Title: Dollhouse Scale for Ponies
Post by: FiddlePhan on August 04, 2020, 02:02:53 PM
I was wondering if any of you have miniatures what dollhouse scale 1/6, 1/12 or other that works for G1 ponies?    I wanted to order some things but didn't want to get things that were too big or small.  Thanks.

I would say 1:12 is just about right...don't hold me to it, but I collected dollhouse/miniatures for years and it seems to me that they are of comparable size to the pony furniture and accessories that come with the playsets.

Thanks very much Lady Amalthea.  I'll order a few cheap things at 1:12 to be double sure but I think you're right.

Anywhere from 1:12 to 1:9 should be good.
I say 1:9 because if Megan's 6" doll represents someone in their early teens relative to the ponies, an 8" doll (which is 1:9 scale) would seem a good fit for an adult relative to them.

I usually get 1/12 for the houses & big items, while for small accessories I go for 1/6. Both sizes are easy to find
