Title: Best way to display ponies?

I just recently got myself a bookcase from Ikea and I was wondering what everyone uses to better display ponies? I'm looking at acrylic risers but also wanted to know if there was anything cheaper I could use that still looked nice! Pictures and links very much appreciated!!

I use white guttering, it works well and you can cut it to the length you need :) It is pretty economical as well.

I made my own risers out of foam board and glue.

They aren’t the cheapest, but they fit all my ponies really well! Plus the G3s stick to them which is nice! :P The only ponies that don’t work well with them in my collection are the G1s. Some of their poses are a little too big and they hang off the edge

Thank you for the suggestions, everyone! I went out shopping the other day and found these magazine files that were on sale, so I painted them and glued them together! Works great, but now I realize I already need more space for my ponies!! Time to buy another bookshelf

Dang this is smart. Wish I’d seen it sooner as I’ve already started buying clear risers and I’m a stickler for continuity.

In my case, I used craft boards of varying widths for risers. I drilled holes in the sides of the bookcase for metal pins for the risers to rest on, then used a router to cut grooves for the risers to rest on the pins, then stained them to match the bookcase.

I've also done much more simple ones just by making them out of cardboard and hot glue.
