Title: What pony things have brought a smile to your face today?

Sharing my own experience to start things off- I spontaneously decided to Throw a tweet to “Poniko”, one of the people who posts as Japan Pony con’s mascot, as I had questioned her about her thoughts on my favorite g1, Japanese pony line a few months back. The reply that I got from her today, truly made me smile, because I thought for sure, she would’ve forgotten about them. It was so cute!

i haven’t watched EfC in a while, so I need to go back and refresh my memory, but I do distinctly remember baby Moondancer. She is a little cutie, isn’t she? It’s really hard not to smile when you see her.

Post by: LadyAmalthea on August 08, 2020, 05:54:45 AM: I had a sort of baity Baby Glory that I threw in my bedroom window a couple of months ago to see if I could brighten her up little. She had looked so yellow and forlorn next to my display Baby G. I live in the woods and don't get the greatest sunlight in the house, and my last sun fading attempt (trying to fade a greenish cast off a Majesty) has not been that successful so far. I went to check her, and now she is so bright white that she now makes my display Baby Glory (who I thought was super white and perfect before) look a little dingy by comparison! Her symbol will need to be re-glittered, but otherwise she looks like new. Makes me want to put all my white ponies in the window now to see how white I can get them. It was a nice surprise on an otherwise rough day.

I just wanted to draw that character because I like her a lot. The picture is crappy so you don't see that well the details. Sorry.

I recently got Moonstone in the mail and tomorrow I will get to open my packages that have Firefly, Glory, Sunbeam, Sundance, and Tootsie! The first three were delivered last Friday (to my apartment's office) but I worked all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today so I will finally get to retrieve them tomorrow! Plus I have Confetti, Posey, Moondancer, and Parasol on the way.

I've had some pony luck that has made me very happy. I finally got Sweetsong in her alternate pose! She's coming from France though, so I have to be patient, but it'll be worth the wait to have a pony who has been such an elusive grail for so long.

Post by: Mana Minori on August 25, 2020, 09:34:41 AM: One thing that made me smile (on the inside) was finding Flitterheart, Glimmer Wings Ploomette, and Snowcatcher at my favorite thrift spot, today. (And getting there right when it opened, so there was less people).
Oh, and having cheesecake for breakfast.

Post by: LadyAmalthea on August 25, 2020, 10:32:09 AM: My sister sent me a picture of my nieces playing in their treehouse with their Basic Fun ponies, and an elaborate setup of buildings, including a 'volcano of gloom', complete with witches. It reminded me of a scene she and I would have set up as kids, and made me happy that another generation of kids in our family would have the chance to enjoy ponies the way we did.

Post by: SunPony on September 04, 2020, 07:49:49 PM: Not only did I get a lot of bait ponies from ebay that included THREE Scoops ponies (I've been after baity Scoops ponies for a while now, so finding several in one lot was awesome), but when I opened the box I found that a couple of the others are actually in decent shape, include a nice Seashell. Very happy :biggrin:

It’s so nice knowing that someone love their pastel ponies enough to give them affection right when they roll out of bed, and before they go to bed. So sweet. So wholesome.
