Where to start? These customs are a thought from the past bought into now.
The concept is of old statues of forgotten ruins, overgrown by the beauty of nature. And over time they became entities/guardians/spirits to protect the place they are placed at.
Griffin and i wanted to trade customs for "ages" and now finally, here is her Ponysona as the "guardian of the ancient woods"
I imagine this pony to be gigantic, slowly rising up from what was thought of was simple landscape. Plants grow in her mane and some critters may nest in her protection, like in an old clocktower.

The second is "guardian of the pond by the ruins" for Shaiyeh, who i also wanted to do a trade with since a long time.
Her guardian is close to water. You see sea lillies and algae on her body and mane. it is common to see dragonflies around her an hear some confused frogs, when the guardian slowly starts to move.

Both customs are made from baits that were already cut an discolored. They got wire to support the sculpt of apoxie and got many layers of paint, sand, stones and miniature moss and grass.
Thank you for looking at these mythical customs!

I love the second one!!!

Ooooh there is my lovely pony! :hearts: (I always meant to do a brag post but Anna completed her half way before me and it didn't feel right to brag before I'd finished my half of the trade...) I love her so much, the bony parts add just the right amount of scary and I just love that hollow eye, she really looks like she was made of stone!
The one you made for Shaiyeh is absolutely gorgeous too. That skull! :O

They are both hauntingly beautiful...such intricate details. Wow...the skull on that second one!

inspiring!
they really look rocky and natural

WOW, AGAIN!! I just saw Griffin's pony, and now I see over at the other end of the cuteness spectrum, these two! These two are amazing!! The lore behind them is so cool and spooky, I love the idea of a giant pony just rising from the water or soil!! Scary and spooky, and those water effects are to die for! Great work!

Wow, those are some complex customs! You have so many small details on them...the little bits of moss, the texture, the sculpting of the bones - incredible!
-
They are both very intersting
-
Oh WOW!!!!
Obviously some pretty poor condition Ponies but that transformation is EPIC!!!
I particularly love the "ruined statue" feel to both of them!!! And I know their recipients will love them too...
