I got some Apoxie Sculpt & shaped it into legs, arms, head, nose, cheeks, neck, ear flaps, tuft, spikes, fingers, toes, eyebrows, & main body, then assembled the pieces. I propped him up with a piece of paper so he can stand up, though he looks a little lop-sided, which I think is cute. his nostrils, mouth & belly ridges were carved in, & his tuft textured a little. Once he was dry I began painting, which was hard, especially round the fiddly areas on the head. But I got his main paints on, his tuft paint on, & his eyes panted.
I hope you like him xxx

Aww he's so cute and shiny. Did you glaze him? I like G3 Spike, he's polite but has a mischievous streak.

Great work, he's cute! And since the challenge we did this spring I have a newly found respect for anyone who can sculpt little critters like this, again I noticed how hard it is! Especially with Apoxie that has such a narrow window for optimal working conditions...
-
Yep, though the hardest part was getting him propped up so he could dry with his belly off the ground!!! I did him in parts as it was easier that way...
-
I really love him :inlove:
