Hi all, long time no see! ;u;
I've been super busy over the last few months, mostly with medical problems as well as some personal issues. I haven't really taken a break from collecting, just posting! But it's 2020, and with me and my sis getting hyped all over again for the Pony Friends Forever Con coming up, so I figured it's high-time I got back to posting my buys and finds. So without further ado, here is what I've added to my collection since the last brag!
First up, I mentioned months ago that there was a lady who offered me a lot of overpriced ponies, and I bought just Love Melody since the others were too pricey. Well, on Black Friday, her booth had a 20% off sale and I nabbed up the rest of the ones I wanted for reasonable prices! Here's what I got:

Baby Firefly

Baby Moondancer
They're all in really lovely condition, so clean! Fizzy's hair is currently crazy but she still has her factory curls, so I didn't want to mess with it too much until I can figure out how to style it without ruining them hehe.

Next, we went to the mall that's about thirty minutes away from our house for Christmas shopping, and stopped at Cracker Barrel for lunch. And who should I find but my favorite pony from the Rainbow repro set, Confetti? :D

And now we're into the thrift/antique store finds from the last couple months!
First up, I stumbled upon a bag of doll combs for like $0.50 at a local thrift store, and recognized one of the combs as a G2 comb! Cupcake's comb, to be precise <3

Secondly we have this lot of gals with very snazzy haircuts, all found super cheap at the antique mall. I ended up styling their manes in some pretty neat ways!

Thirdly, we have my finds from yesterday!

Sunrise Song, one of the few G3 unicorns I was missing. She came with that charm but it's not actually hers as far as I know, I haven't gotten around to ID'ing it yet >u<

A whole bunch of G4 brushables, all doubles of course. They have really nice hair though so I'm wondering if they're from the older waves? *shrugs* The Pinkies will probably end up being customized since I have a ton of them oml

And finally, part of the GoH movie playset! Sadly a lot of the pieces are missing, but it's in great condition and it was only $3 at a thrift store. This is gonna look so cool hung from the ceiling like I have my pony helicopter hung >u< Such great display potential.

Nice finds!! I find it rewarding to get previously overpriced ponies at a much more reasonable price.
For Fizzy's curls, I find it best to work with as cold water as possible. I brush it in sections, and then lightly curl it around my finger. I use straws too if it looks like a curl needs more structure.
If you have an earlier G4 brushable and a newer brushable, there is a way to tell the different by looking at them face on, the newer molds have fatter faces (unless it's flip flopped).

Oh cool! I kind of like shorter hair snuzzle. Looks very good on her.

Very cool. :) I haven't gotten ponies in a long time. I can buy them but I won't GET them till I go home again and god only knows when that will be.

Dakota! Nice to see you around again, sorry to hear about all that's been happening. Nice finds! Confetti is such a nice white, dang.
