I have a magenta sparkly unicorn in Glory pose. Throw some symbol ideas out there! She's been on my desk for close to a year. I think the head is cursed as it took 4-5 tries to get the eyes done and I do not want to even think about lashes yet.

I noticed this a few days ago and I've been trying to come up with something but right now all I can think of is an alternate version of Moonstone! :silly:
Hmm. Yellow stars could look great against the magenta, too. Or if you don't want to go with celestial themes, maybe a branch of green leaves or some tropical fruit? Citrus, dragonfruit...? I've always liked the combo of magenta and lime green.

Hello rybett!
Alt. Moonstone is always great. :D And anything tropical as Griffin said.
I'd say colour wise go for something light and bright or black.
Some ideas for bright:
Cake or cupcakes, colourful tropical drinks, tropical bird (cockatoo), paperplanes, origami crane, sun, Moon and stardust...
Some ideas for dark:
bats, traditional tattoo style, chessboard, shilhouette of landscape, black dog or cat...

I love the idea of a tropical bird or insect like a butterfly or dragonfly

I never thought about a reverse Moonstone. Either that or insects. I actually am working on a set of 10 GITD ponies with black cats on them.

Everyone had lots of great ideas! I was going to suggest something glow in the dark but it seems you are already thinking of that. I wonder how dark/deep a magenta she is?

More bright than deep if that makes sense. I am sure I had a plan when I started this, but it left me.

I think I understand what you mean. Hmm, maybe a black and white symbol would look nice? Might kind of have a late 80s early 90s feel to it...

If she is sparkly, maybe some crystal clusters as a symbol and a mineral name like Rhodonite or Ruby? I love Moonstone because her name is one of my favorite gems, and her symbol is cool.
T here are not enough gemstone-ish ponies (this coming from a mineral collector...)
