Hi everyone! I found a really inspiring place where you - yes you, can make your very own pony character. Not necessarily recommended for everybody, but if you are a hardcore G1 fan like me, then you might like this.

This is actually related to a online game called ponyisland. It's $23 for a year to play, etc. I've been playing for a really long time or you can do half a year (I forget the price for half). I'm not sure on the trial period or if that still lasts a certain amount of time like it did. I know you could join for free for a certain amount of time. There have been a lot of long time MLP collectors who joined and played the game back in the day.

So I'd say give it a look if you're interested.

Taffetta (who is a member here) introduced me to it.

It's a pony breeding game, so there are a lot of variety you can get into with visible gene's and type of breed, etc. If anyone does join you can contact me, I'm karentheunicorn on there as well. Glad to help anyone learn how to play, etc.

Celestial Star was actually given to me by Taffetta when Winged Unicorn's were
first introduced as a new breed. I was a new player so hadn't built up enough PG/BP to unlock the breed so she gifted me CS.

I made this WU male to look like the character Aaravos from the Netflix series the Dragon Prince. You can also name your ponies so his name is also Aaravos.

Below is one of the newer breeds Dino ponies, this is one of my DVSO - Double Visible Starter Offspring

There is also the Leviathan ponies but I don't have one of those yet, they are a breed only hybrid where you mix 2 different breed to get a chance at ending up with a Leviathan.

Ooh, fantastic! I love playing with character generators and doll makers - thanks for sharing! :heart:
I made my new ponysona with it, which reminds that I need to get the lead out and actually do some art of her, really. :lol:

The artstyle reminds me of a Deviantart comic I saw back in 2009 that took place in the Tales universe and featured a white unipeg OC character.

Yea, Flyingpony/Lunacat. A lot of the people who helped start PI were old school MLP fans, etc.

Wow, it's been a long time since I thought about PI :D Like Uni said I used to play it a long time back and got her hooked on it too xD I think you took over my accounts when I left actually. It looks like there are a ton more breeds and things now from the pics being posted here.

Kind of nice it's still going on.

awww, I miss PI. I used to be pretty active in some of the adoptable communities on there back in the day, but I kind of drifted away from it after they changed the layout.. dunno if I'd have the time (money) to go back to it these days.

Nah, Into the Woods. I always admired Loopies but I was kind of intimidated by them XD I had no idea where to even start.

Some of my accounts are defunk right now and I had a major die off a while back but, yea, there are a bunch more breeds. Now there are hybrids you can only create by actually mixing 2 different breeds; hybrids that you cannot generate, etc.

The above was my very first starter pony on PI. His name is Orion Nebula. His birth date reads Feb. 26, 2006 - So I've been playing Ponyisland for about 14 years. Wow, time flies.

I had forgotten but Trial accounts now do not expire now, they're just very limited (duh it's a trial). But either way you can have a trial account for free and try the game out. And you get 20bp so that gives you the option of making a couple starter ponies, etc. So it's kind of worth it to join just to see if you like it. Note, as a trial user you wouldn't be able to contact other players. But if anyone does join and needs help or is confused about something don't hesitate to contact me here, I'm glad to help anyone who is interested in the game, etc.

Oh and jwebgen no longer updates so you're not going to have the option of showing the newer breeds or the newer S-gene on ponies. I just looked and it looks like mountain ponies was maybe the last time they updated. There are maybe 3-5 new breeds since then? can't remember when Mountain ponies came out, and then there are a TON of new s-gene since then. So some stuff is not gonna show, like this:

It does seem to have an issue wi putting three colours in a mane. My Starcatcher go looks like your Lullabelle go. Also there appears to be no tinsel.

EDIT!!! Solved one issue!!! Pick QStripes  & do three colours like four, repeating one of the colours in the fourth option!!!

If anyone wants to see a gene/combo they can't create, just let me know and I can recreate it in the dream generator on PI. I just need to know the breed and colors you want showing, etc.
