Recently I've been comparing the various body shades of Star Hoppers. As a kid I thought mine was turquoise blue, but it looks like a lot of others are more green, and the mail order version seems more opaque. I'd like to see the range of shades and colors people have found!
My two Star Hoppers are in my signature =)

Here's my girl. She's setting up Cosmos on a blinddate with Starstrike.

I have two different MO ones and one store version who is different again.
There will be people who put the differences down to discolouration but it's not always the case, there are definitely batch differences too. The store one is from here in the UK (where we didn't have the MO release). The other two came from the US obviously xD. You can see the symbols are not angled the same or even quite the same size, but they are also really different colours.

The MO ponies do tend to have more opaque plastic than the store releases. It's not just Starglow but across the set.

Mine is a bit more like yours on the left. The one in the middle is just gorgeous!

I need to dig mine out. I have a dark one and a bright one.
She is a special pony for me. <3
I'll try to get pictures tomorrow.

that head body mismatch is quite... precious...

Whoa, crazy! I don't think I've ever seen a Star Hopper like that, mlp4me!

She does have a friend somewhere else in the US that has the opposite coloration condition. I'd like to upgrade her someday...

Maybe you two can find each other and swap heads. XD

Sadly it looks as though I sold my bright colored Starhopper. I still have my dark body one, which is the one I got in the mail as a child. :) I sold a lot of my collection years ago, so I must have sold the bright one, as I can't find it.

Ok, I got some new photos of my Star Hoppers, because my sig photos don't live up to the gorgeous ones people have posted here!
Here's my MO and store versions. My MO has a head/body mismatch, too, but nothing near as fantastic as yours, mlp4me! In the second photo, you can see the source of my confusion - my store version always looked turquoise or teal to me in light, certainly more blue-ish than the MO, though at other angles she looks green also.
