Good Morning,
I have a collection on Generation 1 My Little Pony's and I buy more whenever I'm in the mood.
I also have a huge collection of Lush Bath Bombs, which I'm a but addicted too. Every boxing day I take off from work and travel to Lush Stores - spending between $500 to $1,000. I'll check out Lush.Com but often met with frustration from the site crashing and losing my carts items due to them selling out...
I shop at Lush for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day...
What collections, do you have?
-
Which don't fit into toys, I collect DVDs, ornaments, posters, random stickers (I just keep whatever stickers I find). I used to collect keyrings & CDs too, but I no longer buy music & the Ponies are getting to the point where the ones I still want are on the pricey side. If they do fit into toys, they're there in the Toybox thread.
-
I passively collect Lalaloopsy horses and Tokidoki Unicorno. Apparently I have a toy "type".
I also love weird anthro animal toys. Pinkie Cooper and Kitten Catfe!
-
My biggest collection is of Hot Wheels cars. I have around 3000 but I don't actively collect them anymore. I pick one up here and there but nothing like I used to. I also collect skulls, bones, fossils and other organic things. Game consoles and games. Weird or funny socks.
-
I collect Pokémon cards. I don’t have a binder, just my tin that I’ve always kept them in. But my oldest collection is my rock collection. I’ve been fascinated by rocks for as long as I can remember, and I’ve amassed a set of very interesting stones and crystals. I also collect miniature dinosaurs-another old collection hobby of mine. I don’t actively seek them out, but if I find a tiny Dino...I might take it.
-
I try to get all the Disney classics on Blue Ray, but since the only ones I have left are the ones I don't like, I don't think the collection will be complete anytime soon .
I guess I collect books as well.. at least according to my husband, only he calls it hording :lookround: :P.
-
For me, it's mostly stickers/washi tape and anime figures/pokemon figures. And Postcards.
-
I also collect skulls, bones, fossils and other organic things.
Skulls and Bones? Would those be of humans or pets? How do you get those skulls and bones? Organic - That means Real, Authentic And Natural, Right?
Do you have a roommate or guests visiting your place? What do others think of your Collection Of Skulls And Bones?
-
I used to pick up toy robots back in the 90s; nothing expensive or exceptionally collectable.
At one point we used to collect Depression Glass, but that's pretty much over now that my mother and aunt are gone.
Starting in the late 80s we collected Pocket Dragons, only stoping when the manufacture moved out of the UK.
-
I collect Schleich and Breyer horses and Littlest Pet Shop pets (but mostly cats). I also have a collection of scale models of cars, planes and motorcycles and postage stamps. I even used to collect stoppers from guitar strings because they're colourful :) And I forgot about tiny collection of different soap which I use with time.
-
I’m afraid if I listed everything I might break the Arena so I will stick to my other main collections.
Barbies
Funko Pops
Beanie Babies (although I don’t actively collect them anymore)
Disney dolls
Ariel/Disney’s Little Mermaid items
pressed pennies
ornaments
Ponyfan

I don't have any human bones yet, but I would like some :P (they are perfectly legal to own in the US, despite many people thinking otherwise). I do have human teeth! My own baby teeth and my sisters  I do not keep bones of my pets. I make imprints of their feet as keepsakes. And I've kept fur.
Most of my collection I found myself in the woods. Sometimes I find the bones, but most of the time it's a carcass that I bring home and bury then dig up months later. Some skulls were bought from places like a Deer Park, where the deer were taken care of and died of old age. I never want remains of something that was hunted or killed on purpose.
Organic is natural stuff, yes. Like, I have the preserved claw from a crayfish I dissected in 7th grade (it was not alive). I'm in my 30s now and it's held up remarkably well! I have lots of teeth too. Feathers, including a Bald Eagle feather that was plucked out by the bird himself at a sanctuary. It floated down right to me :P Beetle carapaces, butterfly wings... all kinds of stuff.
I don't have many people over, no. But I don't think it would bother anyone? Everything I have was found myself or sourced from ethical places, so who would have an issue with that?

Everyone has something different that they like huh? ^.^
I for one have a dvd/bluray collection because I'm old school;
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
I also collect Kelley Armstrong books, I will always buy a hardcover when possible;
visitors can't see pics , please register or login
I am also a collector of Nightmare Before Christmas, but dont have pictures of that scattered treasure. I also collected Sailor Moon stuff, wish I had some pictures of that!
(Oh yeah, guess who figured out imgur finally )
-
The other collection I focus on a lot is my Lion King collection. I've also got Webkinz, and a few Care Bears.
Outside of toys I have a large book collection, especially Tolkien and Percy Jackson. I tend to hoard every edition of every book I find, as well as signed copies.
-

Always good to have the physical media: it won't expire from some service.

