Title: Bonanza Split!!!

Name: Bonanza Split
Nicknames: Bonnie, Bonbon, Brownie
About: Bonanza is the unofficial mascot pony of all “My Little Pony” anniversary celebrations!
She is a registered event organizer and is always organized.
Her cutie mark is three scoops of Neapolitan ice cream atop two bananas, making a delectable and delicious banana split! No one makes them as yummy as Bonanza does!

Notes: I wanted to inspire Bonanza off of MLP’s pink and purple logos throughout the years, but I wasn’t quite feeling it, so I made that the color scheme of her eyes, instead. And I made her body white like the typically white colored font used by the franchise. I had decided on her name long before her design, oddly enough, and just knew that I wanted her to be an unofficial mascot pony to future MLP franchise anniversaries. I chose to make her color scheme reflect her name, instead- that being the Neapolitan Ice cream and bananas that make up a banana split, which ultimately I felt worked much better for her. I incorporated the MLP traditional pink and purples in the heart motifs that pay tribute to gen 3’s logo, on her cheeks. A bit of Japanese Decora style fashion bled through her design as I worked on her. I didn’t have a sketch or any concept of her to go on, and winged her the entire way through, so I’m glad that she turned out as nicely as she did!

Little pony, big eater. And even bigger spender. My newest pony, Bonanza Split spent so much on ingredients for her sweet monstrosity! Here we have her famous banana split with strawberry, vanilla and chocolate ice cream, a banana, with circus animal cookies,  mini cupcakes, fresh strawberries, sprinkles, and strawberry topping.
There’s always room for dessert!
She also snuck some circus cookies earlier today. What a greedy little pixie.

At least she shared a few bites with me.

aww, thank you! Yeah, it sure does! The element of life or death suspense where everything hinges on one wrong move That could ruin the whole thing is finally over!

thanks! I was going to add a lot more, originally, but I thought simple worked best. She ready had so much going on with her mane!

She's adorable!  Her mane is so complex, kind of reminds me of the G1 Birthday Pony, only better.  Her look really works for her backstory.  Can I try drawing her?

Also her banana split looks delicious   :lol:

Isn't she cute! I love her punny name, it gave me a big grin! And her cute, lively design lives up to her name and then some! I can definitely envision her as a party planner! :heart: I also love hearing the design ideas behind pony customs, so thanks for sharing! :cheer:
