We've all got one. (Or many!) Who's your current grail pony and what is it about this pony that makes it so coveted to you? I'll start: mine is German Baby Buttons. I have an affinity for all ponies with star symbols, and I just love the baby unicorn pose. She's also the last German baby I need for my collection, so that makes me want her even more. Tell me about your grails!

Munchy is pretty high on my grail list right now 🥺 it's so hard to find her in general, albeit less than 100$... Also looking for Argentina squeaky butts, and baby leaper.............one day..........

Unicorns:
Twist-She's been rather elusive lately. It was love at first sight!
Cheerilee-She only pops up when I have no money. She's such a big, pretty pony.
Copper Glow-I love her colors and name.
Earth:
G3 Seaspray-She's gorgeous and sea themed!
Pumpkin Tart-The fall ponies rock!
Sandbar-I've been having a hard time trying to track a long haired one down on ebay.
Eve-She is a dolphin themed pony. I love dolphins.
Sea Ponies:
Baby Dipper-I adore her springtime colors.

Mine is really just Mimic. She's not rare as she almost always seems to be on Ebay. She's just too pricey and I see buying her as going down a rabbit hole of springing for more and more expensive ponies.
If I have another, it would be a perfect Butterscotch with no age marks and silky hair. I settled for the Basic Fun version.

Argentina Collector Pose orange Confetti with blue hair.
I love Argies and orange & blue is my fav color combo. Her orange is especially nice. I have 3 Argie Confettis and all of them are awesome but none of them are her.

German Starshine, and she's been my grail for a while now. I just can't justify that much for a pony. A whole set of German rainbows would be too much :P

G2s: Mostly accessories to complete my sets
*Magic Star Swirl- complete with acc: I've always loved the Magician ponies, and she stood out the most to me. Not that I'm not looking to complete all the magician ponies, but she's my Grail of the group.
*Lady Elegant- complete with acc: She was one I always wanted as a child, from the first time I saw her info card on the back of my first G2 magazine :inlove:
*Musician/Musical Pony acc- Rocky's castanets, Muse's star comb and panpipes, Jazzy's star comb: I had Melody as a child, and now I'm determined to complete the set! And if miracles do happen, maybe I'll find one that still plays music! :lookround:
*Unicorns with Wings acc- Diamond glow's silver wings & star comb, Golden Glow II's star comb: my ABSOLUTE favorite set- just barely beating out the magicians. I managed to save my childhood copperglow and I'm SO close to completing the others >_<
G2s have always been my favorites, and I've assigned a lot of sentimental value to them. I'm trying to complete my G2 collection in honor of my French grandparents who passed away last summer. We used to buy/collect them together, and G2s are closely tied to those happy memories. Once I complete my favorite sets, I'll move on to the more common ones.
G1s:
- Seaflower! She's the last sunshine pony I need to complete the set. I think the color-change-in-the-sun gimmick is SO COOL. I'll probably look for the sundazzle pony set afterwards :P
- Dazzleglow- unpopular opinion, but I've decided I like the pink hearts version better than the variant. I narrowly missed an opportunity to buy the blue-hearts variant online and I take that as a blessing in disguise xD
- Winger Ponies! They're all grails, but my top favorite is Flurry. I fell in love with their vibrant colors and how TINY they are :heart:
- UK variant birth pony March Daffodil- she's my birth month and i LOVE the Uk version's colors!
- recently-coined grails: The Rainbow babies! Rainribbon, Starbow, Brightbow, Sunribbon- as it's almost the end of Pride Month, I'm now obsessed with collecting these dazzling rainbow dearies.
Eventually, I'll work to complete my twinkle-eye set... but that would include getting Mimic who is cOMPLETELY out of my budget if eBay prices are anything to go off of... -_-

My current grail is actually gusty. No MO, piggy or mimic.(I want those too not gonna lie.) Just gusty. I just never got around to buying her or the shipping was crazy. She just looks really appealing and I loved her in the show. Hope to snag her up one day. Also nice to read I got a good deal on my munchy.