My sister and her partner are both PhDs in Film Studies. Their collection of DVDs is insane...but useful if you want to watch a film.
My other collections...
Jem :) Original and IT, but selectively.
Monster High (also selectively, and not currently actively as I am happy with my collection and getting pickier with it)
There are probably enough Pokemon things to call it loosely a collection, but I am not actively trying to collect. I just got carried away a little bit in Japan...
Stuff relating to pre-modern Japan and in particular mediaeval warriors, including old books, memorabilia, etc. This is part academic (I did my PhD on Japanese mediaeval war tales) and part interest, but I have some cool stuff, like Hello Kitty dressed up in samurai armour on a keychain and a statue of a warrior in armour is on my desk. I miss Kyoto so bad :/
Neoroma. Well. Sort of. I have a lot of live DVDs. Haven't bought a new one in a long while mind you. I have some bits and pieces, games, etc as well. This sort of connects to the above as they overlap, amazingly.
For active collections, I think that's it.
-
My pony collection is probably my biggest, but I also collect Furbies and Furby related things! I have four Furbies at the moment (one from each generation) and a handful of other merch (the highlight of which is a board game).
-
I collect care bears, dice, and some smaller collections of various plush lines like aurora taddle toes, pillow pets, large sized beanie buddies, and i guess cute plush animal hats :)
-
I have a few other collections: Aladdin, Rainbow Brite, Mork & Mindy, Smurfette, Care Bears, Popples & Bruce Coville Books.
Another for VHS/DVD's/Blu Ray; between movie's and CD's we have thousands of discs in binders at our house...
-
Besides all the different toys I collect, I used to collect cat figurines that appealed to me but now they are all packed away. I also have a collection of "kandi" which are plastic bead bracelets that are traded at the electronic music events I go to.

When I was a kid, my mom got me a whole lot of cat figurines and told relatives/friends that I wanted cat figurines for my birthday.

I for one have a dvd/bluray collection because I'm old school;
My boyfriend and I also have a sizeable blu-ray/UHD/DVD collection. Plus we're collecting Disney Pegasus (from the Fantasia and Hercules films) merchandise, especially figurines and pins. I also have a pegasus tattoo.
-
Apart from ponies (which i do not actually buy many any more) i collect matchbox carousel figures and accessories, pokemon figures/items that might be found in that world, harry pitter items again that would be found in their world, digimon figures.
I also have, pokemon, digimon. Certain yugioh sets and a few magic the gathering cards
-
Now I have little lol surprise collection. It has less than fifty pieces, but I love all of this girls (and boys) < :
Today I found Crystal Queen ^.^
-
Sea wees, I had all the Tropicgals and Icygals and most Mom and Baby sets
Shimmers, Just sold the last set but used to have each set they made
Strawberry Shortcake, All originals with pets plus the villans and the gazebo set
Monster High, mostly signature wave one and a few SDCC
LPS, originally got these for the kids. They've outgrown them and there are so many it's hard to organize them to sell.
Tiny things, I have a tiny quarter, a tiny shell, a tiny glass ball I found inside a shell, stuff like that.
Cabbage Patch kids, I have like ten plus all the little ones with the wall hanging things. I also have the carrier, diaper bag and sleeping bag.
I'm currently selling the majority of my collections and just keeping my childhood and early ponies that I really love.
-
I have Pullips, Ellowyne Wilde, Monster High and Resin Bjds. I count them as one collection as they are displayed together. I also have too many LaLaloopsy tinies but I love them.
Then there are the books. My husband and I could practically open a library.
I also have squishy toys ordered from Japan. I love how soft they are. They're like squishing dough without the stickiness. It's hard to call them a collection because I basically squish them until they fall apart.
-
I collect
Transformers
Original poseable Care Bears.
Disney cars figures, but only cars that appeal to me.
Used to collect Breyers. Stopped for two reasons. 1. Lost interest 2. I don't like the new molds and the plastic doesn't match the old ones. Place a new Breyer next to one from the 70-90's, they look different, like they aren't the same company or quality.
Some Disney stuff as I love art and animation.
Schleich, papo, JP, and Safari dinosaurs.
Animated character Christmas ornaments.
-
My collections include...
Video game art books and/or guides
Pogles Wood story books
Interior design books from the '70s and '80s
Vinyl records
Minidiscs (blanks ones only, not too fussed about pre-recorded albums)
Interesting vintage teapots
And probably my most useful collection... cushions!
