After going through my entire life without ever doing a halloween customs swap, this year I did TWO!
One was a private one with a "real life" friend and one was for the Arena swap.
I've been wanting to do a carousel-esque pony for a while now, so I decided to try that for my private swap. I used Apoxie Sculpt. Painting the spiderweb blanket was the funnest part, it was much easier than I expected - luckily I thought to paint the white first, heh heh. Not sure if you can tell, but the dark thing on her chest is a bat...

This one was for the Arena simple swap. She has some fine gold glittery paint on the pumpkins and on the text on her reverse side, and her eyes have fine glittery red paint on the iris. My partner said she liked the old timey vintage Halloween style, so I triiiiiied to emulate that. She has a kitty friend who is just a Schleich cat with a minor adjustment to the tail and a paint job. I went through about a dozen different hair color/pattern choices before finally deciding on this somewhat wacky stripe look

In conclusion I enjoyed my first halloween swap experiences!

:iconclap: Wow! They are truly magnificent!
The carousel-esque pony has great details! I love its color combination (green and red).
Love the look on that purple pony! It looks just like those pumpkins were also made of Apoxie Sculpt, but they are painted on a pony! :wow:

Great job! I love the carousel pony, the details are really cute! Plus I always love green ponies :)
I think you did well at imitating the vintage look.

Wow, I bet your swap partners would be thrilled to receive either of those two cuties! Great job! Sculpting looks so difficult, and your carousel pony came out looking fab!

They are both stunning! Fantastic sculptwork on the MGR pony, and I always love a classic Halloween pony like the second one. :jack:

those are great

I just love that little saddle on the first one! And I love that different head on the purple one! Those are so cool! :)

Those are a lot of fun! I really like the purple one myself and the way you painted the old wooden fence with the pumpkins. As though someone is going to use them for shooting practice! And the way her eyes are all boggly and scary.
