Who's your favorite of the eight original G3 ponies (Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Minty, Wysteria, Sunny Daze, Sparkleworks, Kimono, Sweetberry)?
Wysteria's my personal favorite. Her color scheme is very soft and gentle, and fits her sweet and shy personality and green thumb well. Her cutie mark is also very beautiful and I love her green eyes!
A close second is Kimono. I love her pose and dark purples, they make her look very poised and elegant. Her Japanese theme is very cute and unique, and I love her personality in A Charming Birthday--I wish we got to see more of her in the other movies.
I seem to gravitate toward the purple ponies in these sets! ;)

Hard to choose, they're all pretty great. But I agree about Kimono, I think she's my favorite. Pretty symbol, name, colors, theme. Then maybe Sunny Daze or Rainbow Dash, then Minty!

I could barely decide between Wysteria and Kimono, but in the end I went with the former. I also really like that version of Sparkleworks. Minty I love but not in that pose, so much...

Easy answer: Sunny Daze!!! She was one of my first G3s when they first came out and probably the one to brainwash me into liking the orange/pink colourscheme! As a character I could identify with her too, tomboyish, loves to play outside all day every day! I really love Sweetberry too, SO underrated.
Best Glitter pony is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaayyyyyyyyybe Kimono. I like Minty better as a character, but Kimono's prettier and I was SO infatuated with her as a kid, even though I wasn't into pink or purple. Something about her dark colours I guess. She was also the only one of my ponies to ever go missing. I wonder if someone stole her? I was so upset!
How could I forget Sparkleworks... man, the Glitter Celebration ponies are all really good, huh? Orange bias towards Sparkle, and hers is so bright and bold. When I bought her a few years back I forgot how nice of an orange she is. And I love her CM! Such a great summertime pony. I'm not going to bait mine, but I think she'd be a cute pony to rehair. Pinkie is alright. I like G3 Pinkie more than G4 Pinkie. I like the dark body/light hair combo, and the walking pose is underutilized. It's so small and cute!
Wysteria and Rainbow Dash.... hey...? :lookround: Wysteria was one of my first ponies too but I don't feel as strongly towards her (since I said before I wasn't into pink and purple as a kid... I've always been a warm-colours person!). Rainbow Dash I like but not as much as the others. She's probably third place when it comes to Rainbow Celebrations. I'd have to get her again. I like her Kimono pose release in the darker tealish colour, though.

Despite my adoration of blue & rainbows, a fireworks Pony has a very special appeal for me, & there's also the fact Rainbow Dash carried on to Core 7 unlike Sparky. Pinkie Pie deffo gets the bottom slot due to all that pink

Aw man... I LOVE Minty but I've gotta give this one to Pinkie Pie. Lotta Pinkies in my herd. I love Rainbow Dash too :) Her rainbow eyes are so cute.
Awww poor Sweetberry, no one's voted for her yet! I'd have voted for her if I could have had two votes, because Divas <3 <3 <3 <3

Wisteria is my favorite. Her symbol and colors are so pretty. Rainbow Dash is my 2nd fave with her stormy gray/blue body and rainbow hair. I think she looks amazing. Can almost smell the rain.

Minty! Anytime. Minty is one of my top fav ponies of all generations :)
With Kimono and Pinkie as second favourites. I like monochrome ponies x) I also like Wisteria. I always have a hard time picking favourites, haha. But mu no1 will forever be Minty :)

...Of course I still love her! And Sweetberry, aka the one with "toothpaste hair." As an adult I've also gained an appreciation for Minty, Sunny Daze and Kimono in particular. But honestly I think they should all be appreciated. They're great in their own special ways.

I love them all so so much! But kimono has always been my favorite g3! As an asian American, it was great to see a pony inspired by Asian cultures!

I didn't take notice of how pretty Sweetberry 's toothpaste hair was until I read Kimono's Townhouse.

I have no personal attachment to G3, but judging from the color schemes and poses, I picked Minty. The Sunny Daze pose is also very cute!

I loved that comic and all its little visual details and humor. It saddens me that it's being devoured, by whatever devours old websites. She put a ton of work and love into it.

I voted Kimono, but I love Sunny Daze just as much. I love Kimono's purple on purple, and I loved the Kimono's Townhouse comics too - and Ponyville. She and Pinkie Pie were the first G3s that I bought in 2003 at Kay-Bee Toys.

I voted sunnydaze, I had her and sparkleworks as a kid. I love both of their warm colors, but I don't remember sunnydaze's hair being a tinsel ratsnest like sparkleworks' was XD

My first were Pinkie Pie and Minty, but my favourite was definitely Sparkleworks. I was obsessed with her, for some reason. The orange pearly body and her cool fireworks symbol were just the greatest things to me.

G3 Sunny Daze was the very first pony I ever owned, so she holds a special place in my heart! I recently moved however, and have not been able to find her! May the toy gods look favorably upon me and help me find her!!!

I voted Kimono, because she's stunning, and she's one of the first G3 ponies I got. As I recall, my mom saw her and said 'well you have to get the purple one!' It's my favorite color, and she's in one of my favorite poses, too. It's so elegant! I love that dark, rich purple they use for her mane; she's beautiful. :heart:
