it started with getting my baby sea ponies from storage. Then I found that I had drawn symbols on them as a kid so couldnt sell them. I found a uk exclusive in a charity shop but with no floaty, went online and won a lot that had her floaty BUT had other sea ponies that needed their floatys as well AND floatys that needed sea ponies..
so I give up,,, I now collect sea ponies.
anyone else had this?

I'm curious about which area ponies you found!
I do have this problem. I found accessories from G2 playsets that up until finding them I was not interested in. Researching what they were made me want them. :lol:

I don't even take baths yet here I am collecting bath toys.

I never was into sea ponies until my daughter liked them Now I fondly think of Tiny bubbles and Wave dancer. :) I do have more seaponies because of all of this.

lol i'm sure you know. don't play with them in the bath. that's something i wish my child self knew :sad:

I must have liked them once as I drew symbols on them, but now... I just dont feel drawn to them at all.

I'm still determined to not collect sea ponies even though I've had several come my way. Nothing wrong with them, but I don't think they are a set I could complete and there is nothing about them in particular I want.
So Softs did grow on me, though. I thought the problem with flocking coming off or being hard to clean would be a turn off, but I found so many with nice flocking that I love them now. They really are fun to touch!
And I think the most recent pony thing I caved into after getting a few was the G1 Basic Funs. Found some thrifting and some new in store and some in good lots and now I need to finish at least the singles.