My grails are mostly unachievable or way too expensive, as grails tend to go :P
This (http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/File:Peru-bowtie-ribbon1.jpg) Peruvian Bowtie variant is my loftiest grail, I just love everything about her. Her symbol and the fact that she's a unicorn. I'll probably never own her.
Others include Munchy - not surprised that her name already came up :biggrin: I would also love to get my hands on any piggy pony for a price I can afford because I think their mere existence is just fascinating. If I could choose which piggies to get, it would be Algodoncete, Rayito, or Fresita since they're original character designs.

My grails are unachievable at the moment as well. I'm almost done with what U.S. Ponies I want, so whats left to collect are expensive mail orders, Cha Cha, and hard to get ponies from overseas.

My goals are all over the place, but if we're talking about true grails, like, obtaining the unobtainable... South African Blossom and South African Starshine.
ETA: Why? Because I have a thing for wanting to acquire Blossoms and Starshines from all over the world, but I also *currently* have a thing against paying $2,000+ for a pony.

Hmm, probably the Baby Lucky Leaf and Baby Leafy set. Specifically Baby Leafy, he's just so darned cute, but I really like them both and to get the whole set would be awesome.
Something more traditionally grail-y would be a piggy pony, I think they are weirdly cute ^.^

For US release I am after Rapunzel, she is the last mail order as well as the last htf/rare US pony I need. After her I only need 35 ponies to complete my US collection. :)
For international/nirvana, French Firefly is top of the list as she’s the last French pony I need to have the complete ‘regular release’ French ponies (not counting the rare variants like reverse Bowtie etc).

Hmm...most of the ponies I want are semi-common and fairly attainable, so I don't think they'd be considered grails, and the few that aren't are so unattainable that I've pretty much mentally crossed them off my list because I will never pay that much for a pony. But I'll go for it anyway:
1. Baby Minty (Greek? I think).
2. Baby Bluebell/Baby Elsa (also Greek I believe).
3. Baby Princess Sparkle and her buggy/accessories.
4. Play and Care babies Lickety Split, Ribbon and Gusty with regular eyes.
5. Twins Sandcastle and Shovels, to complete my newborn twin sets.
6. Not so unattainable, but am having a really hard time finding one in good condition at a price I want to pay...G1 Sparkler.
Accessories that are grails for me:
-twin stroller that goes to newborn twins, either color.
-heart clip attachment piece that goes to Cuddles' buggy.

Deflocked Ribbon, I've wanted her for ages and now I might be going to get her at last....fingers crossed!
My girlfriend wants her because she loved her in the cartoon and wrote numerous stories about her as a child; and I want her because Baby Ribbon was my first pony and needs her mum!
And we specifically want a deflocked one because we don't like So Softs, but at the same time we could never bring ourselves to deflock a So Soft that wasn't practically bald already.

So many grails... but my main one at the moment is SA Windy. She is the last pony I need to replace my childhood herd. But there is no way I can afford her. I mean: SA pony

At the moment it's the last Softies I want, Honeycomb and Baby LicketySplit. Honeycomb is the unattainable one at the moment so I consider my collection complete with BLS.
Baby Lickety Split more than anything as well because I HAD bought her, but they sent me an adult instead. Don't think there ever WAS a baby, they just used a baby softies picture on the listing. :cry:

I don't have one grail in particular, I have several that I have been dreaming of all my life. Mainsail, Locket, Flower Bouquet, Sugar Apple, Lady Flutter, Whirly, a perfectly deflocked Paradise, Wiggles, Daffodil, just to name a few... I don't know why these ponies are so special, probably because they release some sort of huge nostalgia vibe. They give me that ultimate My Little Pony feeling from my childhood. :P

