This is a doll I found yesterday at an indoor car boot sale

Both the seller & myself believe him to be an Indiana Jones doll. He has a gun in the pouch & also a back pouch for supplies. I didn't see his whip but he's wearing his hat, shirt, trousers & shoes. I think he looks pretty good. The question is: did they release dolls of him recently (around Crystal Skull time) or are they all from my younger days when the first three films, the magazine & the rest were out. I know I loved Indy as a youngster & that's one of the reasons I'm fond of Daring Do now.

It’s from 1981, checked on the internet, it’s the G.I Joe one.

Cheers!!! Forgot to mention the knob on his back. You press it & he makes whip-cracking sounds & his arm moves. Cheers for letting me know his age. He seems in really good condition for being a 1981 toy. I wonder if he "belongs in a museum"???  Lol

This is from the Crystal Skull release around 2008, and he should be marked Hasbro on his body.  The one from the 1980s didn't talk or have the grip with his hands, and it's marked Kenner.  It's still a really cool find!

He doesn't talk, it's just the noise, but yep, he's still a special part of my collection. Always loved Indy!!!
