Published in a licensing magazine. It's nice imo! Curious to see what they'll do to celebrate the whole of the brand.

Ohhhh, the original rainbow makes me feel so nostalgic!
Not only is this a really cute logo, but it must mean we'll be getting some kind of retro merch or products!

I still have twitches when I see 1983 on things, rather than 1982...but that aside, it's nice to know they're recognising the milestone.
I don't really like the font of the logo, it's too G4-G5ish for me, but I understand why it's that way. I DO like the rainbow though.
Maybe the lettering will grow on me.

My guess is they used the G5 font to keep it visually tightly connected to the current line. I don't mind the font, but I could have done without the ombre fill. I would have filled the individual letters with the colors of the rainbow to tie it nicely together. It's nit-picky though.

It makes sense they'd use the G5 logo for this since that's the current one. I assume if they do make any retro merch they'd use a more appropriate logo for those.

There's more information somewhere, I think the Toy World Mag, but I'm on my phone right now. Something to the tune of Retro Phone cases but nothing specific.

Hmmm, in terms of toys, we'll have to settle for Basic Fun's assortment I think. Brand celebration seems to be all about merch and licensing from Hasbro's POV.

Yeah, I'm not getting my hopes up for any Hasbro toys except maybe another SDCC set like the Twilight one they did a few years ago, I could see them doing something like that.

Yeah, they're really cute. I'm kicking myself for not buying them when they were still in shops x)

The brushable one started to concern me when I realised that the humanoid version's head hair is the pony's butt tail when transformed.
That raises all kinds of issues, biologically speaking.

Forget Hasbro, we're all fortunately relying on basic fun to make it memorable. Hasbroken wants to give us make up and pinkie pies probably. >_<
