
Pony Corral / Re: I Met a Pony Fan! But I Think I Scared Him« on: May 19, 2012, 10:08:40 PM »
Unfortunately, I have not met a fellow pony fan irl as far as I know. I hope I will eventually, though. I certainly don't keep my love for the series a secret. I carry around a pony bag, sometimes with a few McDonalds toys clipped to it. I have a MLP advertisement from a toy in my wallet, in the clear window thing. I take my ponies with me on trips and set them up, play brony music, watch the show, etc. I'm too shy to go up to people and ask if they like MLP, but I'm sure some people who see me irl wouldn't have a hard time figuring out that I love ponies. I really hope that one day, a brony will see me with my bag or something. I even put a sticker on it that says "20% cooler" so they would know I'm not just using it because it's cute.

Thanks for welcoming me! These forums seem very nice. From reading some topics here and such, I'm kind of starting to want to collect some of the older gen toys. I'm not sure if I can, but they seem really nice. G4 is still my favorite by far, but I am starting to like the older ones more than before. I've also started liking the toys I already have more thanks to these forums!

Pony Corral / Re: Pony quality.« on: May 17, 2012, 08:32:17 PM »
I've noticed some errors with G4 toys and wondered if others had similar ones too. The worst by far is actually on my Fashion Style Twilight Sparkle. One of the eyes has a ridiculous scratch, almost like a cut. Like somepony took a sharp object and scratched at it repeatedly.
Then there are smaller things. Some of the toys eyes don't line up properly. Some of them are obviously off the mark they were meant to be placed on. Some of my McDonald's ones have paint in the wrong places, but they ARE Happy Meal toys. Also, Rarity gets dirty amazingly easily. I washed her with soap and water, yet the marks still won't come off. I'm not even sure how they got there. At first I thought my hands were dirty, but I'm a bit of an obsessive hand washer, so how could that be? The other white ponies aren't as bad, probably because Rarity was my first pony toy. 14

Unicorns are my favorite. I liked unicorns even before I liked My Little Pony. They were actually part of what got me into the series; one of the reasons I bought my first pony toy was because it was a unicorn.

Introductions / Hiya, everypony!« on: May 17, 2012, 07:29:45 PM »
Hi, everypony! I'm new to these forums. I'm an eighteen year old female brony, and I live in Michigan. I first got into My Little Pony sometime last year, I think around spring. A friend told me that I should check out MLP:FiM since it was made by Lauren Faust, and both of us are fans of the PPG. I didn't really care much for ponies in general then, although I thought unicorns were pretty and I loved collecting cute toys and stuff. Like Littlest Pet Shop.
I bought a G3.5 coloring book because I thought it was cute, but I didn't really get into MLP until I bought one of the toys. It was a G4 toy, Rarity. I bought it because I liked unicorns and I thought it looked really pretty. From there I got into MLP:FiM, eventually started watching episodes on The Hub, and started collecting more pony toys. All of them are G4, though I have a few G3.5 coloring books. I'm not too into the older gens, but I do think they're cute, G3.5 especially. I rented the Twinkle Wish Adventure movie once and liked it. Sometimes I feel a little odd for liking G3.5 since it seems to be the most unpopular, but oh well. Anyway, I hope to have a fun time posting here!
