Post by: Ragamuffin on October 28, 2019, 01:40:28 PM: G3!!! Such a cute design. Great colours, adorable cutie mark, good accessories, AND the backpack was cute. If I see her repro at Target I'm totally getting it. She's so.....apple-y!

I don't have any nostalgia towards original Applejack but find her endearing. Freckles are cute but I don't prefer orange and yellow to red and green. G4 is the same exact design-wise but I appreciate her being one of the more mature characters.

I was hoping someone would post Applejack's song :biggrin: G1 Applejack is my favorite version of Applejack although I'm also fond of her G3 version because her dark red/pink is so striking.

Applejack's song is one of the things that really sparked my love for G1 Applejack.

She is indeed the most appley of the applejacks. The other 2 remind me of the Applejack cereal. :)

Anyway I can't decide between g1 applejack and g4 applejack. I generally prefer g1 but I've been with g4 applejack so long you know.
I like the g1 toy better but the g4 character is more appealing to me.

Same here: I prefer G4's personality (she's one of my faves on the show), but G1s are just prettier toys overall, and I love the shy pose!

In my mind, G3 AJ has a spunky personality, similar to G4 Pinkie in the way she has lots of energy and is always ready to have fun. G4 AJ is my favorite of the mane 6, I’ve always had a thing for country gals, and her down to earth hardworking nature appeals to me. Honestly I stan the entire apple family but that’s my take.