Not a UK variant, unfortunately, unless the UK moved to Australia or Scandinavia when I wasn't looking.
We didn't officially get any BF ponies here. Albeit we got some of the white ones as clearance at the end of the line.
UK - not a catchall for ponies not sold in the US.
On topic - this is a hard question for me actually. I have some MIP grails - Windy on UK card, Ripple on UK card, Rainbow Magic on UK card. All childhood ponies that I haven't yet tracked down. There are some others that I won't ever be able to afford, even if they exist, which isn't for sure (I had 3 Mountain Boys as a kid, right now we only know of one of them still existing as a MOC pony, the other two have never yet come up for sale). So I discount them.
Loose ponies - I'm gonna say Baby Sugarcake simply because - aside from the fact she's really cute - she's the MO pony completer and I've been looking for her for 20 years. It's not that she's rare (albeit she is not common!), she does come up for sale. But her price has risen over time more than my pony budget has risen. So I still don't have her.
There are some backcards as well. I am not sure if they count though...backcards are grailish to me <3.

Oh man, a tough topic! Plenty of beautiful ponies I still need ... but when I think 'grail', I tend to think like, Rapunzel type ponies! (Price AND rarity!) So for me, I'm on the hunt for one of those super-big G3s, the blank ones they gave out to artists for the MLP Pony Project. I know there's some floating around in the community, but when the project first happened, I was on a super-tight budget in college, and I couldn't afford to buy one of the extras that seemed to be plentiful at the time. Now I'm looking for someone to resell theirs, I guess. She doesn't have to be MIP, I'd be happier with a loose one honestly! I just feel strangely drawn to blank ponies, something about the blank canvas draws me in!
I'm also hungry for a Baby Dancing Butterflies, and maybe a Baby Sweet Tooth! I know they're pricey, but they're so stinking cute! I wanted a Baby DB ever since I found out about her, but back then, even $50 seemed outlandish for one pony ... now they're more like $80-100! :yikes: But Dancing Butterflies was my first pony, and it feels fitting to have her baby! :heart:
In grail terms of 'not gonna break the bank', I'm still on the hunt for this one Equestria Girls set, where it had 'rocker Rarity' and a Rarity pony with extra paint around her eyes. I missed out on her in stores, and now I realize how cool she is!

Well, Mimic is an obvious answer, but what else..
Honestly, a big coveted prize for me is So Soft Gusty. I prefer So Soft to NSS, I really do. But the SS version seems to be decidedly rarer... Deflocking probably doesn't help.
Other than that... The Year Two adult Sea Ponies who didn't get released in the US, and the Year Three adult Sea Ponies. I love the adult Sea Ponies and want them all, but even the three released in the US in Year Two seem to be thin on the ground. I really hope Basic Fun does the Sea Ponies...

Mountain Boy ponies Ice Crystal, Tornado, Thundercloud, and Sunburst. I have Fireball (albeit with a symbol flaw) and Lightning (I think? It might be Sunburst I have!). They're gone up in price so much in the 3 years I took a break from collecting. ^^;

I would also love to have Toboggan because... that hat. It’s so cute. And winter ponies are really sweet!

Same grail as always: Brazilian Milky Way! My favorite pose, outer space symbols, TAF, and such pretty colors :) I'm not actively looking for her but I'd love to have her in good to mint condition some day.
I did find Munchy for $0.60 in a thrift store toy bin years ago! I think I raffled her off?

At the moment, outside of nirvanas are the following 3:
G3 Euro exclusive SLH Rainbow Bubbles (will complete my super long hair G3's)
SDCC Peacock pony that isn't too ridiculously over priced to complete my comic con exclusives
G2 Lady Waterfall to complete my G2 collection. Everyone else seems to be finding her but me.

A MIB Flutter Pony or MIB Princess Pony. I honestly don't even know where/how I'd display one, but I've wanted one since I joined The Arena (almost 15 years ago, oh my gosh!! haha)
Pristine condition original wings for all of my flutters are up there, too!
Would also love to own all of the G1 Bushwoolies and princess accessories. A minty Princess Serena. I still have my childhood Princess Sparkle with all of her accessories intact.

I would consider my grails to be ponies I really want and expect to have to wait for. Although I am prepared to pay a good price. The ones I am looking for are the same ones I have wanted for a while now: MOC Peppermint Crunch, mint with scent Peppermint Crunch and mint with scent Sherbet.
