Probably the most colourful with all that newfangled 90's technology!

The Glow n Shows get my vote! :happy: I love the Secret Surprise, Sundazzles, and Precious Pockets. I also like the Soda Sippins and Tropicals too.

Glow n Show for me. I also love Tropical Ponies and Glittery Sweetheart Sister ponies.

Rainbow Curls, obviously :P But the Rockin' Beats are a close second!

Flower Fantasy for me. They're just so pretty. I wish they'd made more.

i just looked through MyLittleWiki since i'm a bit unfamiliar still with G1 sets... but for me it's a tie up between Tropicals, Rockin' Beats and Glow 'n Shows :biggrin: my faves of each are Sea Breeze, Tuneful, and Starglow (+ the prototype Glow n' Show Sunspot is SO cool too. i suppose she should count maybe as a second choice)
although it was a hard choice about which pony from the tropical set was my fave (bc i like them all in their own ways) i'm going to have to go with the Glow 'n Shows as my fave set. can't resist their glow-in-the-dark charm

Huh, going through this made me realize that I don't actually care for most of these sets...
Rockin' Beats got my vote, even though I can take or leave Tuneful and Pretty Beat, because I just love the idea of a pony band XD The Prom Queens probably would've been my second vote if I'd had to pick two. Rainbow Curls are one of those weird sets where they *should* be favourites of mine, they have a lot of aspects I usually love, but somehow they just don't grab me? If that makes sense - anyone else get that way? I like them well enough, but, idk.

I went with Flower Fantasy but it was a tough choice among them, the Glow'n Shows, and the Soda Sippin' ponies.

I feel the same about the Rainbow Curls. They tick all the right boxes and remind me of Care Bears and Sanrio, but something about them just turns me away. The only one I like is Raincurl. The Rainbow Babies did the concept better.

I agree, the babies are definitely better! I do like Ringlet and her unusual wings, but otherwise I've just never been able to get into the Rainbow Curls. It's nice to know it's not just me ^^

Rainbow Curls for me. Stripes is a childhood pony. She's rainbow and stars and in a great pose. My childhood best friend had Raincurl, and I remember wanting her so much too.

Sunspot was supposed to be a GnS? She would have been a beautiful one.

I voted Rainbow Curls, but to be honest, Prom Queen Sweetheart Sisters are probably my favorite. I just missed that on the list before voting. :redface:

love the rockin' beat ponies although I wish they had made pretty beats in that blue but love tuneful is bright nonetheless... also wish they had made those fancy swirl celestial ponies... were colorswirls the result instead?

Out of those, Rocking Beats got it due to neon colours!!! Btw, slight niggle: where are the Cookery Ponies, Romance Ponies, Seven Character Ponies, Roller Skate Ponies, Nurse Ponies, Hairdo Ponies, & a few other sets we on this side of the Atlantic got to enjoy??? (Fave of those being Roller Skates for bright colours & still working to this day)
Second fave in your list is Rainbow Curls, from the missed out ones it's the Hairdo Ponies

I like the flower fantasy set or the rain curl ones they are really cool. I do miss some things of the 90s but I miss that I stopped collecting at that point. :/

Rockin' Beat Ponies because I loved them in My Little Pony Tales, Half Note looked so cute with that braid of hers, and I always liked Sweet Notes too

I was never really a fan of the sweetheart sister body style, so that eliminates those sets. I was not a fan of really any of the sets, and by the 90s I wasn't actively collecting anymore. I did get the glow and show set, but was never a huge fan. I think I do like the tropical most, even though I never had them. I never had rainbow curl either, and they would most likely be the second choice. My cousin's daughter had one of the rockin' beat ponies and I just remember thinking that is just looked weird. :D

Glow 'n Show Ponies for me - they're so nostalgically inspiring in my opinion, and so beautifully designed (also in my opinion.)
As a bonus, I love the Tales adaptation of them too.

Rainbow Curl ponies! I love the soft pastel colors they got and they still felt like MLP's to me. Like I could see them appearing in an episode without standing out too much from the others.

I voted for Tropical Ponies. They're in my top five for favorite pony sets and my favorite pony set that features four ponies. I just love their bright colors and their fun symbols. I have Hulu Hulu and I just love her so much.

I love the whole gimmick-combining thing in the 90s, but the Sundazzle Ponies are probably my favourite set here! I'm just a sucker for their tropical neon beachy palette and gorgeous sunset colours haha :heart:

I still can't bring myself to vote because I can't choose between the Rainbow Curls (who have deep childhood significance to me because of Rainbow Magic) and the Glowing Magics (because glowy things!) I always loved both sets as a kid. The Rockin' Beats need a mention as well, since they were the only set I had complete as a kid (had to have the whole band!)
And I will say that I adore the glittery SHS. I remember the Christmas I got Starflash and making her climb the christmas tree and stuff. :)
