Title: What are you doing with your ponies right now?

I thought this might be a fun thread :)

Are you and your ponies in the middle of something? Spa day, pictures, organizing, rotating favorites? Have you taken time to admire your collection lately?

My ponies are still packed away. I bought new displays for them and put those together but I need to move some furniture around to place them and I'm being so lazy about it :P When I do get them unpacked, I want to photograph them all again and my G3s are going to need a spa day (they were so dusty when I packed them!).

I have one pony out, since I bought her after I moved. Hidden Dissectibles Applejack! She sits on my nightstand and I get to look at her everyday ^.^

Today I am in the midst of cleaning up a bunch of new ponies I scored at a yard sale yesterday. Got a couple of ratty tails soaking in fabric softener, a few others are sitting with conditioner on their hair. After my kids go down for their nap, I hope to work on the tails with a curling iron to see if they can be salvaged. I hope so, because their bodies are all in excellent shape! I think I'll have to de-tinsel one; I'll try to straighten it but I think it's beyond repair.

Mimic-to-be is currently living in the windshield of my car in the eternal hope that I can sunfade the aqua out of her. Not that it's helping today...it's been raining all day.

My whole collection sits just across my bedroom desk. It's nice, because whenever I'm writing a story or drawing, I can rest my eyes a moment and look at all the colorful, well-organized ponies.

I'll often take any 2-3 ponies to keep on my desk temporarily. I might grab Dancing Butterflies because I admire her bright yellow, or Cloud Climber because I remembered how much I like her name, it depends on the day. I also gently "fidget" with them, like stroking their hair or rubbing their smooth vinyl. Today, January Joy is on my desk because I need her for art reference, alongside Meadowbrook.

Most of mine are in the big box they all got stowed in right before the move back in 2015.  Then there are a few select ponies that are set up on display, either stand alone or interacting with my various 1/6 scale figures.

I'd post a few pics, but many are in conjunction with what I call my femboy fashionista figure.  And even though it is tame and technically family friendly, I am not sure if he would be appropriate here.  He is pretty adorable, though I think I need to have a permanent light blush put on his cheeks soon.  :D

I'm in the middle of rotating figures between curio cabinets.  I stored away Transformers to display more ponies.  I got a new cabinet to but in another room.  Ponies are moving from one room to another and then the transformers get to be put back out.

Right now, I just get to enjoy the view :) I have one g3.5 baby plush (the rarity baby) waiting for spa, but the rest are just chilling in their display cabinets. I will be in the process of packing them soon, though, as we're looking to move (and they might have to go in storage for a lil bit). So I take the time I have for now to just admire them :)

I am still unpacking them! hehe! I recently moved into a new apartment so I need to get more shelving units. But most of my faves are in a glass case in my living room   :good:

Earlier today I was working on a custom made from a baby seahorse with really bad age spots, and scrounging ebay for lots of ponies to clean up.  I wanted to do some photographs of some other ponies today but the light is fading so maybe tomorrow...

They're usually just stored away, but once in a while I will talk to them and imagine them responding in my head, I also used to sniff Wind Whistler's mane sometimes but not anymore.

They spend their time having photos taken (they've discovered Instagram!) and being generally admired. We've also been collecting (and sometimes making!) mini accessories for them.

I sold more than half of my collection. the ones i'm keeping are hanging out on the shelf. We're moving again soon so I may sell more in a few months. or I may start collecting again. i haven't decided :) for me the best part is the hunt

It was an eBay find! I saw it and thought 'that is what Gypsy needs in her life!'. It seems to be handmade. I'm in love with it :lovey:

This is a fun thread. Right now I'm washing and drying a fairly sad Precious Gem that my 7 year old niece found for me in a charity shop. Her tail is a bit thin and her DS hoof has a weird orange stain, but overall she looks quite nice... and since my niece gave her to me she is priceless. How nice to have such a little girl look out for her Aunty when it comes to G1s and G3s. In other news WOW! Have you seen Strawberry Reef lately? It's looking fantastic!

they're packed away :( and i don't even remember who the last ones i got were either! i think i got gifted the 6 pack of the collectors BF ponies most recently.
i don't have any space for any kinds of ponies aside from inside my computer screen :P can we get some anti-moving places chants?

this is the last time they were all together outside, back in november :( i just hope i've stored them well enough because i can't get to their boxes to check!! i'll be seriously upset if i've damaged them somehow.

umm im sewing banndannas for the boy ponies even if they dont like modeling. Wigwams like seeming happy during this but baby boy drummmer looks like he rather go out and play.

I have a fashion style g4 reboot applejack and the glittery re-release twilight sparkle BAB that are both waiting on a spa day! Also poor SS Angel who has been partially deflocked for like... years  :blush:

The other girls are just vibin' in the cabinet for now, but I'll be moving in a few months.

Just got around to unpacking the ponies that went with me overseas. They're looking a bit bedraggled so they're currently chilling on my hobby desk waiting for a spa treatment. While I'm at it, I'm using Whizzer as a reference to customize a tiny pink pegasus keychain I found in an accessory shop.
