Hi everyone,
Thank you for having me here. I am from NZ and have been starting restoring some old my little ponies to give them a second lease on life. I am frequently unable to be sitting upright so it is a labour of love and a task of many weeks. All done with a cuddle kitty who demands work stop for extra cuddles, and now two rescue ducklings peeping happily in the background. :)
Most the ponies I rescue I love dearly but there is a lot to learn. I hope I do them justice. Even though they start out as what others would call bait I do not think of them that way so it is a process to find out how and if restoration is possible, source materials and equipment on a tight budget, and then find a day to repair them in many stages over many days. Many many days now with rescue ducklings needing lots of love aka feeding & cleaning brooding box 6 times a day or more :)
Looking forward to meeting and sharing with you all and I will probably learn lots in the first 2 months.
