I love the Baby Rainbows. I know I often tend to go for the simpler ones, but their colours are lovely too.

Difficult choice between teeny tiny babies, fancy mermaid and ballerinas... but I have to pick the ballerinas. I love them.

Tough choice, it's a toss-up between the Sparkle babies and Drink n Wets. But I think I'll go with the sparkles. I like the rainbows and paradise babies too. Pity the latter is so expensive.

I voted for the Rainbow babies, but the Teeny Tiny babies (both sets - can't pick between them!) are a close second :) And I love Baby Princess Sparkle too - one of the prettiest G1s IMO - but the question was for 'sets' so I felt weird picking a single pony ^^;

Omg I can't decide!!
This was the year I was just getting old enough to really want to start collecting. I think I ended up getting one baby from each of these sets lol. The Ballerina Baby and Sparkle Baby were among my favorites as a kid, but considering from an adult perspective which set I think is the best... hmm... :wonder:

Rainbow Babies, for sure. Teeny Tiny Babies are a close second.

I voted for the baby sparkle ponies (I have three of them - I think), but I also really like the baby rainbow ponies. I've never had any of those, though. :cry:

I have to go with the paradise babies or rainbow baby set. I voted for the later. I also like the sparkle baby set it was hard to choose.

This one is a little tough for me, but I think I'll go with the Paradise Babies and Fancy Mermaid babies.

I'm surprised to see people say they like the Teeny Tinies! A lot of people say they don't like how they look.

Went for the baby Rainbows, as they were available on both sides of the Atlantic & are so cute.
Over here we had Playschool Babies, Starlight Babies (instead of the Sparkle Babies), Best Friend Babies with pets, Jewellery Babies, Sweetie Babies, Bedtime Newborns, Seaside Babies, & Surprise Newborns, others too but those ones stick out for me. My faves of those are the Bedtime Newborns, for being adorable, bright, & night-time-themed!!!
Fave of the US but not UK ones (note, this means were available in, not exclusive to; if I mean exclusive I'll say exclusive) is the Paradise Bay set.
Also to note: our Family Ponies I class as one set of nine, with six adults & three Babies, because that's how they're often pictured

I hope we get a "favourite UK/Euro exclusive sets" poll (polls?) later :) I like most of the 90s UK/Euro sets better than the US releases.

I almost voted for Baby Sparkle Ponies, I have the complete set and love them. However, I find their inexplicably recycled names annoying! Why couldn't Europe share theirs?! :pout: Otherwise, in all sincerity, I think the Baby Rainbow Ponies are slightly cooler. I only have Baby Rainribbon... for now.

Yes, I voted for the drink'n'wet babies! I don't know why but I love them. Maybe it is the accessories, their color schemes, the fact that I had one as a kid...maybe because I'm an aquatic biologist and they involve water? Rainbow babies were a close second, and I see they were a popular pick!

I chose Baby Princess Sparkle because I desperately wanted her as a child. She was among the first ponies I bought when I started collecting as an adult so I think I’m just biased by my nostalgia.
I do agree that it would be nice to have a poll for other regions/countries releases too. There are so many lovely ponies that were not released in the US.

I love the mermaid trio and then a tie between the rainbow and Paradise Baby Ponies then the sparkle ones.

I also remember being very fond of my single Drink 'n Wet baby! Not for the gimmick, but I really liked her colors (lavender with pink hair which is standard for MLP but as a kid I liked it XD ) and also I think because she was a little larger than the other babies? It made me think she was an older kid, and I liked that.

This is a hard one to pick from! I ended up picking the Ballerina ones! I was a Ballerina for 18 years!

I'm not a fan of the original rainbow ponies because it bothers me that their manes are all the same colors but the baby rainbow ponies are really cute and vibrant and have slightly different colors from each other baby rain ribbon is one of my grails right now

I would've loved to have had a sparkle baby pony.. I was fascinated by those at the time.. I remember having two adult sparkle ponies, Sunspot for sure, and I think maybe Twinkler but I'm not sure..

Had to go with the Fancy Mermaid Ponies. They're all cool, but the Fancy Mermaid Ponies won out for me by virtue of being the only mermaid ponies in G1 - they're the sole set that establishes those as a thing in G1.
