DD has him, I don't. I like him but not enough to buy him. There are other big bros I like more.

Had two baits of this big bro pony, they have been turned into Quarterback and a alternative pose for Tornado.

I don’t have him, because I collect out the wild and have never found him. He reminds me so much of Waterfire.

It's the only big brother that my sister has but I don't.
Because Naynie has him, though, I've never bothered to look for one of my own. Any doubles that came through got traded on.
Naynie's came from a carboot sale with a bunch of other ponies in the middle/late 1990s, including Pearl and Lightning among others.
We remember this one particularly because it was the week after we had come back from a family holiday at the beach. Naynie was only about eight or so at the time. She found a stranded starfish and rescued it, helping it back out to sea. She called it 'Barnacle'. I think because at the time she really wanted him. She likes blue and red ponies.
..And a week later we found him ;) So of course, he is hers.

I love pirate-themed stuff, and would love to have him one day. He's not a big priority though.

My favorite boy ever. Back when I restarted collecting, circa 1994, my only source was garage sales and flea markets. A collecter friend and I were trading off tables at a flea market, looking for ponies. She saw him first and thus had claim to him. However, she already had one of what we what we called 'original boys' at that point. She had Steamer, so she graciously allowed me to take Barnacle. He's kind of scruffy, but I love him to bits

Only had him as a bait. He was the worst condition pony I've ever seen. I think he was in a fire and got mega smoke damage.

I don't really want him. I love his blue color (and name) but his symbol and red hair just don't work for me.

I have him :) And a custom that a friend made for me. I love the color scheme but also the story that a pirate is always looking for treasures. Which fits me, looking for treasures in life.
Having him MOC is on my wishlist. I wish there was more official merch.

The best Big Brother pony. I dislike the whole "hat theme" on most of them, but I love that they made a pirate pony. In addition, his color scheme is great!

im really not sure about him, i kind of want him, i have his hat :lol: i like the pirate theme and i love nautical theme ponies but its his colour combo is so loud and too vibrant for my taste, maybe one day and if i do i will have to get the other 2 but im also picky on condition so they wold have to be near mint, no regrind or age spots.

I like him but don't have him. I've been kind of low-key keeping an eye out for him on ebay but it seems so hard to find one with good body color.

Of all the male ponies, Barnacle is the one I want the most! But gotta have the hat too, it's great.
