I've been longing for a pony room since I was a little girl, and now my dream has finally come true! What better way to spend my time in isolation than to finally empty out our smallest bedroom and convert it to a full-fledged dedicated toy room? It's not finished, I still need to find a coffee table to set up Paradise Estate, and I haven't put up any of the artwork yet so the walls are a bit bare. It's a very small room but eventually I'll convert the cupboard into a display alcove. But every time I walk into my rainbow room, I'm filled with joy! The whole room smells like ponies. It's such a pleasure to just sit and soak it all up. My collection has lived in storage containers for so many years, I'm over the moon to finally be able to display it.

The risers are a mish mash... eventually they'll all match.

Rainbows make me happy!

The pink floor isn't a rug, it's actually a quilt! The carpet is 60s pea-soup green and pretty unattractive. Eventually I'll put down a rug which complements the room. The wing backed armchair is so comfy!

I haven't really figured out how to display my MOC/MIB ponies. I'd like to display them properly so they're all visible, but stacked in rows on the shelf will have to do for now.

I've got a mix of 80s and 90s toys... I love the nostalgia.

Wow  That looks absolutely dreamy! You must be thrilled :D
-
Woooow! This looks beautiful. Hours of work well spent!

Im so jealous of pretty much everything about this XD. Love your display of mlp and care bears (<3!!!) And i want that giant rainbow dash plush you have so badly XD. I hope to make a pony/care bear room like yours one day :)
-
Wow, that is really cool!! Wish I had the space to set mine all up like that...maybe someday! My little son is hanging over my shoulder while I am looking at your collection and he's pointing out all the ponies he recognizes, and he is also quite enthralled with your giant Rainbow Dash.

:shocked:wooowww!!!

Woah! Your room looks like a WONDERFUL place to relax, and such an incredible collection too! Love your rainbow display, the MOC bookcase, all of it looks fantastic! ^_^
-
What a happy looking colorful room. I love how you largely have your Care Bears and ponies organized by color. Just makes it that much more pleasing to look at and it looks like a great space to be in. I feel the same way about my art studio. Still need some kind of easy chair in it though
-
Awesome room! Everything is so well organized. The plushies and upholstered chair add a nice soft touch to it. ^.^
-
what a happy place
-
Everything looks great! I love how you've organized everything!
-
Wow that's such a beautiful room & display! Seems like if you've a bad day, this rainbow room is a great way to relax! Like others said, I wish I could have a room dedicated to ponies one day
-
This simply looks like "Pony Heaven" to me.
I remember putting my ponies on display so neatly, to have to move once more. I know the joy this brings. CONGRATULATIONS!
-
This is beautiful! Awesome inspiration too. I need to reorganize my collection.
Can I ask what type of risers you use to display your rows of ponies?

Looks fantastic! I love how you have them sorted by color, and those alt Birthflowers! :lovey:
-
Beautiful room! I love how you organized it!
-
Can I ask what type of risers you use to display your rows of ponies?
The risers are all different and mismatched. Many of them are upside-down fridge organiser trays, which are long and skinny so they work well for temporary risers. A few of them are proper risers, but not many. Some of the ponies are just standing on a stack of cardboard because I ran out of things to put them on. One day I dream of having all matching risers, lol.
-
This is amazing! Can't wait to get my own house to do this with!
-
Such an amazing display! :D
-
That looks amazing! What a wonderful pony paradise.

Filed under "things I wish I could spend my quarantine doing": this! :lmao: What a beautiful room, you're off to a great start! Or a great finish tbh, it looks pretty polished to me!! Gahh I love it!
-
Thanks everyone! I'm so happy to be able to share my joy with other collectors who understand my excitement. I've had such a wonderful time setting this room up. Finally I'm able to thoroughly enjoy my collection in a way I never could before. I'm still in the process of moving things around and setting things up, so I might have some updated photos soon!
-
I love how everything is mostly on ROY G BIV order. And I’m jealous of those Care Bears! Lol. :dribble:
-
Oh! Love your room!!! I miss seeing everyone's rooms and collections. It always gave me something to look forward to.
-
Great room! Im envious of yous MOC birthflowers! :)
And a splendid way to spend the time in quarantine with your ponies! I'm currently working on my ponyroom as well.

Ah, cardboard. The improviser's friend. Have you ever tried cardboard with straws hotglued to it as support pillars, and Krazy Glue storage tube caps hotglued to the pillars as feet?
