I was cruising Tumblr today and someone posted a photo of their old MLP game they found while cleaning. I've never seen it before! Can anyone explain what it is/how you play? Is it a game or like an art making thing?

I either have it or have had it in the past (in English) but I am not sure, beyond the stamper aspect, what it does. One of the many picked up at a catboot sale that never got played with.
Is it not on the Wiki?
Edit: yep, it is...

Instructions are in French though. :) I can make rough sense of them but I'll leave it to someone native.

Oooo this answers all my questions! Thanks guys!
That is a really cute game. I remember having games like this as a kid, where you have a bunch of blank score cards and some will get used up each time you play (Clue springs to mind, for example). I wonder how many kids played these games so much that they used up all the blank score cards, and if it was possible to buy more blanks from the company that made the game, or if you just had to use your imagination and play differently at that point LOL.
The commercial has some cute original animation! I like how easily it shows us the rules in the short commercial (though if you're just stamping the color that the spinner lands on, then the cards seem kinda pointless? ^^; )

I'm actually amazed it had a commercial. Thanks for sharing that, Ponyfan. :D

Here is the BGG entry for this game: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/107983/my-little-pony-merry-go-round-game

:O I never heard of the BGG website before but that's awesome! Thanks!

Oh I actually have the main spinning piece (I knew it was from a board game but didn't know the rules).
So it's interesting to learn more about it.

I wonder if this was one of the first MLP games and that's why it has a commercial? I like how the animation shows the ponies playing on the merry go round piece.
I think the cards are to show players what pony each stamp is supposed to be?
