Hi,
I'm planning on buying a lovely G1 pony. Its otherwise in great condition but its head looks too small for its body and its a different shade. Is this normal for older ponies? Its an Italian one if that makes any difference.
Thanks :)

Dunno anything about Italians and their heads, but the other prob is what's known as head/body mismatch. Its a problem caused by either one part of the toy discoloring faster then the other half, or because of plastic batch differences.

Thanks, good to know its a genuine problem with G1's. I was almost thinking that the head had been replaced with another pony's!

It might be. Kinda wanna see a picture of this pony.

It's most likely a head/body colour mismatch. Pictures would be helpful, you can use imgur for pics, I find that the easiest. :)

Never tried Imgur before, hope this works:

Ok doesn't seem to work. But in any case, would you say that a mismatch between the head and body should affect the price of the pony?

A head and body mismatch definitely affects the price of a pony. Some are more probe to having that then others.
