Title: Clever ways to display your ponies?
Post by: ponyproblem on January 09, 2023, 07:04:14 PM
Do you have any different or unusual ways to display your ponies? I am looking for ideas to display my collection and wanted to show mine!

I was sad that I had nothing to display my one sea pony sea spray on, but found in storage the old shell lamp that I had as a child, and she fits in perfectly!

I didn't like this pony much as a child because she could not stand on her own. I did not have the shell display for her because she was second hand. She is one of my favourites now. :)
I am hoping to find another sea pony to sit in the other side of the shell with her in the future!

What a neat lamp! She looks good there :)

Someone on the forums displays their seaponies in an aquarium, but I can't remember who it is. Hopefully they'll post.

When I get mine out, I place them in rows on my dresser top. I thought about doing something different to change it up. :|

As a kid I always wanted a castle for my ponies.
As an adult I found that castle and renovated it for a display case for them.

You might need to upload it to a different host. ImgBB (https://imgbb.com/) is a good one.

Also here's an informative thread - https://mlparena.com/index.php?topic=403706.0

I have my G3’s on an oil pan. Someone had suggested it awhiiiiile ago, can’t remember who though.

I know it’s not practical for unmagnetized ponies, but it’s still fun to share.
Also, these are my G4’s on a spice shelf.  :inlove:

Not the most incredible way to display ponies, but I've been using floral foam as risers. I get seasonal foliage (fake, of course) and picks to stab in there every holiday and mix things up a lot. :) I don't have a lot of shelf space so everything gets rotated every few months. Like I get out my autumny and Halloween ponies the end of August and I get out the Halloween picks and the autumn leaves. Right now for winter I have some glittery pine picks in there and I strung little fake lights on them for Christmas.

I need to find something for summer. After Easter Walmart goes full-on America through Memorial Day and Fourth of July, and after Fourth of July everything gets turned into Back-to-School, and after Back-to-School is Halloween... :/ I could always browse Michaels, they should be my best bet, but I want to see everything in person before I buy because these things tend to be too big for my shelf and I want to make sure everything would fit. I rarely get to go to Michaels, it's too far out of the way...

The G3s on the pan is such a clever idea! I did not know their magnets were string enough to hold their whole body!

This castle is so pretty, does it have a name? I have never seen it before. The sea pony sticker on the bottom section is so sweet.  ^.^
